41 Volume 1 Afterword

Dear readers, Volume 1 - The Beginning, was concluded in Chapter 40. 

I would like to inform you that the next volume will start next Sunday, allowing me a few days to create the chapters for the next volume.

Now that we've got the notice out of the way, let's talk a bit about my experiences as a new author, and also my request for your help regarding the continuation of the story.

To be honest, when I started posting the fanfic, my idea was a story of rapid progress that wouldn't be too long. We often see fanfics that we never see the end of or are simply dropped, and so, I ended up creating my fanfic thinking that it could serve as an ending for so many other wonderful fanfics full of ideas that we read, but never see a conclusion.

In my mind, I thought, 'Whatever I write, they've already read. We just need that ending.'

But then my eagerness and haste were met with requests to slow down.

And I must admit that I am grateful for that. I started to slow down in the chapter where Yao appeared, and many of the fun experiences like the wedding where Stan Lee appeared, the war against the Kree with music, the cute experiences with Rocket, and the entire What If line and fighting against Ultron were me slowing down because otherwise, in Chapter 40, we would already be in the Avengers movie timeline.

And it was amazing, you all were amazing.

My initial idea of a quick and short-lived fanfic, without much fuss, became an idea to create a story that makes you smile and arouses your curiosity and surprise.

And I think I achieved a little bit of that each time.

Unfortunately, the beginning was rushed and silly. Maybe one day I'll finish this fanfic and rewrite the beginning.

I wrote rushed romantic interactions at the beginning not because I'm stupid and don't understand relationships, but because so many complications went against my initial idea.

This ended up leaving many people irritated and abandoning the fanfic, but I like to think that those who comment and enjoy the recently released chapters today are the ones who persisted, those who dug a hole while expecting to keep finding mud but find silver (I won't call my story gold hahaha!).

Well, that's it. I thank those who read this little Afterword, and now I ask for your help with the next volume.

From the chapters that I have written, which were created before I posted the fanfic, the next chapter is a jump of 8 years. And I imagine it's not going to be cool to do that.

I thought of some intermediary chapters, like Pepper's birthday, which would show a bit more of Tony and Pepper, while mentioning the company and how it is currently. It will be written in a fun way, with a kind of The Office vibe.

Another one I thought of is about the Iron Brotherhood. I can't say what they're doing, as it's a spoiler, but it's there that Tony would meet a person that many of you keep asking about.

Maybe one about some exploration with Carol.

One is about a father-son moment with Rocket and the other little ones.

And maybe one about a request from Uatu or a trip to another universe for some reason.

These would be the chapters that would cover this 8-year journey.

Now, please give me ideas for inventions, or what you want to see me write and show you. Give ideas to complement the chapters I mentioned as well.

Oh, I also wrote a Christmas special about Rocket's first Christmas. He and Vision go alone in search of presents, but they have to discover the real meaning of a Christmas gift, and for that, they will rely on the help of an old man that I and all you punks love.

I decided to store this chapter and present it as a flashback on Christmas hehehe. I hope to still be posting chapters until then.
