6 My Skills and Attributes

The time once again continued flowing originally. Hunter was now ready. He got stronger and gained new skills that could help him. "Activate, Boost!"
Hunter suddenly felt very powerful. A blue smoke-like light started flowing out from his body. He charged at the rat and, to his surprise, he got so much faster that he missed the rat because he couldn't control his speed.
He tried again and this time, he ended in front of the rat. He got startled because he was suddenly faced with it so he swung his sword carelessly.
Two slashes were successfully placed on the rat but on the third swing, the sword broke. "Seriously?! Why would you break now?!"
Hunter was still in a panic so without thinking, he punched the head of the rat. Blood started splattering everywhere. The head of the rat was completely shattered because of Hunter's punch which only left the body.
The standing body of the rat collapsed on the floor.

Hunter was relieved when he heard the message. He sat down and looked at the body of the rat. "I... did it."
His face showed a faint smile which instantly vanished. He was so happy right now. He accomplished something for the first time where he placed in a lot of effort.
[ Note. Special attribute 'System' has leveled up. The 'System' now knows more information and can do more things. ]
"Leveled up?", Hunter thought. "Open 'status'."

"What's up with the additional on my stats?" Hunter asked himself.
[ Note. That is the skill 'Boost Lv. 1's effect. ]
"Eh? I can ask the 'System' some information about my skills?"
[ Answer. Originally, you can't. But since the 'System' has been upgraded to 'Lv. 2', the 'System' can now give you some info about, not only your skills but even others. ]
'So that's what it is.', thought Hunter before asking the 'System' to give a brief explanation about his current skills. And here is what he learned. He leaned on the wall and closed his eyes then started listening to the 'System'.
[ The skill 'Holy Eyes' is a skill that improves your sense of sight and allows you to see a bit of the future. It also helps you see things that aren't within the area of vision.
Note. The higher the level, the better the effects. ]
"So... I was right.", said Hunter. "But I didn't know that I would be able to see things that aren't within my area of vision. That's helpful."
[ Skill 'Boost' increases status depending on the skill level. Can be used in two ways;
1. Timed. If skill is used, has a time limit of 20 seconds before deactivating. Will have 15 seconds cool down. The benefit for this is that it won't consume any mana (MP).
2. Continuous. You can use the skill continuously but it will consume 5 mana every minute. ]
"Okay. So that explains the additionals."
[ Skill 'Area Detection' allows you to create an image of the land construction in your head. It is only limited for a 10 meter radius. The higher the level, the wider the area. ]
"Mmm. Yep. These skills are pretty useful. I'm pretty sure I will survive with these skills." Hunter opened his eyes. He stood up and did some stretching. Then, he looked at the rat's body. There was a small light coming from it.
Now that he thought, he really didn't examine the body because of how tired he was. He went closer to it and took the shiny object
[ Note. You are in possession of a 'skill orb'. 'Skill orbs' posseses skills that can be learned by a person. Although, the chances of learning stronger skills are low, these are rare objects since it allows you to learn skills for free. ]
"Really?! Then how do I obtain the skill inside it?!", asked Hunter excitedly.
[ Answer. You need to learn 'Absorption'. But, since the 'System' already posseses the skill, it can help you with it. And, even better, absorbing something using the 'System' would be much faster. ]
"Great! So then... How do I do it?"
[ Note. Just command the 'System'. ]
"Okay then." Hunter looked at the orb he was holding. "Absorb."
Slowly, the light of the orb became dimmer and dimmer until there was nothing left. The light then started flowing through Hunter's veins directly to his heart. And after a while, he received a message.
[ Note. The skill 'Character Reader Lv. 1' has been learned. ]
[ Note. 'Character Reader' is a skill that allows you to know information about a person. The higher the level, the more powerful the person you can read. ]
"This is totally useful. With this, I can know everything about someone!", Hunter exclaimed.
Hunter had a moment to express his excitement then a little sooner, he stopped. "Alright! Let's continue this journey. Hey 'System', where is the map of this place?"
[ Note. It has been stored in the 'System's dimensional space. Just use the command 'storage' to open. ]
Hunter opened the dimensional space and took the map. In the map, there were lots of dots with different colors. 'What the—' wondered Hunter but before he could finish, bunch of informations started to go in his head.
The red dots on the map were monsters. The big blue one was his location. The violet dots were high level monsters. The yellow ones were treasures and the path with a greed light was a way to the exit.
He wondered how he came to know of these but before he could ask, the 'System' already sent a message.
[ Note. The information you got is due to the special attribute 'Eyes of Information'. This attribute gives you info about things you don't know. The is a passive skill meaning you wont need to activate it cause it is automatic. It also won't consume any mana. The higher the level, the more things you can have info about. ]
Hunter was shocked. Now that he thought about it, he has a lot of skills involving eyes and information. With this, he can become the most knowledgeable in the world.
He chuckled. 'This is getting pretty exciting.', Hunter thought, then he went on his way.
