3 Chapter Three

The twitch of Diana's hand gets the attention of a golden-haired man beside her. She lays upon a bed with a silk red blanket. Her eyelids felt like they were weighed down by stones which only made her feel frustrated. She starts to feel the soreness of her body which made her feel grounded to reality. After awhile of trying she gets her eyes open in which she regrets doing. The light of the candle in the room gives her an immediate headache.

"Ugh..." She grunts while shading her eyes with her hands.

"You're awake." The male beside her finally speaks but it sounds more irritated then relieved.

'Wow such a nice welcome.' She wants to say it out loud but decides against it.

Instead she says "Yeah~ At least we know you're not blind."

Not noticing Ghost [the white hair man if you didn't know UwU] walk into the room, he announces his presence by snickering because of Diana's comment. Diana looks at the two people in the room both of them looked terrifying in the shadows of the candle was making.

"Well are you going to introduce yourself or will I?" Diana questions.

Diana was clearly grumpy but of course anyone who is grumpy doesn't notice how they act. The soreness in her muscles becomes worse as she sits up. A slight gasp of pain makes Ghost's eyes look at her in concern. She quickly conceals the pain with a cold glare.

"I'm Ghost the leader of The Future Spades. My morph is a white alpha wolf. This is my second in command Javilen. His morph is an African lion." Ghost speaks first while bowing his head in respect. [Remember Diana is a princess so Ghost is using his manners when he bows his head.]

"Nice to meet you princess Diana." Javilen says copying the motion Ghost did making his golden hair go into his green eyes.

Ignoring Javilen, Diana looks at Ghost in confusion.

"Ghost what's The Future Spades?"

"The Future Spades is a anonymous organization that protects the Royals from groups that want to overthrow you. Your now in my pack's custody so we will be taking care of you. Only the people within the organization know of this name so don't just throw that name out there. I run the whole group but there are other leaders involved."

Diana raises one of her eyebrows "Do I have a to stay in your organization or could I go off on my own? Am I gonna be held here against my will is what I wanna say?"

"Unless you want to die out there like your parents did, I would suspect you want to stay safe?" Javilen finally speaks which earns him a threatening glare from Ghost.

Diana forgot all about her parents. A wave of sadness passes through her to be only covered by fury. 'Balto...The Royal lead guard betrayed his own King and queen, my parents. I'm going to make every single one of those traitors regret they ever existed.' [ Hi again, so I'm not very good at creating grief...so this is the best I can do. The last time someone died in my family I laughed. Everyone looked at me like I was insane. So the best I can do is make her feel sad for teensy bit of time before becoming angry T _ T ]

Ghost notices her change in moods and becomes concerned.

"Alright Javilen you're dismissed." Ghost commands before walking to Diana's bedside.

Javilen doesn't look happy about being dismissed but follows his Alpha's commands loyally.

Ghost watches Diana's reaction closely as he scoots an oak chair near her. Sitting in it he suddenly speaks "So you may be wondering who will be watching over you since your still a minor. I know no one will be able to replace your parents but I will be your guardian until you become an adult. I know we just met but you need someone to help you out and my pack will help with that."

Diana looks shocked her eyes become wide and her jaw drops.

"Why?" That's all she could say before tears start to well in her eyes.

Everything becomes more real when he tells her that. It isn't just a dream to her now. She realizes this is reality.

"I'm the strongest person in The Future Spades so it makes sense that I would become your legal guardian." He gently says as if she were glass and his words were going to shatter her.

[Hi it's the author...again. So Ghost isn't very good with emotions but he took in consideration Diana's situation. He knew that this was really hard for her so he's doing his best in helping her. He has no experience in this type matter. His reputation in the world is ruthless. Everyone outside of his pack is scared of him. And no has seen his true wolf form. He doesn't usually get into anything emotional so when he volunteered at the meeting they held to see who was taking Diana in they were surprised to see Ghost offer his house for it.]

He silently waits for Diana to process his words. His blue eyes reveal nothing. A small rogue tear falls down her cheek. Taking in a shaky breath she contains herself. She stares at him through her violet pools and takes in shaky breath.

"Will you be able to train me?" For once in her life she is so sure on what she is going to do that she doesn't back down when he challenges her through a stare.

Ghost is surprised on how determined she is. She isn't sobbing over the loss of her parents but instead wants revenge.

"Yes. Well not that's settled, are you ready to go to my house?" Ghost's speaks after a minute of him weighing his options on how to reply.

"I guess, but I need clothes." She hesitantly says while rubbing her arm in an uncomfortable manner.

"We can have that arranged." A small grin plays on his lips as he was so excited to show her all the clothes he bought. He had no idea how he was going to pick one outfit for her to wear out of the hospital.
