Ch 97: Father of Hydra (2/5)

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Resounding reverberations rang throughout the Golden Peaks. The clouds parted ways, and an equally tall peak with a fortress built on it was revealed in the distance. 

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! 

From the fortress flew giant winged creatures, majestic and formidable, with expansive wings that shimmered with a metallic sheen under the sunlight. Their bodies were covered in scales that were like armor, glinting in a myriad of colors, and their eyes glowed with an otherworldly light.

A person sat on the back of each winged beast, appearing minuscule in comparison to the massive beasts. 

It only took a few flaps of their wings to cover the distance between the two peaks.

These beasts were too big to fit on the cliff and were ordered to fly around it as the people sitting on them leaped off their backs and landed on the cliff.
