The Iron Brotherhood ended up serving more purposes than I initially thought.
For instance, another thing they helped with was using their influence and strength to mitigate the problems that the cancer cure brought to the company. They had to do this with other good companies as well to avoid suspicion, although there was still distrust from many people.
After all, the sudden and simultaneous appearance of a large group of enhanced humans and the cancer cure was a bit suspicious. But these were easy repercussions to handle.
Speaking of the cure, I felt really good about it.
Every day, the company's PO Box was flooded with thanks from people who had suffered from cancer.
The price of the cure wasn't cheap, as something too inexpensive wouldn't be appreciated. However, I didn't make it difficult for those who couldn't afford it.
I simply allowed them to pay in installments over up to 40 years, making it extremely affordable for people. Of course, you had to prove that you needed such a long installment plan. Additionally, if you couldn't even afford that, there were quotas for payment waivers.
With so many benefits, I would likely face scams, but I didn't mind because, besides not lacking money, the Extremis treatment was virtually cost-free for me

Why not give it away for free? Are you crazy? People don't value what's free. Well, let's not argue about that.
As I was saying, it's good to do good.
My parents also called and said they were very proud of me. It's no surprise that my mom expresses her pride in me, but my father's praise is surprising. Well, not that I need it, but it's nice to receive approval from the old man. See what happened there? My mom, who always supports and praises me, didn't have as much of an impact as old Howard praising me. Like I said, people don't value what's free. Well, I still love my mom more. Take that, dad!
[Sir, the family I was ordered to monitor is fleeing after stealing and setting fire to a sector of the Shield.] JARVIS suddenly alerted me. "Oh, is it that time already? Time flies!" I exclaimed and checked the date... 1995.
"Will you go personally?" JARVIS asked.
"Hmm... nah. I'm too lazy to deal with normal humans. Sent suits, drones, and stealthy nanobots to gather all the resources, personnel, and data from the red room. Once everything is unearthed, send as many suits as necessary and capture everyone. You can use the Iron Brotherhood if you want. When it's all done, let me know." I ordered.
Well, it looks like we're at the beginning of the Black Widow movie. Even though I'll probably have a romantic relationship with Natasha and Yelena in the future, they're still children, so I'm not very interested in saving them personally. Although I will meet them in the future.
I was about to get back to my work when JARVIS spoke again.
[Sir, a spaceship is approaching Earth.] JARVIS said in an alert.
"What?! Are these two things happening at the same time?! JARVIS, show me the images." I exclaimed in surprise, then ordered.
A hologram appeared in front of me, along with some dusty memories.
This ship must be the Skrull ship that Carol will use to arrive on Earth.
"Well, I have to go there personally." I said with a smile forming on my lips.
[Should I inform Miss Pepper?] Jarvis asked.
"Let her know that I'm going out to handle some things. Maybe I'll only be back tomorrow." I said, without thinking too much.
Pepper will understand. I'll explain to her later.
My standard suit appeared on my body, and in the same instant, I became invisible through the activated camouflage.
The roof above my head started to recede, creating an opening.
Basically, I turned my entire house into nanotech, so I can exit wherever I want.
My thrusters were activated, and I flew at high speed.
"Jarvis, what's the status of the ship?" I asked inside the suit as I flew.
[It just exploded.] Jarvis informed me.
Information HUDs began appearing in my eyes. I observed images of escape pods being ejected and the ship's explosion.
I saw a malfunctioning escape pod among them.
Without hesitation, I mentally manipulated the information to find the coordinates of the projected landing of that escape pod.
The predicted landing coordinates were at a Blockbuster Video store.
Accelerating to the location, I arrived just in time to see the pod descending and breaking the blockbuster ceiling. Shortly after, a beautiful blonde woman emerged from the movie rental store.
I approached her without making a sound and stored my suit. She was startled, feeling someone appear by her side out of nowhere. Quickly, she turned and threw a punch at me, but I dodged it, grabbing her wrist and tossing it aside. Without giving her time to react, my other hand held her shoulder while the hand holding her wrist pulled her arm back. One of my legs unbalanced her, and soon Carol was pinned to the ground with her arm held behind her by me.
Her fist began to glow, and her face turned red with anger.
"Hey, girl, calm down, I'm not your enemy." I said with a wry smile.
"If you're not, why did you attack me?" She said, and the intensity of the glow in her hand didn't decrease. It increased.
"Tsk, it was you who attacked me, okay?" I clicked my tongue and quickly manipulated nanobots to emerge from my hand and wrap around hers.
The nanobots absorbed the energy from her hand and released it harmlessly outside.
"Okay. Stop with the light show, Ziggy Stardust. If you stop, I'll let you go." I said teasingly.
"Who's Ziggy Stardust? Are you a Skrull? You better kill me now because if I get free, it won't end well for you." Carol said, practically snarling at me, full of anger, while struggling to break free from my grip.
"Look, I don't know what this Skrull you're talking about is, but I'm 100% human from Earth, and I'm here because I detected the destruction of your ship, and you were the closest escape pod to my location." I explained while immobilizing the glow in her other hand, which she tried to attack me with, earning me another furious look.
"My name is Tony Stark, and as long as you don't intend harm to Earth, I'll let you go." I said seriously, looking her in the eyes.
