Chapter 23 Continue the course

The door wasn't very thick and Harry could almost hear Filch muttering to himself.

"Look around carefully, little baby, that Malfoy boy, but he made a big deal about two students going on a date here."Filch's voice held a strange excitement, "Find them and let's teach them a lesson they won't forget, like how about washing the toilets by hand for a month?"

The three Hermione's looked at each other in horror and then held their breath, trying to minimize the possibility of their exposure. But what was very strange was that this door Harry and the others had was right under Filch's nose, and he went back and forth several times as if he couldn't see it at all.

"He can't find this place!"Sherry said softly to Harry, "Harry, remember? A place where no one else can find it but herself."

"What? Teacher is saying that this is the Room of Requirement?"Harry was very shocked.

"You didn't notice just now, that painting on the wall, it's the kind that doesn't move at all, just like in the normal world." Sherry said to Harry, "And the content of the portrait, it depicts the scene where Gryffindor subdues the gargoyle."

"Three times passing under the gaze of the troll and sincerely praying to Hogwarts for help."Harry remembered where Ron had just been, chanting back and forth, "Where to hide?"It must have been the act, which qualified as a summoned room, that caused such a room to suddenly appear for them to happen to be hiding in.

Filch was very disappointed when he didn't find the offending student and cursed as he walked away with his cat. The three Harrys were instantly relieved, leaning their backs against the door and all of a sudden paralyzed, letting out a long breath.

Hermione drew her wand and lit it up, realizing that what they were in was a very small space, basically as small as three or four square meters as it could be. Also, the room was empty, nothing but Harry and the three of them. Just in case Filch hadn't gone far, or killed a horseback, the three Harrys waited a while longer before coming out of that room. Magically, just after the three had left that room, it disappeared without a trace right under their noses.

Hermione and Ron were amazed and agreed that it was some kind of super secret or something. Harry felt a little bad because he knew exactly how it started, but kind of didn't want to tell Hermione and the others because it concerned Sherry's existence.

"Harry, you might as well go home, you have class in the morning!"Hermione said.

Harry remembered that he had Potions class tomorrow morning, and felt a great sense of sadness in his heart, so he hurriedly said goodbye before heading to the Ravenclaw's dormitory.

"Teacher, the Room of Requirement is so far away, it takes a long time just to get back and forth, how do you have time to study spells?"Harry asked with some concern.

"Let's go on the weekend first, there's no need to rush for the rest of the time yet, you wait for me to think of a way to get a good lesson first!"Sherry knew that Harry, at Christmas, would receive the Invisibility Cloak that Dumbledore had given him, a legacy left to him by his dad, and one of the famous Three Sacred Weapons of Death. As long as the invisibility cloak reached Harry's hands, then there were too many places where it could be manipulated.

By the time Harry got back to his dormitory, it was past one in the morning, and the little fat man's snores were ripping loudly. But Harry was too sleepy, planted himself on the bed, and then just fell asleep.

The next morning, Harry was woken up by the alarm clock, felt his head was heavy, and his body had little strength, one word, sleepy. When he ate breakfast, Harry's head was in a little bit of a spin, nearly smearing his face on top of the scrambled eggs on his plate.

"Harry, are you okay!"Vincent and the Feynman brothers both looked at him worriedly, "Why don't you go back and get some sleep! We'll give Professor Snape a leave of absence and tell him you're sick!"

"Absolutely not!"Harry was well aware that with anyone else, maybe this method would actually work, but given Snape's special feelings for him. Harry was certain that Snape would be checking this matter to the hilt, and once he found out that he had been deceived, he would be content to deduct all of his Ravenclaw points.

"Don't worry, just a little sleepy!"Harry yawned, "Snape's classroom and voice have a pretty strong sobering effect, nothing will happen."

The phrase don't just plant a flag was not lost on Harry. Harry felt the world's morose malice as the chalk, under the influence of magic, wrote out the specifics of the lesson.

"For this lesson, we are making a sleeping potion!"Snape waved his wand and the potions cabinet at the back of the classroom opened automatically, "One ingredient per person, make your own independently, no helping each other. Let's see how good you all really are!"

The three Vincent's surrounded Harry in a sort of siege, hoping to take care of him a bit. Harry was so sleepy that he almost sliced his hand in two as if it were a bean a couple of times while slicing the strips all together.

While stirring with his magic, Harry apparently forgot about the blackboard's request to stay away from steam, and he took a whiff of the slightly sweet and fishy smell of hot, wet steam, and his whole head hit the side of the dry pan where the potion was simmering all at once.

"Stupid! Is the brain made of hyacinth?"Luckily Snape was always watching this side of the room, and even with a wave of his wand, everything on Harry's table disappeared without a trace. Harry had fallen into a deep sleep at the moment under the effects of the potion and hadn't even heard Snape's rant.

Snape flipped open Harry's eyelids and looked at them, finding nothing major. He stood up and said coldly, "What are you all looking at me for, is the potion all done?"

"By the way, thanks to Mr. Savior's devotion, twenty points deducted for Ravenclaw. Now," he pointed at Vincent and Richard, "you two take this idiot back to his dormitory, and by the way, when he wakes up, tell him he's earned himself a month's confinement and to report to the cellar tomorrow afternoon."

Vincent and Richard rushed to help Harry up and head in the direction of the Ravenclaw's dormitory. It took the better part of a day for the two to put Harry to bed without incident. By the time the two hurried back to the Potions classroom, they were just in time for the end of Potions class. The two of them had already failed to boil their potions, and Snape mercilessly deducted three points from one of them. Although Richard and the two were angry, they didn't argue. In the past, some people had done this, but the result was only Snape smiling, using "disrespecting the professor" as the reason, deducting the other ten points.

By the time Harry woke up, it was past dinner time. Fortunately, Brother Richard and Vincent, one of them, had gotten him something to eat and brought it back to the dormitory. After Harry had eaten and drank his fill, though, the trio told him two pieces of bad news. The first was that he had been docked nearly thirty points, and the second was that, starting tomorrow night, he would need to go to Snape's office for a month straight, for labor, or confinement.

The first problem was okay, Ravenclaw was the most famous academy for schoolboys, as long as you were able to earn back your points, everyone still treated you the same. Especially, the points deducted in Snape's class. Now almost the whole school knew that Snape's favorite thing was to deduct points from Harry Bit, even if the Potions he completed were excellent, but Snape always found a reason to deduct points. The second problem was, how to spend a full January night with a professor who hated you so much? For a moment, Harry felt like his fate was bleak.

The weekend rolled around, and Harry got up early, while everyone else was still sleeping in. He had already washed up and was quietly making his way towards the Gryffindor tower. The journey was uneventful and he didn't run into anyone.

After walking back and forth under the portrait three times, Harry mumbled in his mind, "I need a place to practice magic."

Like last time, a door appeared abruptly on the wall.

"It worked!"Harry excitedly pulled the door open, stepped inside, and closed it. That way, he would be the only one in the place.

The Room of Requirement lived up to its name, and the furnishings inside were arranged exactly as they would be for magical training. There were wooden mannequins that acted as targets, several shelves of magical books, as well as sofas that were used to conduct rests, and so on.

"Teacher, let's start!"Harry said to Sherry in his mind.

"Wait for me!"Sherry faded from Harry's wrist and transformed into a dull humanoid figure of light that stood in front of Harry.

"Several months have passed since the last spell practice. Do you remember, the spells you know?"Sherry asked.

"Of course."Harry replied before Sherry asked him to cast all the spells he knew one by one.

"Dancing Light spell!"Harry pointed with his hand and a human shaped figure of light appeared in front of him in a bright looking color, officially the spell that had once scared Desiree's soul out of her body.

"Shocking Electricity Strike!"A thin bolt of lightning appeared, striking the target with a charred black dot, the same spell that had been used to clean up the red-haired twins on top of that train. Harry then demonstrated "Flash Spell," "Horezkole Choke," "Brightening Spell," "Frost Ray"Horezkole Choke", "Brightness", "Frost Ray", and the "Secret Seal" and "Magic Trick" of the General Purpose Department.

Even now, Sherry was still shocked by Destiny's Child's talent, being able to reach this height in just two years, and being able to cast eight tricks without interruption. It had already reached, the spiritual requirements of a first level spell caster. But the mage's leveling exam did not only look at spiritual power, but also analytical and learning abilities. Compared to a level zero juggling spell, the difficulty of a level one magic spell was incomparable.

"Good, you didn't lose those things."Sherry educated, "Never underestimate any spell, remember there are no useless ... spells."

"There are no useless spells, only useless mages."Harry snaps, "I've remembered it all teacher, don't worry about it!"

"Alright then, let's continue what we didn't finish last time, the first Plasticity Department level 1 spell you're going to learn - Magic Missile."With a thought, Sherry drew out a stream of energy from the magic net and formed a circular ball of energy according to a specific one spell structure, floating between him and Harry.
