1 Welcome to Cathandrie

Canthandrie is home to various races, those of which include elves who reside in the north, the Dwarves who are found in the western mountains, and humans who dominate the southern plains.. The mountains are home to thousands of precious metals that carry out most of the Dwarven nation's economic bidding. The richest beings can be found mostly within the Dwarven kingdom of Brunswick. Their metals creating the strongest of swords. As well as the strongest of trinkets and orbs. Mines are commonplace for Dwarven workers, paid daily, and extra if any minerals are dug up within the catacombs of the Champlain mountain range. Caves once home to only bats and bears are now filled with large running hallways, and homes for families. Brunswick is an oligarchy held by the legendary Barbel brothers, Lodin, Thorn, and Gilligan. This nation, by far the smallest, isn't what meets the eye. Brunswick is home to the largest military and economic prosperity and helps the other faring nations prosper through trading.

The nation to the north, settled in by the Elven race, Ethandruiel, ruled by a king and queen, alike. The Elves are known for their treachery. Relations between the Dwarves and Elves have grown loose after past murders of traders crossing borders regarding simple barter items. The Elven king, Yoni, and his wife Elba are some of the most powerful beings on Cathandrie. Honing in the magical power to crush enemies with only a flick of their fingers. Their subordinates, two female assassins known far and wide for their Assassinations of ambassadors and lords. The queen and king held special powers held only by the eleven kingdom, telekinesis. If the battle were to break out between the Dwarves and Elves, the King and Queen would be ready.

Finally, in the southern plains, the humans who withhold the middle and lower class.they work mainly out in fields. The upper-class portion are military and noblemen, those of which carry out most of Canthandries' political fares. Contradictory to the Dwarven and Elven Kingdoms, the southern plains are the most diverse of the two. Very little opposition came when Karthus delegated the integration of Dwarves and Elves into Evandria. Despite all three races' differences, they had one common enemy. Various efforts and many losses have led to a joint force between these three allies to fight against an inhumane terrorist-like group that has laid waste to life for thousands of years. One decisive battle years ago saved the humans, elves, and dwarves, respectively. Aided by some of the most powerful warriors that have become heroes of Cathandrie. The Etherial Champions.

While leaves on the hillside sway back and forth, the city capital of the human race resides. Evandria is found in the bottom of the continent of Cathandrie, with a large harbor that brings in imports. Ruled by the powerful Lord Karthus, a magic wielder who has aided Evandria since its destruction in the past. Post-war, Karthus was the first to start moving the ash and rubble from this town and helped others recover any items they could find. Karthus was an honorable man, helping those in need and being there when trouble arose. People trusted Karthus for his beneficial actions. Nobody dared to question him if orders were given out. His popularity has grown massively since his reunification of Evandria's military base with surrounding nations. The Dwarves and Elves are now able to freely walk the streets or serve in the military amongst the humans again. Which has helped the diversity and wealth spread all across the southern plains of Cathandrie. He's a charismatic man, his word is the village law. All of those there respect him like a wise older man, but this man is not one to toy with.

Not all races of Cathandrie are coherently friendly, though. The demonic nation of Death's Door. No one has intel on who runs the country, or its original founding. One thing is known for sure, the demon race called the Frey is not to be toyed with. Enlarged entities that can rip beings in half with a simple tug. These creatures were not natural to this world, and were made in the depths of the hellish caverns that reside in their country. Their creator and Deity named, Carnage have been fought between races for thousands of years. Not long ago humans, elves, and dwarves alike, joined arms in the Tri-Force alliance to overturn the tide of the Frey.

The Frey's magical beasts whose flames spread for miles. Their rage builds, each and every day. The bloodlust can be felt from being in their presence. The three nations who have allied together, are fearful of yet another war breaking out. Despite the differences, things were looking troublesome as sightings of Frey have increased over the last few weeks in several areas across Cathandrie. Last week, Word from an attack on a young human boy from Evandria has spread all across the continent. This news has reached the Dwarves in the West and the Elves to the north. Trouble is brewing once more, and the three nations must start preparing for the inevitable.
