2 System of darkness
Inside Leo's mind, A small dark ball is floating in front of him. Leo who is sitting down on the floor is looking towards the ball.
'Hmm...So, you want to be powerful?' the ball spoke in a hoarse man's voice. Leo nods keeping a face of anticipation. The black light starts hovering around Leo. It moves in a circle and says ' To be honest. You still haven't reached the requirements to use me.'
Just as the voice utters those words Leo's face suddenly darkens. He clenches his fist tightly and lowers his head. Which makes it unable to see his expression.
But again the ball stops circling and says' Hmmm..But seeing how diligently you are working I can give you have a discount on the requirements.
Leo's face lights up with anticipation and has a slight smile on it. He says' Really? I swear if I can use you I will do anything you ask for.'
The black ball has the power to make Leo stronger, far stronger than now maybe even the strongest.
The ball again started to move around and the voice continued ' Can you torture a person to death? Have you ever killed anyone? Can you kill someone of your own kind so cruelly that even the demons will fear?'
Hearing those barrage of questions Leo froze for a moment. Hesitation was printed all over his face. But again, gritting his teeth he says in a confident tone' If that is what you want then I swear I won't back off. But I won't do it if the person is close to me.
By close he meant sia who was her childhood friend and her parents who were very caring to him. Sia's father was the one who taught him how to fight and her mother would always tend to his wounds after he got into a fight. Sia's family always took him as their own family.
The black ball laughs loudly and says ' I won't. But hear this, if you won't be able to kill the person I tell you to kill, then you will die instead. But if you won't use me nothing will happen.'
' We will be the same as we are. You come to me and cry telling your difficulties and I laugh while hearing them'.
After hearing those words Leo clenches his fist tightly and says ' I will use you and do everything you ask for. I will do anything to become stronger. I still haven't forgotten about my promise to revenge for my parents. So, please let me use you.'
Just as Leo finishes those words he is kneeling with his head on the floor in front of the black ball. Tears are dripping on the white floor beneath him.
Seeing his condition the black ball says in an excited tone ' Well done, boy. You have proved your worth to use me. I am called the system of darkness. And I will make you the strongest person in this whole world as long as you will provide me with enough negative emotions.'
Hearing his words Leo wipes his nearly dried off tears from his face. And a grin appears ' I will.'
' Good. Then, wake up!' the voice says as space starts to fall apart.' Let's meet outside.'
Leo slowly moves his hands and abruptly opens his eyes. His wounds on the back are completely healed. Only the hole in his clothes remain.
He picks himself off the floor with a wide smile on his face. He says "System".And put off thin air a semi-transparent screen appears.
[ Congratulations! You have successfully activated the system of darkness.]
His smile only widens after reading it and says ' Come on, You don't need to do these things just start speaking.'
[ You are as impatient as always, eh?]
" Of course I am. I finally got to use you after so many years," he says in a nostalgic manner.
[ Yeah.Yeah. So, what do you want to check out first? Store? Stats? or Mission?]
Leo puts his hand on his temple and thinks hard for a while. And with a smile, he says " Show me my points."
[ Sharp as always, eh? Here you go.]
Just as the voice speaks another screen pops up in front of Leo.

[ Fixed Points: 10,000]
[ Total points: 80,500]
Seeing these many numbers Leo's mouth was wide open. He rubbed his eyes a few time to see if it is real. And realising it is real he starts laughing loudly.
[ Oye, Keep it down. You are laughing like an anime villain]
Leo stops laughing and an awkward smile appears on his face. And after scratching his head for a while he says " Upgrade my stats and buy the important spells, items and portions which are compatible with me."
[ Are you sure? It may completely absorb your points.]
The system said in a reminding manner.
Leo smiles slightly and says " Do it. I will earn those points back once I become stronger."
[ Quite confident, aren't we? Okay then, Don't regret your decisions later. Once bought cannot be refunded. You know that right?]
" Just do it, damn it." Leo says in an annoyed voice." I still remember all the rules clearly."
The system does not respond and Leo immediately knows that he had started his work. Leo starts walking towards his room which is on the second floor.
First Floor has a kitchen, a guest room and a sitting room. While the second floor has his room, a reading room and his parent's room which is vacant. But everything is still cleanly managed by Leo.
He enters his room. His tables cleanly managed his shelves with neatly arranged books and his perfectly managed bed. Some miscellaneous things are on a nearby shelf and an alarm clock on his table near the bed.
Leo changes his clothes and wearing a white plain vest along with a trouser of black. He walks towards the shelf of miscellaneous items and moves it towards another direction.
Just as the wall behind the shelf is exposed. Many photos of people are pasted on the wall. And every photo has a number written on it from 1-12.
Leo touches the photo with number 1 and tears it from the wall. With a cold expression on his face, he speaks under his breath" Here comes my revenge, Mr Pursuer." A grin appears on his face as he mumbles those words.
He is lost in thought when the system startles him.

All of a sudden, the grin on his face disappears while agony surfaces. In a blink of an eye, he feels like every ounce of energy is squeezed out from bis body. Being unable to stand he falls down on the ground on his knees.
He starts feeling like as if his whole body will blow up any second. But biting his lips he tries to bear the pain. Boom, A small wave of energy escapes his body. It indicates he has broken through to another tier.
But once again, slowly the pressure builds up but this time it is even more than before. All the veins around his body start to pop up and are about to burst. And just in time, once again the energy escapes his body. Making him a tier-4 wizard.
And the cycle continues, Leo knows in the back of his head that if he gets unconscious and is unable to suppress the pressure.
The only thing remaining will be his pieces of the body after an explosion. He does his best to hold on even after such immense pressure and overflowing powers.
At last, he finally breaks through to tier-6 wizard. Now only one tier remains. He curves himself and makes himself a ball. Yet, again the power starts to overflow but this time the power is much time greater than all combined from before.
He starts to shake like crazy and blood starts to appear from his nose and ears. His lips are oozing out blood from all the biting. The energy slowly starts to increase by many folds.
' what is happening?' He is panicking inside. The pressure is so immense he is about to blow up.
Just as he thinks he is about to die the energy escapes from his body forming a wave. The energy wave creates chaos inside his room. Everything is on the floor. Books all over the place, Bed is naked with no matrix on it and so on.
He slowly picks himself up in a weak manner. He is still feeling dizzy from all the pressure and sudden increase in energy.

Leo takes some time to process through all the information. And after reading all the message and hearing the system he smiles happily.
[ You are low in mana] Appears in front of Leo. And as he watches the message.
[ Here, take this mana bottle. You have 120 more in your pocket.]
A small blue coloured bottle materializes in front of Leo. He catches the bottle and after observing the bottle closely. He confirms it and gulls down the liquid.
All of a sudden, he feels full of vitality. And all his fatigue disappears. He says' Status' with eyes full of expectation.

Leo goes through everything and a smile of satisfaction appears on his face. He is feeling like dancing all night long after seeing all those skills and stats but he refrains himself.
Although crafting and cleaning isn't necessary for him but there is nothing he can do about it. So, instead of wasting the.skills, he starts using the cleaning magic which he has seen being used by Sia's mother. So he tries to use it and becomes successful.
He just needs yo use the spell on the particular place and the dust will be automatically extracted and will disappear into thin air. He starts to clean his room and manage at the same time.
Just as he finishes doing his little chore he gets a message.
[ Time to fulfil the promise; Kill the pursue of your mother using into pieces torture method.]

Seeing the message instead of fear an excited look appears on Leo's face.
Anyone can tell that he is getting excited to use the new skills he acquired. And at the same time take revenge for his parents, by killing the sole reason both his parents left him.
' How lucky! Hitting two targets with one stone.' he thinks as he leaves his home with a wicked smile on his face.
