Half an hour later...

"Boo-hoo…you lied to me…boo-hoo…"

Xu Xin wrapped herself in the blanket and curled up at one end of the bed, crying and crying. Her eyes were red and swollen from all her tears.

"What did I lie to you about? Didn't you feel anything else besides pain?"

Wang Hao spoke very flippantly as he sat on the side of the bed and smoked a cigarette.

He was feeling super-pleased inside. The joy he felt when he saw Xu Xin crying her eyes out from the pain was too difficult to describe in words.

It was Xu Xin's own fault for treating him so poorly before and basically pushing him out to his death. Whatever he was doing now was nothing compared to that, and this was only the beginning of his revenge on Xu Xin.

But when Xu Xin heard Wang Hao's question, she replied a little puzzledly, "This time was indeed different."

"So what else did you feel?" asked Wang Hao.

"It's a bit hard to say." Xu Xin frowned and said, "In any case…I think…forget it..."

"Ha, ha, ha! Looks like before this, Li Dong didn't manage to…" said Wang Hao as he laughed.

"What are you trying to say?" Xu Xin had no idea what he was talking about.

"You're such a naïve little girl. You don't seem to know anything."

Wang Hao used to think that a wicked, vicious girl like Xu Xin would know about all these things, but he was surprised to find out that she didn't know anything about sex.

Xu Xin didn't have any idea what Wang Hao was talking about, and though she was curious, she wasn't looking forward to the answer. She was more concerned about whether she was going to be able to keep living.

"By the way, didn't you say you were going to look for food? Did you run into some danger? Why did you come back empty-handed?" asked Xu Xin.

"I didn't really run into anything dangerous, but there's no more food in this vicinity. I'm going to have to go out a little farther to look for food."

After saying this, Wang Hao looked at the time and saw that nearly one hour had passed already, so he started putting his clothes on again.

"Are you leaving now?"

Xu Xin's eyes got wide. She felt that since Wang Hao had just returned to the room, he ought to rest for a while more.

"If we don't have food, then both of us are going to die. There's no point in hesitating over this matter."

Wang Hao got dressed, slung his backpack over his back, picked up his katana, and walked out of the room.

After the room door was shut, Xu Xin's expression immediately fell, and she started grumbling.

"This Wang Hao is definitely venting his anger on me. What a liar." And, after saying that, her tears rolled down her cheek again as she sighed. "But I don't have a choice either. I'm just a girl, so what can I do about it? If I don't listen to him, then I won't be able to survive."

The more Xu Xin thought about it, the angrier she became. Eventually she decided that she was going to just put up with this in order to survive, then when she got a chance, she would leave Wang Hao.

...

After Wang Hao left the school, he headed for the main streets.

He came to a convenience store, looked for food on the shelf, and started eating and drinking heartily.

He purposely picked food with high energy content like sausages, chocolates, and canned beef.

Xu Xin was a girl who didn't know anything at all, so it took a lot of effort and energy to have sex with her.

After a short while, Wang Hao was finished eating and drinking. He packed some food items into his bag and left the convenience store.

By this time, the sky had begun to darken.

Wang Hao felt that it was about time, so he started heading toward the police station.

He went down one street, turned into a small alley, and the police station appeared in front of him again.

There were some shadows moving about in the courtyard of the police station.

In order to avoid detection, Wang Hao transformed himself into a zombie, then continued to move closer to the police station.

He came to the fence around the police station, found a hidden spot, and stood there.

He activated his Talent with his mind and his scope of vision slowly started rising into the air.

His line of sight stopped at the top of the third floor of the police station. This enabled him to look over both the front compound of the police station as well as the back.

Wang Hao could see that a muscular man was in the courtyard right now, holding some tools and standing in front of a police car with its hood open. He was probably inspecting and repairing the police car.

After glancing at that man for a moment, he then moved his view toward the ground.

This time, Wang Hao switched his view to match what a normal human would see, and he started by going through the front door of the police station.

There was a table at the entrance of the police station, and a middle-aged man with a fierce-looking face was sprawled at the table. Several empty bottles of beer and a plate of unfinished vegetables were on the table.

Wang Hao guessed that this man was supposed to be on guard here. If anything unusual was happening outside the main door, he was supposed to inform the rest of the people inside.

His view continued to move farther in and went into one of the rooms.

The room was a mess inside and didn't look like the office it used to be anymore. There was a bed inside, and several shirtless middle-aged men were sleeping on it.

ZZZZ…ZZZZ…

They were happily snoring away.

These men weren't living too well. There was nothing on the tables inside the room, and the floor was littered with several empty packets of food.

Wang Hao didn't see any guns anywhere. Besides a few metal bats and machetes on the floor, there were no other weapons around.

Wang Hao continued to look through the next few rooms, and they seemed to be in a similar state.

He started to find this very strange. These people didn't look like policemen at all. They resembled thugs instead. But since they had been able to take over the police station, why didn't any of them have guns?

While he pondered this, Wang Hao's view went up the stairs and reached the second floor.

"Hmm?"

Just as Wang Hao's line of sight reached the second floor, he heard a different sort of noise.

Those sounds were all too familiar to him.

"There's actually a woman here, and they're engaging in this sort of activity. They're not living too badly after all."

Wang Hao applauded them as his view wandered into one of the rooms.

The scene in front of him was exactly as he'd expected. It was especially shameful.

It was a scene containing a fat middle-aged man and a young, beautiful woman.

Wang Hao looked at them for a while before he moved on again.

He hadn't come here to witness this sort of thing. He was here to kill these people.

Wang Hao's view moved toward the table inside that room, and he found that there was a black police pistol on it. A clip with a few loose bullets was placed next to it.

"These people do have guns after all."

Even though Wang Hao had guns too, his heart still felt a little shock upon seeing this police pistol.
