Chapter 3

When having fun , one really does not have much sense of time. I looked at the charred training ground around me and could not help but smile.

I started in the morning but didnt even realise that the sun was already about to go down. The new experience of chakra , ninjutsu and the expectations for future , sometime outweighed my urgency and before I knew it , my focus was only on having fun with spamming jutsu in my knowledge.

Thus the pace was very fast compared to my initial expectations and I was already about thirty percent through my whole arsenal. Still right now my body was experiencing some internal pain because of side effects of taking soldier pills back to back to replenish my chakra quickly.

My chakra capacity was not that great but it was still low jounin class and that was really big compared to chunin who could barely use one or two B rank ninjutsu back to back.

Now my pain was becoming annoying so I decided that it was time to leave for today and my next destination was already decided. It was Ichiraku Ramen! Maybe I could see Naruto there too.

Two things about Konoha became clear to me that the technology in this world was too confusing and the village was very big. It should be called a small city instead.

While leisurely walking , I could see many type of people. Some were foreigners with black or some other skin colors and many other type of people came in and out on daily basis like for example merchants.

When I watched the anime, only ninja were the scope of my focus but now I was becoming slowly used to see all type of people in the same place. On this note , this world was not that different from Earth where people traveled globally easily using all kinds of transportation.

Here though the means of transportation seem to be limited. I only saw some horse carriages belonging to merchants while rest of the people travel on foot.

In my past life , until middle school I was too used to cars and the like but now traveling on my own feet was a novel experience for me. After all I had been hospitalized for many years straight and even walking took great effort on my part during that time.

Now I had the feeling that the world was big and I could go anywhere on foot as long as I was willing to. Such simple desire could only be understood by few people who had to experience same hardships as me.

The roads of the village were wide and comfortable to walk on. I admired the difference in architecture while also keeping an eye out for any character I could recognize from anime.

I passed by all kinds of shops and one was called Yamanaka Flower Shop. This one was no brainer as it definitely was the one which Yamanaka Ino and her clan owned. Sadly I did not see the member of Rookie 9 there.

From what I could gather , most of the shops had some kind of logo etched on their signboard belonging to a clan. I guessed that the shops belong to clans and were rented out to civilians for doing business. Well this made sense to me because such property of Konoha was surely divided among clans like Akimichi, Nara etc. These were just passing thoughts though as I did not plan to focus on business for now anyway.

The walking lasted for about twelve minutes and I could finally see the infamous Ichiraku Ramen stall few meters away from me. The seats seemed to be full but well.. I could always wait for a while for delicious food anyway..
