I Became The Strongest Side Character

‘A Heroic Tale’ a story that seemingly goes on forever. About the hero ‘Asher’ and his many companions as they battle humans, beastmen, gods, celestial’s, and travel through time and space. With over 10,000 chapters, this novel was nothing more than a special story, about adventure, power, and discovery. Jay a 20 year old who spent most of his childhood reading this novel/comic series, found himself dreaming of becoming like one of these fabled beings, but alas he lives in reality. Magic, superpowers, adventure, and real gods do not exist here in our world. After moving back into his family’s big house, he stumbles upon his old room. Finding the old Novel/Comic. Giving it a read one last time, but as he opens it up, he suddenly sees a bright light. It envelopes him completely. As his vision clears, he finds himself in an unfamiliar place, his body hurts, and he is surrounded by creatures that resemble nightmarish demons. As he tries to make heads or tails of what was happening. He was saved just in the nick of time by somebody clayed in all white and black, holding a very familiar looking sword. Jay recognized this individual as the protagonist of the series he loved ever since he was a kid. Despite seeing him in front of his very eyes, he couldn’t believe ‘Asher’ was staring at him. “Are you alright? Nothings broken right?” As Asher extends his hand to Jay. I just wanted to do something different since continuing the same story for a while kinda made me stumble upon different ideas to start up upon.
