16 The Sweetest Flower

Ivy was waiting for Robin impatiently by the front door, she was worried about Robin the girl had been acting so strange recently. It wasn't just the fact that Robin seemed to have forgotten everything, she had also been dressing differently, gone where the mini skirts and crop tops, Robin now seemed to favor wearing the clothes that she said kept for 'fuddy-duddy meetings'. Robin had also been wearing less make-up Ivy had always presumed that Robin had worn such think foundation, heavy lipstick, and such big fake eyelashes was because she had bad skin and wasn't very pretty below the foundation, but the past couple of day Robin had barely worn any make-up and much to Ivys surprise her milky skin was perfect not a blemish on it. She looked so much prettier without the makeup, which Ivy didn't think was possible.

Ivy was just thinking about how good Robin looked, when she felt a tap on her shoulder she turned around to see Robin standing behind her. Ivy blushed, how could Robin look this pretty?! The skirt and the blouse made her look like the sweetest flower, the kind that could use her big eyes to get any man or woman to do her bidding if needed!!

"Do I have a job?" Robin asked suddenly.

Ivy laughed, and shook her head "No Robin! You are always studying... I don't think you'd have the time for a job."

"Oh..." replied Robin looking at the floor.

"Do you need money or something, I thought your parents were paying for you to go to university?"

"No, I'm okay! I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing any shifts!!"

'So my parents pay for everything, I should call them to make sure that they are okay with that, I mean I am not their real daughter am I?' Robin thought as she and Ivy headed towards the university.

At the gate Robin spotted Ryan, he was deep in a conversation with a girl it looked perfectly innocent but Robin wondered how many girls this guy was running around with. 'Not that I know how many guys I am running around with...' Robin thought to herself. Robin decided once she was sure she had the money coming in that she needed to live she would find out exactly how many men she was in bed with... 'Hopefully I have been in bed with 0 men!" How was she going to find that out though?

As she entered the classroom Robin felt Mr. Thomas gaze pierced her skin, she sat at her desk and kept staring at her feet. She would listen, take notes then slip out as quickly as possible. Mr. Thomas began to talk to the class about metaphors within the 'The Toad with A Deathwish', he advised the class that he wanted them all to hand in a small essay about it on Monday.

Ivy who was trying to concentrate on what her teacher was saying realized that her gaze kept on falling on Robin, who was taking notes so aggressively it looked like she was going to write through the paper! Was Robin actually worried about this essay? She always passes so easily, maybe she was looking to get a score of 110%...

The moment the lecture finsihed Robin got up and rushed towards the door, she heard Mr. Thomas call her name but she pretended not to hear it, and speed up she ended up being one of the first students out of the door. Robin hurried away quickly following signs to student services.

A woman in her 40's was sat reading a glamor magazine, when Robin knocked quietly on the door. The woman was the school's Counsellor Mis Bay.

"Come in" said the Miss Bay slipping the magazine away quickly, Robin walked in and the Miss Bay sighed to herself. Robin might have been one of the university's brightest students, but she was always causing her problems, Robbin had caught the Miss Bay, fantasizing with a married staff member and had used this information to bribe her into getting Robbin new schedules and time off when she needed it. Miss Bay had long suspected that Robin wasn't the number one student as everyone saw her, but she'd never found anything to prove it. "What do YOU need?" she asked Robin coldly.

"I need a new schedule mam, I've lost my current one," Robin asked.

"Is that all?" Miss Bay raised an eyebrow such a normal request, 'she must be planning something'. Robin nodded in reply. Miss Bay clicked a few buttons on the computer before printing off a schedule for Robin, she passed it over not looking the brat in eyes.

"Thanks, mam," Robin said, the Miss Bay didn't look up and continued to stare at the screen, and the girl scurried away.
