086: A Bat Girl

Everybody atop the deck was tensed up as the War Bats colony approached at great speed.

Morgan, however, wasn't a fool who'd shot the war bats before they entered the effective range of the cannons.

"Wait for it…" The captain drew his sword, lifting it over his head to give them the cue.

"Now! Shoot them at will!"

As those War Bats had entered the effective shooting range, volleys of cannon balls hammered upon them. Hundreds of arrows rained from above, decimating these blood-thirsty creatures one by one.

The War Bats might be small and insignificant in individual strength. However, these dog-sized flying mammals weren't a dumb species.

Their coordination in mid air resembled that aang of thousands strong schools of fish in the ocean.

They dodged the cannon balls and maneuvered the entire colony with such agility.

"We can't hit them, captain!"
