The thickness of Frogenheim's canopy started to thin out, revealing an enigmatic clearing ahead. The first thing Johan noticed was the atmosphere; it was heavy and charged, like the static-filled air before a thunderstorm. But this was different. It was as if reality itself was bending, warping in a manner Johan had never encountered.
'What in the world...?' His thoughts meandered, attempting to grasp the surreal visuals unfolding before him. Trees at the periphery of the clearing weren't just trees; they seemed to be breaking down into pixelated versions of themselves, their edges rough and segmented, like a low-resolution video game from ages past.
Danny, looking equally perplexed, muttered, "Have you ever seen anything like this?"
