5 Floor 2 (part 2)

This time he tries to throw a dagger with full force, but another problem arise. When the dagger was about to reach the Gem, it got deflected as if there was an invincible wall that can't be penetrated. A Shiny Red-Colored Message box pops up in front of Leroy's eyes.

"What, then how am I supposed to complete this floor!"

Leroy thought that he is really going to die of exhaustion now as the gems are protected by the system directly.

He thought of giving it another try. But because of the slimes which were attacking him, he was having a hard time aiming it.

Coincidentally, when he throws his other dagger at a slime, the dagger penetrates through it, and there was a spawn gem behind it.

This time it hit the gem, but the power wasn't enough to break it.

"Huh? What just happened? "

Leroy just couldn't think of the reason, right at the point. He thought of doing the same thing again when a slime and a spawn gem are in the same lane.

After some time...

"This just doesn't make sense! How come not a single time my attack reaches it"

"Did it literally measure the effect radius?"

He realised that it didn't help in any way.

"What will I do after knowing it eve-"

Noticed a detail in the message.

"Objects that are capable of doing damage, that means it doesn't apply for everything. Now it makes sense why at the beginning I was able to hit it."

Having restrictions on a particular type gives the advantage that you can use anything until it is an object made to do dmg. There is another flaw in the system of "Tower of Gods", when the system sees that an object is coming towards another object which is protected by the system, it only checks the object it is going to touch first.

In the case of Leroy, we see in the beginning that the dagger hit the "System Protected Object" because it pierced through the slime. That means it must have been covered in slime, and following the way the system checks, it saw that slime is not an object that is capable of doing damage to the "System Protected Object" that's why it let the dagger pass through the magic and hit the gem. Even though it was a powerful dagger, being covered in slime decreased its stats overall, which made it not capable enough to destroy the gem.

In the case of the other daggers, the distance between the dagger and the gem was the problem. After seeing the way he was able to hit it, it started to keep a huge distance between the slime and the gem. Right after the dagger pieces through the slime, a huge distance is left between the gem and the dagger, which gives enough time for the slime to fall off the dagger because of the air resistance/air pressure on the slime over it.

"This is going to be damn hard by now, I am lacking in stamina and mana also."

He started to think of a way to reduce the consumption of stamina and mana.

"Wait I do have a weapon enhancer skill !"

"Use skill <The Weapon Enchanter>"

[What is the enchantment?]

"Physical Enhancement Light Weight"

He started to feel that his weapon had become a lot lighter than before.

"Now it is going to be a lot easier to move this sword around."

He gets the most minimal distance he can make out. After that, he dips his sword into the slime, which was already dead and was just a lifeless normal slime.

Now his sword was covered in slime. Before it falls off the sword, he jumps up and is right in front of the Spawn Gem.

He swings his sword at his full strength then.

*Scatter*

The gem was in pieces...

<E- Erro- Systems Error->

"Heck yeah! Just like that, destroy everything!"

Leroy continues to destroy every gem like this.

After some time...

<<Sys- System Erro- System Error>>

"Got so much stuff even though I don't what to do with these fragments, but someone f*cking cut off my limbs!! It fucking hurts like hell. "

After doing something over again and again, he over-exhuasted himself and depleted all the stamina and mana in his body. As a after effect, he is facing extreme pain in his whole body, especially in his hands and legs.

"I feel like I might die now."

He started to feel that something was weird.

After moving his head around and checking his surroundings a bit, he noticed that there was no system message saying that "you cleared floor 2". That means something more is left.

Suddenly, he remembered that he had totally forgotten about "Ben".

"F*ck, I totally forgot about him, where the heck is he now?"

The room was a mess at that moment. Everywhere he would look, he would only see pieces of those floating platforms in crumbs on the floor.

"Did the man got buried along with the slime?"

After a while, he stands up from the ground and starts to look around. When he didn't find any sign of 'Ben', he started to scratch his head.

"I mean seriously, why?"

Out of nowhere, he got stabbed from behind.

*Garak!*

When he looked down, he saw a blade.

'A sword… wait no it is a sword made out of slime...

"Did you seriously think that you cleared this floor?"

Leroy turns back and sees it was Ben.

"You... you are a slime?"

He replied, "Yes, I am."

Leroy tries to do a full swing, but Ben jumps back.

*huff* *huff* *huff*

"f*ck, I should have killed you right after I met you there."

"Even if you regret nothing can be done, you know?"

'I have to do something he does, but I already have a big wound on my body'

Ben comes rushing towards Leroy after forming his hands into a blade. Leroy gets himself into a stance with his sword and closes his eyes, then concentrates all the mana he had left with him at that point into his sword.

"I will just finish you off with my slash."

Ben says, while grinning, "In your dreams."

Leroy opens his eyes and *slash* x4

<<User is in critical condition>>

*cough* x2

Leroy was spluttering blood. He was in a bad condition. His arms sustained significant damage from the Blade of the Boss Slime; if it had gone any deeper, he would have lost both of his arms and died.

*cough* *huff* x3

He looked back and saw that the head of the Boss Slime's head was separated from its body. Now the separated body has turned into a colorless slime.

"How… You were supposed to die! "

"But I have my Sea Serpent's Sword...

He slowly walks towards the head and stares at it, saying "Seems like you are nothing if a large portion has been separated from the main portion of your body."

The head turned into a small blob of slime. Struggling to move away from Leroy.

"Let's finish this forever now."

He holds his sword vertically against the slime and then thrusts it through the slime, killing it.

*stab*
