Chapter 8:The man I am waiting for
(10 hours after Jack leaves the village)
(Unknown girl POV)
Becoming the elf queen is not easy for me. The peace and well-being of my people is my responsibility. "Stop the queen's chariot. We have arrived at the village." a knight announced.
The door of the chariot opened. One of the male knights held my hand, and I walked out of the chariot. All knights escort me. I walk through my people. They start cheering. They throw the flowers into the sky. They look so happy. I hear them talk about me "My beautiful Queen, I almost crazy when I see her face, My god"
I smile at them. Saw my people happy I should be happy But some things deep down in my heart aren't happy at all. It fills with sadness. I have endured such feelings for more than a hundred years. It is because I waited for a man that doesn't exist at all.
I keep walking through the people. I went to my childhood friend's house. She is a village chief. I stop in front of her house. She starts greeting me.
"Your hightness. Sorry, we don't know you are coming here today. We will prepare everything quickly for the queen today. Don't worry my Highness" she said
"It's okay. I want to stay at your house this day and visit my old childhood friend that you know whom I talking about" I said
I look at the knights. I told them to gourd outside. I grabbed the village chief hand and entered the house together.
A knight close to the door. I regained some of my composure. I hugged the village chief and then spoke"I miss you so much, Mira. it has been so long"
"Me too" she replied.
"Now we are alone. I want you to talk to me normally, not formally" I told her
I sat on the pillow and said "It's almost fifty years since we last met. I still remember this place"
"I know it too. But you are a queen and I am your people. We are far different." she said
"I don't care we are friends. Nothing can't change it" I replied then asked her "Can I ask something? Did anyone come here?"
"yes, yesterday we had a couple come here. a human and a goblin," she said.
"Oh! I think they will go to the city for the festival tomorrow like me too!" I said. Then I get up and ask her "I will go upstairs to the room that we used to when we are kids. I want to remember that day" Then I walk to the stairs. she follows me
I reach the room and open the door. I enter the room. Mira spoke behind "This room was used by a couple who came here yesterday"
I dropped my knee. my heartbeat pounds fast all of a sudden. Suddenly my heartbeat pounds fast. My heart had never felt like this before. The smell in this room smells the same as what I dreamed of fifty years ago.
Mira started running to call my knight. All arrived at the room. All of them look so worried.
"What happened to you? Did someone try to hurt you? We will protect you" a knight said.
"No...! I am fine," I state " I need to take a bath"
My body still shaking for no reason. I walked to the hot spring water.
I change my clothes. I got into the hot spring water. Strangely, something like this happened to me. I look at myself on the water. I started remembering that dream from my childhood.
(100 Years ago)
When I was a kid. I don't have any friends. Furthermore, I am a member royal family. He is a strong knight. My mom is an elf queen. I have lived in this village with my father for a while. When I lived I felt so lonely. Until one day I had a dream.
In the dream, I saw a man who looked at me. Then began to tell him about my lonely life. Then smile at me " You should try to find a friend. Not too quietly like this. I think if you act kind and more confident you will find a precise friend"
After he said everything becomes blurry. I saw his face and then I woke up from the dream. Then do like what he said. I met Mira and we became best friends
49 years later I was chosen to become a queen. I left the village with my father. It was the last time I saw Mira.
I arrived at the castle. I met my mother. We also started the ritual to transfer her position to me. She took me outside the castle and announced to everyone around the castle I was the new queen.
Now I stand in front of All of them. I promise them I will become the strongest leader and make them happy. The Cheer Began to Echo.
But one thing that is on my mind I still waiting for the man that I was dreamed of. He is the one I fell in love with from the first sighed

I walk out of the hot spring pool. I wear my white dress. I went back to Mira's house. There, I saw an old man. He asked the guard to meet me. I told them to let him.
"Hello Mike it has been so long you're old now" I said
"Yes, your Highness. It has been so long for me. too" he replied.
"Did you have something to show me right?" I ask him
"I am an artist. And I want to show all my work" she replied and showed all the pictures he drew.
I look at them one by one. They look beautiful. I can tell all his work is a masterpiece. He shows all his work until the last picture. My eyes wide open I can't believe in my own eyes. It was pictures of that man.
The tears flow out of my eyes. All the pain I have endured now ended. I wipe away my tears and ask him "When did you draw this picture?"
"I drew it yesterday and the man in this picture came here yesterday with his wife. Did you know him?" he replied
Without saying anything. I grabbed the picture and ran to the room. I close the door. I look at the picture. My mind went crazy and it filled with lust. I said "Now.....I found you, my sweetheart. I will make you mine, Even if you already have a wife. I will get rid of her just wait for me, darling"
I hugged it tight and then I kissed that picture "JUST WAIT I NEVER LET SOMEONE SEPARATE BETWEEN THE TWO OF US"
