Ji Yao's eyes widened suddenly when she received the phone call, her five fingers clutching the cell phone tightened abruptly, nearly breaking into a cry.
"What did you say? How could my mother possibly...!"
At this point, her voice stopped abruptly in her throat; nothing else mattered, the most important thing now was to go to the hospital and see for herself.
Arriving at the hospital, she did indeed see the lights on in the intensive care unit.
