10 Chapter 9 - Family meeting

Drake (dad) POV

I am staring on my friend Jin at moment in my office. Waiting for him to state his reason on his visit in my working hours.

" Don't look at me like that. I need to talk to you about your daughter and it is important that's why I came here." I still keep my stare at him for him to proceed. " I was planning to scare you daughter as a revenge on you, by giving her entrance exam for elementary." I can't help but to raise my eyebrows on what he told me." But after I look on her papers, if I am not on her side as she answers those test papers I might not believe it either, for your daughter to answer them all correctly." as I heard him, I feel so proud of my little princess. " I talk to Chairman Leo about this matter. He wants me to tell you that if no other student on kindergarten can be put in elite division your daughter might be accelerated to elementary elite division because staying on kindergarten might hinders Aira's growth." he pause and then. " Be careful, he is also on his gossiping mode. He wants me to investigate on what you let your children do or eat to become like that. Now that I am done on my business here. I will be living first to meet your daughter for our lesson. Bye." Just like that he left without even letting me speak. I only sigh . Never mind at least I know my daughter is awesome, she just need to have more confidence on herself. Need to work fast and return home.

At our home

After our dinner, I asked everyone to go to my office in our house. It's time to have heart to heart talk.

My wife is sitting beside me, and I am holding her hands as a support since I am not that good at talking to my children in this way.

" I want to talk to you all for some important matters. Alec as the older brother I want you to watch over your siblings specially when all of you are in school. Alex listen to your brother. Aira I got good news for you, Prof Jin inform me that you pass his test which means you are guaranteed to pass the real entrance exam, so stop worrying and just concentrate on your gymnastics and studies. You all might think why martial arts are add on your schedule?" I look on my twins, they are both nodding their heads,I give them a smile and continued " We decided that in order for us to properly protect you all is by letting you learn how to protect yourself. I am repeating myself to be clear. TO PROTECT YOURSELF. means it is not to be used on bullying or hurting other people for some etc thing. Are we clear?" I stare at my twins and wait for their reply.

"We understand dad" both of them said in unison. And I gave them a nod with a smile.

" Dad but what about me, I dont have martial arts classes?" my little princess ask me.

" You see , my little princess , since you are still young, you will only learn few self-defense moves from Shizuka that can be good combination with your gymnastics class but when you turn 8, that is the start of your martial art class." I explain to her. Then she smile at me saying I am the best ever. So happy to have such lovable daughter.

" Now for the main reason that we are here is to discuss something that is related to you my dear little princess. I believe you all notice of her skill specially when it comes on memorizing things and everything. It's because you have a gift and that is called photographic memory. We want you be able to cope with it as you grow up and can manage to adapt to used it when your outside of our home. I don't want to see you sad of being different from others so we never tell you before so that you can do whatever you want here but now you are going to school, you need to know and learn it properly so that you know when and how to used it because outside of our home is like battlefield, you can have enemy all over around you. This ability maybe a blessing or curse if you don't know when to use it. You may not understand how cruel the world is, but I want you become a person who have a good heart but a strong mentality in facing your obstacles in life."

She is so cute. Listening carefully to me and she look like she understands me. How lucky I can be to have such children. Maybe from our genes.😏

"Ok father, I will not tell anyone about my ability and used it in my advantages." Aira said with a big smile on her face.

" Don't worry dad, we will protect her outside especially from pests. They need to get our approval first, then after that it will be your turn. I do believe you know what I mean, right dad?" Alex said. I give him a nod and smile.

" We will be watching her so don't worry." Alec pat my shoulder.

Thank you God for this family. I need to protect them properly. I will not tell them about the Hunters ( the name of the elite group of the family) that will be watching them in the shadows. I am more relieve this way.

I never knew that I will be using my authority this soon. Hunters never obey orders from any member of our family. They are trained by the family but it will be their own decision on who will they going to follow and give their loyalty with. Our housekeepers and even the personal attendants of my children are my Hunters. Other that them, I never mobilize the other Hunters but now I need them to do this to protect what must be protected at all cost.

" And lastly, I want all of you to tell us when you have problems and if something are bothering you. We will be here listening and ready to give you all our advices to help you. And always remember we are here to support you. We love you our dearest children." I said to them and giving them a bear hug.
