Chapter 20

Kakashi had no choice but to change his impression of Aoki by now. He had completely lost the previous exchange and deeply sensed that Aoki was even stronger than he had shown in that exchange.

Especially his skill with the sword and those wind blades sent a shiver on Kakashi's spine. Aoki had not attacked him with the wind blades but Kakashi's instinct which he had shattered after experiencing countless life and death battles , screamed that he would die if he got hit by even one of them.

After displaying his sharingan in open , Kakashi immediately initiated the first attack. He threw a smoke bomb and retreated tens of meters back in an instant using body Flicker jutsu while throwing several kunai at Aoki's vitals.

Aoki was naturaly not affected by the smoke but he did not do anything and let Kakashi retreat. As for those kunai ? They were easily squared by one swing of his sheathed sword.

Aoki could see with his mind's eye skill what Kakashi was doing and could not help but feel excitement whirling inside him. There was no time to waste so he immediately kneaded some wind chakra inside his body and blew the smoke away with his breadth. His mastery with Wind Nature transformation was almost perfect so this feat was simple for him.

The vision was now clear and Aoki could see with his naked eye that Kakashi had already finished the preparations for his unique jutsu " Chidori ". The blue sparks and the bird chirping sounds excited Aoki because he could see the technique with his own eyes.

Now both of them knew that the battle would be concluded after the next exchange. Kakashi's killing blow was Chidori which he could use to deliver killing blow to his enemy relying on instant explosion of pure speed and the powerful dynamic vision of sharingan with which he could easily make sure that he did not lose control while maintaining high speed which exceeded his own rewction speed.

On the other hand , Aoki did not possess such flashy techniques but his sword skill with which he could easily cut steel plus his sharp wind chakra coating made his attacks not much different than sure kill techniques of others.

In Kakashi's sharingan vision , he could see Aoki's movements too clearly in slow motion. His opponent used simple use of wind chakra to blow away the smoke but Kakashi had enough time to prepare Chidori too.

Then he saw Aoki grin and unsheath his sword and take a casual stance while holding his sword with both hands up in front of him. Aoki was ready and chose to take on his attack head on.

The moment was there and from now the battle would be of pure speed , precision and power. So no tricks would be needed. Kakashi took a breadth and kicked the ground using body Flicker jutsu to close the distance from Aoki in an instant.

Aoki also exposed in speed using the same jutsu at almost the same time as Kakashi. So both of their attacks met mid air. Both their bodies looked like they would collide soon but that did not happen and they started exchanging attacks in the mid air. The first blow failed, then the next and...

After landing on the ground , Kakashi immediately thrusted his hand coated with Chidori towards Aoki's stomach but like the previous exchanges , Aoki timely parried the attack with the least required strength with his sword.

This time Kakashi had to admit that Aoki's strength could actually rival him or he may be even stronger than him. In one second alone they were exchanging more than one blows but Aoki could always parry them with ease.

Kakashi's sharingan vision could let him see Aoki's movements better so he could tell that Aoki wielded his sword like it was extension of his hand. He had coated his sword with thin but extremely dense layer of pure wind chakra and could easily contend with his lightning chakra of Chidori. Kakashi even tried to use genjutsu using eye contact with his sharingan but it also seemed to have zero effect on Aoki.

At the same place both of them had exchanged countless blows in the span of almost one minute. Kakashi was already sweating as it was taxing on his chakra to use sharingan for long time and the crazy movement of his body were taxing on his stamina. On the other hand Aoki's breadth was somewhat heavy but he did not even have a drop of sweat on his face. The vitality increased after taking the body remodel pill, had provided him much greater stamina than Kakashi.

With his mind's eye, Aoki could see that Kakashi's chakra was depleting too fast and at this rate it would last for a minute or two at best. He had already seem the infamous chidori and confirmed from the several exchanges that his reaction speed could also keep up with the insane speed attacks of Kakashi. So it was time to end the battle.

Thinking this, he kneaded some wind chakra and took a strong step forward with his right leg. The next moment , the ground cracked under Kakashi's feet but he was also in the air. With his sharingan, Kakashi could see Aoki's movements in slow motion and deduced his plan in milliseconds.

Still Kakashi was too late as Aoki's sword covered with wind chakra was already placed near his unguarded neck while the right hand which was coated with chidori was squatted away by Aoki's let hand as he had attacked Kakashi's shoulder in the instant when Kakashi jumped into the air.

Kakashi's body fell on the ground with a thud and produced a cloud of dust. He could see the sharp sword of Aoki baring its edge at his throat while his right shoulder was throbbing with pain. Kakashi knew that he lost so he relaxed the strength from his body and the glowing chidori dissapeared and his right arm fell on the ground in next instant.

" Yield ?" He heard Aoki's voice and just subconsciously nodded his head while being lost in thoughts.

Aoki on the other hand sheathed his sword and stretched his arms which produced crackling sounds. " It was a nice fight. " After saying that Aoki just sat down there on the ground and started calming his breathing while listening to Dargon's breadth who was complimenting his sword play through their connection of spiritual energy.
