Bustling Petalburg City

The distance from the ruins to the town of Oldale Town was not far, and Yuga arrived there in no time.

What made Yuga happy was that there was finally transportation from Oldale Town to Petalburg City. He wouldn't have to rely on Route 11 anymore.

Without lingering in Oldale Town for a moment, Yuga boarded the bus headed for Petalburg City and arrived there in just a few hours.

Stepping out of the bus station, Yuga sighed. Originally, it would only take a day to travel from Littleroot Town to Petalburg City, but he had spent nearly two days.

Yuga walked through the streets of Petalburg City when he suddenly noticed a large crowd of people heading in one direction. He found it strange and stopped a passing teenager to ask, "Excuse me, has something happened up ahead? Why is everyone heading in that direction?"

The teenager looked surprised and said, "Are you new to Petalburg City? The Marina Group is performing here, and it's been going on for several days. Many people go to watch it, and it's absolutely amazing!"

Yuga asked in puzzlement, "The Marina Group? What is that?"

The teenager gave Yuga a dumbfounded look, as if he were seeing someone with no knowledge, and then said, "You don't know? It's the Marina Group, the famous Water-type Pokémon performance Group!"

After saying that, the teenager ignored Yuga and joined the crowd.

A Water-type Pokémon performance Group? Is it well-known? Why haven't I heard of it? Yuga began to doubt his own knowledge.

Curious, Yuga followed the crowd towards the location of the Group. He wanted to see what was so special about this Group that it could captivate so many people.

Yuga hadn't reached the area yet, but from a distance, he saw numerous large light blue water spheres floating in the air. Inside these spheres, various Water-type Pokémon swam happily.

There were groups of Wooper, pairs of Gorebyss and Huntail, and clusters of Luvdisc, among others. It all looked incredibly spectacular.

Just this sight alone was intriguing. Water spheres floating in the sky? What was the principle behind this? Yuga wondered if Primarina was controlling them.

With questions in mind, Yuga arrived at the location of the Group.

Inside the massive water sphere surrounded by a crowd, a man and a woman were wearing peculiar costumes, swimming in the water with Water-type Pokémon. They would occasionally leap out of the water sphere and fly into the sky.

The Water-type Pokémon inside the water spheres would jump from one sphere to another, creating a highly entertaining spectacle.

Yuga took a closer look and realized that it was a Medicham and a Medidite using their psychic to control the water spheres and swim with the humans. Due to the similar light blue color of their psychic energy and the water spheres, it was not easy to notice.

However, both the Medicham and Medidite were undoubtedly very skilled, as they could control these massive water spheres. Without powerful psychic abilities, these spheres would have fallen from the sky long ago, let alone constantly changing their formations.

The onlookers were cheering and applauding for this amazing performance, and Yuga couldn't help but applaud as well. It was undeniable that this Group had the ability to captivate people.

At that moment, Yuga suddenly spotted three familiar faces in the crowd. His eyes lit up, and he walked over, calling out, "Aunt Caroline!"

Caroline, who was watching the performance with May and Max, was surprised to hear someone calling her name. She turned around and saw Yuga standing not far away.

"Yuga, you finally made it!" Caroline said in amazement.

Professor Birch had informed them that Yuga would come to visit, but they hadn't seen him all day yesterday and were starting to worry that something had happened to him.

May and Max also waved and greeted Yuga, calling him "Big Brother Yuga."

Yuga made his way through the crowd and approached Caroline. He ruffled the heads of May and Max, saying, "I ran into a little trouble on the way, so it took me longer."

Since Yuga had arrived, Caroline considered heading home instead of watching the performance. However, seeing how reluctant May and Max were to leave, Yuga suggested they watch the rest of the show before going home. Caroline reluctantly agreed.

After the Group's performance ended, it was approaching evening. Yuga followed Caroline's family back to the Petalburg Gym. At that moment, Mr. Norman hadn't returned home yet due to work.

Yuga hadn't brought any gifts with him, so he took out a portion of the Sweet Honey he had obtained in Amber Castle as a gift for Caroline. In reality, most of the Sweet Honey had been left for his Snorlax to consume. The quantity he had brought wasn't much, originally intended for his own use, but he decided to share it since the Combees in the Ecopark had started producing honey again, so he didn't mind.

Honey made by purebred Combees was relatively rare, especially in Hoenn region, so Caroline was very pleased to receive the Sweet Honey from Yuga.

In the living room, Yuga accepted the teacup Caroline handed to him and asked, "When does Mr. Norman usually return from work?"

Caroline looked at the clock on the wall and replied, "Usually around this time. Lately, there has been a lot of work with the League, so as a Gym Trainer, he's always busier than others."

Just as Caroline finished her sentence, they heard the sound of the door opening.

"I'm back!"

Entering the room, Norman spotted Yuga sitting on the couch. He exclaimed with surprise, "You finally made it! We were starting to worry that something had happened to you!"

Yuga apologized, saying, "I'm sorry for making you all worry."

Norman hung up his coat on the nearby rack and waved his hand, smiling. "As long as you're okay."

Since Norman had returned, Caroline, May, Max, and Yuga chatted for a while before Caroline headed to the kitchen to prepare dinner. Norman joined Yuga in the living room.

"By the way, how's your Magikarp doing?" Norman asked.

Yuga smiled and replied, "Thanks to your help, my Magikarp has successfully evolved into Gyarados. It's in great shape now."

Norman nodded, saying, "I knew Birch would find a way."

After all, being lifelong friends, Norman was well aware of Birch's abilities, and his reputation wasn't just for show.

Since Yuga had come all this way, Caroline had prepared a sumptuous dinner. It delighted May and Max, and they ate to their hearts' content, leaving their little bellies round and satisfied.

The dinner was a joyous affair.

Later that evening, Yuga spent some time playing with May and Max, as arranged by Caroline. Following Caroline's arrangements, Yuga stayed at the Petalburg Gym for the night.
