Chapter 3: I got my first friend in the new world

I look at that little girl. She called me a little human."Hey, I am not little. I am bigger than you!" I said. "Geez...ok ok. You are bigger than me" she replied then jumped to the ground and started staring at me from the foot to the head. It made me a little nervous.

She starts to ask me"What are you doing in this forest?". "I just lost my way in this forest " I explained. She asks me again "Who are you? You seem not the resident here. You wear clothes I have never seen before. You look strange". "Yes. I do not live here. I am a traveller" I nodded.

When I look at her. I noticed something strange about her. She has sharp ears and wears a green dress and a leaf skirt. I ask her

"Hey, you are not human. right?". She replied" Yes. I am not. I am from the goblin clan. What the matter"

"oh! Okay, I'm just a little surprised" I nodded. "And thank you for helping me earlier" I state. "No problem. I only rescue you because I don't want to see your corpse left here. "Okay," I replied. She gave me a reason to help me like she just wanted me to die out of this forest.

I started asking her "Can I ask you what's your name?". "My name is Judi and what's yours?" she asks me back. "My name is Jack Mathew. But you can call me Jack," I stated

Now I'm starting to think of something. I'm not a person here and I know nothing about this world. I should ask her to get a place to stay." Hey! Can I stay at your house for a few days?". "Yes! You can stay at my house for as long as you want. I do not mind," she replied. I hold her hand and begin to say "Thank you so much, Judi". I saw her face become pale red.

At that time I let go of her hand. " fine...."She said, turning her face away.

I started following her through the forest until I reached her village. I saw some wooden houses. There are a lot of goblins here and they are all female. I ask Judi "Why are there no male goblins here?". "Yeah... It's because the males in our race are rare. We have a low rate of giving birth to a male And other monster girls just like us too". "Huh! The other monster girls too...." I said. "You don't know what kind of traveller you are." she replies."Ugh! That's enough Let's get going " I made an angry face. She giggled "Yes let's go"

We continue walking after having a short conversation. While walking, I noticed everyone in her village staring at me. It makes me a little embarrassed. I just turn my head down while walking. When I reached a Big wooden house Judi said"Hey! This is my house. Wait here for a moment I will go to ask my mom she is the village chief so that you can stay here." She said and entered the house.

Now I waiting outside her house. I feel all the villagers still keep staring at me. Some female villagers started to approach me."Hey boy, do you want to play with me tonight?" female A said. "You should come to my place, don't come to that old woman's house." Female B said.

Suddenly Judi shouted," Jack, come in My mom wants to see you". "Okay, I'm coming" I replied. I let out of the women around me and entered the house.

When I entered I saw Judi and a little girl sitting down on pillows." Sit here," the unknown little girl said. I did what she said. Judi began to say " Jack! This is my mom, Luna". What! At first, I guess she was her sister but it was not. She is Judi's mom. I should respect her.

"Your name is Jack, right?"Linda said. "Yes..."I nodded. "So it's fine, Now I allow you to stay at my house but not for free. You must work for my family. The job is easy. You just take care of some animals outside my house and do some housework. I know you can do it right" she states. "Yes, I will do what you want. Thank you so much for letting me stay here" I began to say happily.

She turned to Judi and said, "Judi Find an empty room for him to stay in"." Yes, Mom. Jack! Now follow me I will guide you to your room!" Judi replied.

Judi stood up and walked to the upstairs. I followed her until she pointed to the room and then said "Jack this is your room if you want anything you can call me. Okay," She turned around and walked downstairs but I stopped her and said, "Thank you so much, Judi, for everything you did for me today". Her face turned red "It's fine now I'm going to prepare dinner just stay here". I replied "Yes, goodbye"

I rest in my room and think about myself. I got my first new friend in this world by accident. She even helped and let me stay here. From tomorrow I will work to repay her for helping me." Ah! I love this place already"
