4 Chapter 4

Jounin were actually not that busy as I had thought before. Take me for example , I did not go to the mission center for two weeks already but there came no complaints or anything like that.

Now I think that Jounin were like a department chief in a company. They had more responsibility compared to lower class employees but had more leeway too. The same as my daily life.

Of course as a shinobi, I would have to answer to direct calls from Hokage or my squad leader if I had any in future. Aside from that , I had way more freedom that I had thought before.

There existed a quota for missions and I would be fine as long as I followed that. For example , I had to complete only ten B rank missions in three months as per quota of a newly appointed jounin. Come to think of it , this should be normal because I was not much well known or powerful enough for Hokage to assign missions to me personally.

As for me , I properly used my time and did not step out of the village even once in these two weeks. My time was mainly spent on familiarizing myself with the techniques inside my head and touring the village in my free time. My favorite spots were Hot springs district and of course Ichiraku Ramen.

A dip in the hot springs after a session of training was the best and the water really did its work to cleanse my fatigue. Then a few bowls of Ichiraku ramen to fill my stomach really made my day. Well this became my daily routine though.

Now I could say that I could use the techniques inside my head in actual combat but it was also true that I needed a lot of battle experience too.

A man wearing a simple grey yukata was eating ramen with gusto while beside him a blonde kid was going the same with more gutso.

The man was me and the blonde kid was Naruto. I finally saw the main protagonist in person but was immediately speechless at his ridiculous appetite.

' How can he be so short when he eats this much? ' this was the main question waving inside my mind right now.

Naruto was already at his seventh bowl and still did not show signs of stopping anytime soon. I wondered where did all that food go anyway because it seemed impossible to fit all that inside his stomach.

Still the kid really ate with a blissful expression on his fox whiskers face. I could not help but steal glances once in a while at him and looks like he noticed that.

Suddenly he stopped eating and stared at me with his pure sky blue eyes.

Naruto - Occhan who are you and why are you looking at me ?

A tick Mark naturaly appeared on my forehead hearing that insane comment. So I could not help but hit Naruto's head with my fist of love.

Me - You brat !! Its onii san not Occhan..

Naruto - ow... ow.. that hurts!!

Looking at the exaggerated performance of his , I started to get more annoyed but decided to suppress it because I knew that this brat was a mischievous one and liked to prank others all the time. Even Hokage was his regular victim much less the poor me.

Me - Tch.. stop acting kid or I will really get angry this time..

Naruto stopped immediately. I guessed that he was convinced by my stern tone. Well he was really not a bad kid after all. I decided to chat with for a while as I had nothing major to do now either.

Me - Oye brat..

Naruto - My name is not brat. Its Uzumaki Naruto , the future Hokage dattebayo!

Me - Oh? You want to become Hokage? Haha.. not possible. Do you what are things most important for a Hokage ?

Naruto - I know I know. Hokage is the strongest shinobi in the whole village who is respected by everyone.

Me - Hehe.. silly kid. It's the opposite. It's TRUE that Hokage is the strongest. But one can only become Hokage if his strength , personality and records are recognized by everyone in the village.

Naruto - Ehh.. isn't it the same?

Looking at Naruto trying his best to understand my words , I could not help but chuckle when I remembered that this kid was actually not that smart.

Me - Dont think that much kid. Just remember my words and you will definitely understand in future.

Naruto - Okay. Ne ne onii san , what is your name? Are you a ninja ?

Me - My name is Kitamura Aoki. Yes I'm a ninja and I'm sure you will become one soon. See yea.

I answered while leaving money on the table and used body Flicker to leave the stall. This trick of disappearing with a Cloud of smoke was really a cool one. Well I was sure that Naruto would be impressed by it considering his simple personality..

I wanted to chat a little more but decided to leave because I could sense some gazes locked onto me. Well I could not care less about the crowd but those hidden anbu could become a problem. I was sure that someone was already on the way to Hokage office to report to him about my brief encounter with the jinchuriki of Kyuubi. Sigh.. I really hate this shit.. Let's hope that I would not be summoned by old man Hokage for this little matter..
