4 The School Belle, Li Mengyao

"She's so pretty…"

Wang Hao stared at the girl in front of him. She had a curvaceous figure and long, fair legs visible under her short white skirt. His eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.

He couldn't believe his luck. He'd actually managed to find a girl who was even prettier than Xu Xin.

In that instant, Wang Hao felt as if the dormant energy that had been lying within his body all these years was about to explode.

"Why are you still standing there? Aren't you afraid of the zombies?"

The girl looked agitated and anxious as she stretched out her hand to drag Wang Hao into her room since he'd been standing still, just staring at her.

Bang!

After dragging Wang Hao in, the girl hurriedly slammed the door shut.

She hadn't been given a gift like Wang Hao. She wasn't able to walk around without getting bitten.

She had already witnessed how a lot of the girls that lived in her dormitory couldn't endure their hunger anymore and had tried to escape, but instead had all fallen victim to the zombies.

That was why she had been so nervous when she opened the door earlier.

She was afraid that opening the door would attract zombies to her room and she would end up getting attacked.

But Wang Hao was extremely calm. He stared at the girl in front of him and looked at her chest, her legs, and then from her legs back up to her face.

Her long black hair went past her shoulders, her eyes were large, clear, and bright, her eyebrows were perfectly arched, her skin was fair and flawless, her lips were nice and thin…

This girl was really very pretty.

"What do you want? Why are you looking at me like that?"

She had started getting nervous when she saw how Wang Hao was staring at her as if he was a wolf or tiger staring at its prey.

"You're so pretty. I want you to become my woman."

Wang Hao looked at the girl in front of him and got straight to the point. If this had happened before the Apocalypse, there was no way he would have had the guts to say such a thing to the girl in front of him.

That was because the girl standing in front of him now was the school belle, who had been treated as a goddess by almost every guy in their school. All the guys, including the rich and good-looking guys, had been after her.

But he was just an ordinary-looking guy with a skinny, weak body, so there was no way Li Mengyao would even have given him a second glance.

But things were different now. He had a powerful system, so when it came to a woman who caught his eye, he didn't need to hide his true thoughts anymore.

"You have got to be kidding, right? I'm on the verge of dying of starvation, and you want to talk to me about something ridiculous like that?" said Li Mengyao. There was shock in her voice. She had clearly been stunned by his words.

"I'm not kidding. I really want you to become my woman, and I want to take care of you. For your sake, I will go out and get food, and I will do my best to protect you," said Wang Hao with a passionate look in his eyes.

"That's impossible."

Li Mengyao immediately rejected him. If she wanted to find a man to rely on, she had to at least get one who was handsome and extraordinarily strong.

Wang Hao was way off her idea of a desirable guy.

"Why? Just because I'm not handsome? Or do you think I can't take care of you?" asked Wang Hao.

"What's the use of talking about all this? There are zombies everywhere, and I haven't eaten anything in two days. I'm on the verge of starving to death!" snapped Li Mengyao before walking back to her bed and sitting down on it.

She didn't think Wang Hao would be able to get any food out there. Most people were bitten by zombies almost immediately after they walked out of the dormitory.

Wang Hao didn't know what Li Mengyao was thinking about.

He smiled and said, "So you've been starving for two days? Why didn't you say so earlier?"

Wang Hao put his backpack down and pulled out a pack of sausages and a bottle of mineral water as he said, "Look at all this."

"Oh, my god! You…you have food! Give some to me!"

When Li Mengyao spotted the sausages and the mineral water, she cast aside the pride she used to have as the prettiest girl in school. She stretched her hands out like a beggar asking him for some food because she was simply too hungry.

"You want to eat this? I'll give it to you then…"

Wang Hao didn't tease Li Mengyao. He just handed the sausages and mineral water to her.

Li Mengyao had been hungry for too long and didn't care what she looked like now. She ripped the packaging apart and started chomping the food down in large mouthfuls.

The way she gobbled everything down resembled how Wang Hao used to gobble instant noodles after surfing the internet the whole night long.

In no time, she'd finished all the sausages and drunk half the bottle of mineral water. She had been so hungry and thirsty over the last two days and had been afraid that she was about to succumb to starvation soon.

She now looked a little nervously at Wang Hao and asked, "Do you have any more food?"

Of course, Wang Hao had known that one pack of sausages wasn't going to be enough food for her.

He patted his backpack and said, "As long as you become my woman, all the food in here will be yours."

"You…why are you being like this? I've felt as if I was on the verge of starving to death. Why won't you save me from hunger?" asked Li Mengyao rather angrily.

"I'm sorry, but all this food here was obtained at the risk of losing my life. If you aren't going to become my woman, then why should I give you any food?" Wang Hao returned her question with another question and a calm look on his face.

"You…"

Li Mengyao didn't know what to say as she looked at Wang Hao. It was true that food was the most valuable thing in the world right now, so there was no reason why he should give her food for nothing. Why would anybody give up their chance to survive in this Apocalypse by giving it to her instead?

"All right now, I don't want to force you. If you're not willing to be my woman, then just pretend I never said anything," said Wang Hao as he reached out to grab the handle of the door.

If Li Mengyao wasn't willing to be his woman, then there was no need to continue wasting any time on her.

After all, he had such a powerful system now, he didn't have to worry about being unable to find a pretty woman. In fact, he might even be able to get a celebrity to become his woman.

"Don't go."

Li Mengyao didn't want to let Wang Hao leave. After the Apocalypse had happened, she had been suffering from loneliness, and fear as well. So since she'd finally found a fellow human being, she wasn't going to let him go so easily.

Besides, since she didn't have any food, she didn't know how many more days she could remain in this room. So Li Mengyao grabbed onto Wang Hao's wrist.

"You'll agree to be my woman?" asked Wang Hao excitedly as he felt the smooth skin of Li Mengyao's hand on his wrist.

"Let me…let me think about it for a while. Right now my stomach hurts from being so hungry, don't force me to make a decision right now," said Li Mengyao.

"I won't force you, but I don't have enough patience to wait for you. If you're still undecided, I'm going to go." Wang Hao reached for the door handle again.

"Don't go…I'll…I'll agree to it."

Li Mengyao looked as if she was struggling with a dilemma, but her stomach was getting hungrier and hungrier.

In the end, as tears rolled down her cheeks, she stretched out a hand toward Wang Hao and said, "Give me some food. I'm willing to be your woman."

As Wang Hao watched this scene unfold, he became so excited. He opened his backpack and pulled out all the sausages, biscuits, and drinks that he'd kept in it and said, "I'll give you all of these."

Li Mengyao was so hungry. She grabbed the sausages and ripped open the packaging and started eating. She only felt better after eating several sausages.

"Can we start now?" asked Wang Hao because he really couldn't wait anymore.

Li Mengyao froze for a moment when she heard this question. Then, she finally nodded and quietly said, "Okay."

Wang Hao had been without a girlfriend for so many years and had watched so much porn that he knew a lot of things in theory but had never had any experience with women. The moment he saw Li Mengyao nod, he couldn't hold himself back anymore and pounced on her.
