It's been over two hours since Bai Shen and the others killed their first zombie.
In that time, not only did he and the others reach at least level 3, they also received attribute points to spend.

The most surprising thing for Bai Shen, though, was the fact that he encountered a mutant butterfly that didn't drop anything else other than +0.1 Luck.
It was the first time he saw something drop the infamous Luck attribute.
After that, he tried to assign one attribute point to Luck, but it only increased it by another 0.1; meaning that the conversion rate was 10 to 1.
'In the future, I should pay more attention to these mutants, but for now, I should focus on the problem at hand.'
Saying so, Bai Shen raised his head a bit to see the situation. Close to a hundred zombies were roaming the street they were on, completely unaware of the fact that five humans wanted to claim their XP.
Only Fatty Jiang and Meixue hadn't reached level 4 yet, but they were close to it. Another surprise was Aunt Xiu's unparalleled spear wielding coupled with her Rage Talent. This made it possible for her to be a feared foe on the battlefield. Even when surrounded by 8 zombies, she managed to cut them all to pieces.
Lin Ruoxi also proved herself by 'Taming' a mutant dog and two zombies. They were currently level 2, and Lin Ruoxi said that she could see their stats and even distribute the attribute points however she wanted to.
Signaling with his hand, Li Meixue immediately understood what Bai Shen wanted. Locking onto her first target, she released the strings of her bow.
Swish! With pinpoint accuracy, her arrow struck itself into a zombie's head.
The downside of it was that the other zombies quickly reacted and tried to march towards her. Trying, because someone blocked their path.
It was Fatty Jiang with his Earth's Protection Talent; he was surrounded by Lin Ruoxi's pets.
Since he was the only one focused on defense among the group, Bai Shen tried to test his Talent's limits by asking Fatty Jiang to coat his arms in that miraculous membrane.
The result? Even the scratch or bite of a zombie couldn't pass through it.
As the first zombies to arrive charged forward, Bai Shen brandished his sword and flanked them. On the other side, Aunt Xiu did the same thing.

The battle didn't last more than fifteen minutes. When the last zombie fell, Bai Shen was also surprised to see that he leveled up once again.

Li Meixue was a different case, though. She first opted for going full Agility. Due to her previous training with the bow, she already had a good Physique and decent technique. What she needed was to be faster than her target.
Lin Ruoxi was the most complicated among them since her Charm All Talent mostly relied on the Charm Attribute.
But after giving it some thought, she also needed to take care of herself by adding the three main attributes. If a tamed creature couldn't protect her, she must be capable enough to do so herself.
After pondering for a while, Bai Shen also decided to distribute some of his attributes. He already had enough.
