9 Training compleate

2 years passed since Ryuu, Erin, Mikasa, and Armin enrolled in the military, their training is soon coming to an end but right now in 850 Ryuu and his group were running in a simulated mission designed to prepare the trainees for real-life combat and missions

It was raining cats and dogs making the dirt road into a mud road, this made for very unstable footing so along with the annoying rain and stamina drain that everybody is experiencing form the running the road has become slippery as well

Keith was also running alongside them in a hoarse belittling the slow ones while mocking and taunting everyone by taking the easy route and riding a horse

Ryuu is at the forefront running before all of them Ryuu did train more than anyone after all but that does not mean he isn't working up a sweat

It's exactly because he trains more than anyone that he has to carry the most gear and has the most things to do and alhou Ryuu is strong his body still hasn't fully grown besides that Ryuu works more on his explosive power than his endurance so with all the obstacles it's pretty hard for Ryuu to move

His extra heavy skeleton which sinks into the mud does not help the situation but even with all of the Ryuu has worked up only a little sweat, not like some people who are running behind him

The next day things got changed up and everyone used their 3D maneuvering gear to zipping around the whole forest

Sometimes fake Titans made out of wood would spring up and somebody had to slash at their fake necks which are made out of leather kill them

It isn't enough to just cut the neck you also had to cut deep so that the fake titan would surely die that cupeled with the fact that you have to move thru the forest at high speeds makes everything much more difficult

But to Ryuu, those are not the most difficult obstacles what is an obstacle is that his 3D maneuvering gear cannot support his weight so Ryuu has to always infuse his 3D gear with his hair in such a manner that ist visible yet strong enough to sustain the string

Besides that, the 3D gear does not have enough power to push him forward so Ryuu had to kind of pull the strings with his hips putting an even bigger strain on the string

But it has already been 2 years since Ryuu has run into these types of problems so this has become more of an inconvenience than anything else

While the training was going on Keith their instructor was sitting on a branch and observing everybody how they performed, giving his assessment on them in eveveryspect

At some point, there came 4 titans but before anybody could slash at them they have already hacked to pieces no literally their heads fell off their bodies, it cut thru the wood while only a shadow of the perpetrator remained that was of course Ryuu

If anyone else tried this they wouldn't succeed but with his weight added behind his slashes as he descends down and inhuman strength to Ryuu this is just childsplay

'Ryuu no last name excelled at everything, the instincts of a wild animal, has a sharp mind and powerful body a genius like never before. He has a wild attitude but that is exactly what he needs in a battle aside of that he is very responsible and cares for his teammates making everybody trust and rely on him. The best of the best is the only way fitting to describe him' Keith has a very high opinion of Ryuu as he has been with them for the past 2 years and Ryuu is the most amazing talent he has ever seen

So Keith looked onward and gave his assessment on everyone

Next came hand to hand combat practice where Reiner and Eren we were sparring partners noticed Annie slacking off so Reiner somehow convinced Eren to fight Annie

Eren naturally lost, even with Ryuu's training is still a knucklehead and Reiner followed in Eren's footsteps but next Eren brought the person he knows can beat anybody that is Ryuu for a fight with Annie

"I won't be fighting." Ryuu didn't complicate it too much, he doesn't really feel like fighting and told them up straight that he won't be fighting

"Ahh come on why not?" Reiner asked with disappointment evident in his voice, he was hoping to see Annie get a good thrashing or rather he was hoping for some payback, or see Ryuu get his ass kicked so at least Ryuu won't be perfect at everything

"Because I can't fight" Ryuu's quote was short but simple and it dumbfounded Eren, Reiner, and Annie as well, Ryuu stole this from a book he once read where a guy couldn't fight he could only kill so Ryuu wanted to be a little cool in front of everyone

"It doesn't matter you just have to beat her." Eren was the first to think of a solution and exclaimed, he wanted payback and only Ryuu can provide him with the type of payback he desires

"Well, I can try." Ryuu gave up he knew if Eren wanted something Eren would get it so he might as well do it, the example of this is titas he kills any titan he can

Soon both Ryuu and Annie were seen standing against each other while the other people created an arena around them as they too wanted to watch the fight

Ryuu held the wooden knife in a backward grip in his right hand while facing Annie while Annie took a boxing stance against Ryuu

The seconds slowly trickled down while Anni and Ryuu were staring down at each other until Ryuu's wild personality flared up and he made the first move

He moved madly fast at Annie's left side trying to stab her with his right hand but she tried to block it atlas it seems she just didn't pay enough attention to Ryuu as his hand just moved thru her block like a knife thru tofu and struck her in the ribs well at least he didn't break anything he punched her gently

Suddenly his left hand became a blur and he stabbed her beneath the ribs into the liver but the knife didn't pierce the skin since it's wooden but it accurately hit the liver making Annie wobble in pain from her arm, ribs, and liver

Ryuu followed that up by choking her neck and swept his feet making her fall in the same position Eren fell in with a knife quickly landing near her cheek making a small stream of blood appear which is impressive since it's a wooden knife

"You are right Annie everyone here is playing a soldier that's why I said I can't fight its because I don't know how to fight" Ryuu commented, this one he basically ripped out of the cool guy book of secrets

Ryuu walked away with his back turned one everyone and didn't look back to see the wide eyes of both Annie and Reiner

At dinner time everything was peaceful except Jean(the guy who is in love with Mikasa) and Eren getting into a fight which Eren peacefully dissolved by kicking Jean's ass

After all, ng Ryuu's friend does have some benefits and his training as Ryuu's friend made him very strong, not Annie level of strong but strong enough

After that Keith came because he heard some loud noise which was the one-sided beatdown Eren gave to Jean but Mikasa blamed that on Sasha letting out a fart

Soon it became graduation day for the 218 recruits who are all lined up in the middle of the night in front of a platform

"You have all just graduated and there are 3 paths open before you. The Garrison who protect the walls, the Military Police who serve the king and do work in the Inner district of course only the top 10 graduates can get into the Military police, and lastly the Survey Corps who fight titans on their own territory." As the man finished his speech he scoured the crowd with his eyes and they landed on the top scorer Ryuu

"Solider why isn't there a first on your heart!? Are you not loyal to the king!?" Indeed instead of doing the standard military salute, which is a hand behind his back and a fist on the heart Ryuu had both of his hands behind his back

"Yes, sir I am not loyal to the king!" Ryuu yelled out with gusto and a tone filled with confidence

"Solider how dare you do such a thing! Explain yourself now if you don't want me to deny your right to be a soldier!" The man was dumbfounded when he heard Ryuu's honesty but he soon became furious that somebody would betray the king

"It is simple sir. I serve mankind not a king nor a noble. I will enter the Survey Corps a reclaim our lost lands so what is more important? Humanity or some king who will die in the next 50 years?" Ryuu's answer was simple but it wasn't honest it was just something Ryuu thinks is stupid swearing aligence to the king when you would sacrifice the king for making it just doesn't make sense

'Idiot I don't serve anybody. I don't know why I was reincarnated into exactly this world but since I was I won't be serving anybody.' Ryuu was an Otaku in his past life and that ruined him, he became a servant to his own insecurity that's why he is going to change this time

Hearing his answer the crowd and the man stayed silent it is indeed true that a king will die and be replaced but humanity must go on

"Alright, then soldier then you are going to the Survey Corps!" The man finally responded after moments of silence remembering the speech Ryuu gave about joining the survey corps

"Sir thank you, sir!" Seeing that his plan was accomplished Ryuu continued standing with his arms behind his back while having a slight smirk on his face

Later in the mess hall, everybody was celebrating cheering and talking joyfully, after all, good food and alcohol is what makes happy people

"Why? You know we already lost 20% of humanity to them! Humanity doesn't stand a chance!" A shout was heard and people turned to see Eren talking with a blonde kid or rather being in a heated argument with him

"So? That is because humanity doesn't know enough about titans. With each defeat, we know more about them to quote my friend" Eren's response was quite fierce but at the end, he took a deep breath before remembering the quote Ryuu once said

"Our flag, the flag of humanity doesn't fly because the wind blows it. It flies with the last breath of each soldier who died protecting it." As Eren began saying the phrase another voice came from behind them, it's Ryuu's voice

"That's a quote I made in peacetime but it still holds true today." Ryuu came behind them with a mug of alcohol in his hand

*Booom *

An explosion went thru everybody's head, Ryuu their top graduate can fight well is smart, he is academically and physically perfect, he is handsome and has a good attitude and now he can also say poetry what kind of multi-talent is he?

Eren, Armin, Mikasa, and Ryuu walked out to gaze at the stars while everybody was dumbfounded, once the four walked out they saw a sky full of stars

"So you are also going to join the Survey Corps?" Eren first spoke up and directed his gaze at his longtime friend Ryuu also the strongest person he knows

"Yes, I want to fight the Titans and make a difference," Ryuu responded with another one of his trademarks smirks on his face as he gazes up at the stars

"Then I will join the Survey Corps as well," Mikasa spoke up next surprising Eren but just as he was about to yell out for her foolishness Armin spoke up

"I too will join the Survey Corps. I don't care if I die but I will fight back." His words really surprised Eren, Armin is not as meek as when he was younger but he still isn't that brave of a person

"Why? I can understand Ryuu this has been his goal from the beginning but why you too? Armin your smarts could be better used and Mikasa you are the 2 best graduate. You could easily get into the Military police so why?" Eren is confused, he doesn't know what his friends are doing especially Armin and Mikasa they could be having a much better life while inside of him he just doesn't want them to die

"I will follow Ryuu. If he goes to the Military Police so am I. If he goes to the Garrison then so am I. If he joins the Survey Corps then so am I. Besides if I and Ryuu didn't come you would die an early death. I don't want to lose more of my family." Mikasa soon answered Ryuu is her only family while Armin and Eren are her only friends if they die she has no reason to continue living so she might as well join them

"I don't want to fall behind! I don't want to be stuck somewhere while you guys risk your life! I will be coming with you, even if you don't want me to!" Armin said with determination flashing thru his eyes

Eren doesn't know how to respond, this is just madness they could all be doing something better with their lives but them he felt warm inside of him, he won't forget this moment for life

"Well, then it seems we all have our goals. Let's accomplish them all in the future." Ryuu said as he sits down on the floor and they just silently enjoy the rest of the night gazing at the stars
