48 The things we have done should not consume us

Loren and Nelson had set their duel to happen within 5 days after that was settled the two part ways.

"I wish it was me dueling with that shit big brother, I would have love to rip him apart."

Angelina tells Loren as she thinks about it.

"That would be a nightmare of a thing to happen as Nelson wouldn't have a chance against you and besides I can't allow that He hannah brother."

"We can make it look like an accident." she suggested with a wicked smile.

"No, that is not a good idea to say Angelina right now I have no reason yet to remove him." Loren said.

She got disappointed, but that soon changed when Loren patted her head.

"Aw come now do not make that face, I like it better when you smile as it shows off your beauty."

Angelina got embarrassed when Loren said that as she turned her head aways from him.

"Thanks… big brother." Angelina said as he laughed at the way she was acting right now.

"Anyway, I do have something I want you to do as of now."

"What could it be, big brother."

"I want you to inform Cecelia and stay with her as I will be paying her a visit tonight after I have checked in on my guest."

"Understand big brother, I bet she already expects that and what you are going to do when you come."

Angelina left his side after saying that while Loren on the other hand made his way to the room the blacksmith and his daughter were staying.

"I best see how those two are doing."

Diloar SwordCaver arrived in front of the room Josefina was in within the brothel.

He gave a respectful knock waiting for an answer from the other side.

"Yeah who is it." Josefina asks.

"My name Diloar SwordCaver, I work with Loren and I have come to speak with you by my master order."

It took only a second, but the girl answered him.

"Alright come in." she gave him permission to enter with a not happy tone in her voice.

He enters only to soon see Josefina wearing clothes smaller to the girls who work in the brothel.

It shows off a bit of her body.

"I can't believe I have to wear this for now because it makes me sick." she complained.

"Be glad you are wearing clothes at all and beside, I think my master would like what you're wearing."

"What!?." Josefina was shocked to hear him say that as she blush.

"I saw the way you were looking at him." Dlioar SwordCarver said, smiling a little.

"That's not the reason why I was looking at him because of what…. You know what, never mind just get to the point while you're here."

"Right, I came to speak about your role as the new and only guard here, I will assist for sometime as you will need it. my master will find ways to gather more to work as guards here then you have the choice in leaving or staying."

Josefina takes the moment to think to herself until speaking again to the elf Diloar SwordCarver.

"You know that guy what was his name again oh right Loren, he seems awfully nice to be offering me a job here along with giving me the chance to leave whenever I want. Yet I find this too good and makes me concerned about him."

"There is no need for that. The reason he acts that way is because of who he truly is."

"Ha yeah right like I suppose to just go along to what you say also I find it funny that an elf is calling a human master. I thought your people were all too prideful and mighty for such a thing."

Diloar SwordCarve should be bothered by this, but he is not in fact he doesn't care and Josefina notices that.

"Interesting you're not going to say anything to that, I am impressed." Josefina

"It is because I find such a thing a waste of time, now we should get moving to speak with the rest of those working here."

"Great so much more talking has to be done, I rather just be left alone in this room. I am sure you don't actually need me to be there."

"I thought it would be nice to include you, but if you wish to be alone then I will honor that."

Diloar SwordCarver walks himself to the door, but before he opens the door Josefina grabs his attention.

"I don't trust him you know even if Loren is the way he is, I play along for now, but by the end I am out of here you hear me."

He didn't respond back, just opened the door and left, leaving Josefina alone as she wanted.

"I better make sure that I am ready for whatever this time."

"It's going to be alright dad, you'll get better soon and we can go back home."

The blacksmith daughter sonya said while holding her father's hands as the man lay on a nice bed inside the castle.

She soon hears a knock at the door.

"Fuck who could be." she said out loud without thinking.

"Well that will be me, the nice guy who brought you and your father here to be safe from the thugs that are bothering the two of you. Beside that, I just came to check on you."

Loren informed her that standing from the other said smiling a little bit.

Sonya singh, she wanted to be left alone with her father, but it seemed that was not going to happen.

"I take it you're not going to leave, so you better just come in then." she tells Loren.

Loren enters seeing her being close to her father's side not trying to hide an annoyed expression on the girl's face.

"I take it that you are not happy about me being here." Loren said standing close by the door giving her some space.

"Oh really what gave that away because as right now I am bursting with happiness that you're here to visit us."

"What reason have given you to act in such a way toward me, I show you nothing that gave off a threat to you or your father."

"And I should change it because of that, let me make it clear to you that it is not happening."

Right then the room became silent the two of them didn't have further words to say to each other.

Loren thought to just walk up placing a hand on her shoulder.

"Look my name is Loren and I would love to know your name."

"Get your damn hands off me!." Sonya yelled strongly, smacking Loren to fall onto his back.

"What the hell!." he said, but he had to quickly act before feeling the girl's powerful foot stomp into his stomach.

Lucky in time he was able to move anyway as it landed hard onto the floor creating cracks.

Loren was impressed as well fearful of Sonya power because right at this moment the girl was no longer herself.

"Shit not good could the way she is acting right now be of some sort of trauma in the past."

Not enough time to come up with an answer as Sonya threw a punch his way.

That required him to block instead this time dodging yet Loren felt it would have been best that way.

Loren block didn't work out well as he felt the power of that girl punch sending him flying against a wall.

At the sametime cough up blood onto the floor.

"Well…. That's what it's like to be hit by an Orc even if she is half of one." Loren thinks.

He slowly got back up with a little blood coming down the side of his mouth.

"Alright…. Let's talk here before things get further out of hand here." Loren tried to reach her, but that was not doing anything.

He decided then it best to fight this out hoping maybe then there will be a chance to talk.

If Loren had enough time to not die by then as she slowly walked towards him in a scary and threatening way.

"Sonya! Stop." a loud voice called out to her.

Both of them turned their heads to the blacksmith the man was up surprisingly as he should be still resting.

"Father, you're awake." Sonya was no longer in her rage state and beck to normal.

"Yeah I am up and not happy at what I am seeing do you have any idea what you are doing girl."

She soon became shameful at what she had done, not making eye contact with her father or Loren.

"Do not be upset with her, I might have overstepped in some way to anger her and I am not blind to see that it is something personal yet dangers here. I am going to need you to explain this to me, a blacksmith."

Before any other further talk can go on the door was busted open as two guards came in focusing on Loren.

"Princess Loren is everything alright we heard some noises that didn't sound so pleasant here."

One of the guards asked.

"It's fine just a little misunderstanding that happens no need to be alarm." Loren tells them.

Yet it didn't seem like those two were convinced.

"Are you sure pr…."

"As I said everything is fine now, would two gentleman kindly leave, we need privacy and oh keep this to yourselves, I would hate to have to find out this was spoken about meaning I would have to deal with the one's that talk."

No need to look at those men as they quickly left the room afried.

Sonya and her father didn't miss the way Loren was threatening those guards that just left.

"Alright beck on topic now talk." Loren asks.

The blacksmith sigh as this was something he hoped and wished to never speak about again.

It doesn't affect him so much, but his daughter on the other hand a lot more.

"My name is Theron and that is my daughter Sonya. We used to live in a Village far from here. Our life was normal for a time until the people began treating us differently, well more to my daughter then me, she was targeted by the people."

Theron looks at his daughter Sonya who is not facing anyone, he can tell that she is feeling sad from hearing him telling this painful part of her life.

"No one wanted to do anything with her, only bully the girl making sure that Sonya knew she was different and unwanted. one day the boy's from the village decided to try something more hurting than what they normally do to her."

Theron takes a moment before going on talking.

"They took Sonya outside far from the Village where no one can see what those boys were going to do. I had a feeling that something was wrong on that day and was right when informed about what was going to happen to her. I ran as fast as I could, but it was too late to stop it."

"You mean they had their way with her, I am sorry for that to happen Theron."

"No those boys never got that far because they were dead and Sonya was the one to have ended their lives. I then knew that the two of us had to leave everything behind not looking back or stopping because if we didn't, well you know what would happen."

Loren looks at Theron then to Sonya.

"A sad thing to hear, I thank you for telling me as it wasn't easy, I am now going to leave you two alone as the both will need it at this moment. Make sure you get some rest Theron, I find a better time to talk with you."

He tells the man then starts walking towards the door, but before opening it and leaving Loren turns to Sonya.

The girl was still not facing

"What you have done couldn't have been easy, we all did something that we ourselves can not forget, but that doesn't mean it has the right to consume us and keep on reminding us."

Saying that Loren left with no longer means to say any longer, once he was gone Sonya quickly ran into her father's arms and began crying.

Theron made sure not to say anything and only hold his daughter in his arms.

Cecelia was in her room a little nervous or to say worry while Angelina was there enjoying the way she was acting.

"Oh what wrong Cecelia, you seem not yourself." she asks, unable to hold back from smiling.

"Shut up Angelina, I know that you are having fun with this because Loren is going to come here all angry at me for what I have done."

Cecelia takes a moment then talks to Angelina again.

"Was he mad when you spoke with him." she asked.

Angelina right then grew an idea in her head to have some fun messing with her.

"Oh dear sister, you have no idea how Loren feels right now, he was not so happy to hear what you have done and now big brother has taken care of this annoying problem that you the only person created."

"What? It is not even my fault it's all that bitch princess wrongly going into Loren's room without permission."

"And what about you, I see no differences when you were secretly going into his room to do your little thing."

Cecelia right then started to blush red when Angelina brought that up as it seemed Loren wasn't the only one to know of this naughty hobby of hers.

Lucky she knows how to make sure that this demon girl doesn't tell anyone and that was the help from sweets.

"Hey I pay you to be quiet about it with what you like, I don't need you to give me a lecture."

Cecelia tells her while at the time Angelina starts to laugh, but right at that moment the two soon stop when the door begins to open.

Both turn their heads awaiting for Loren to enter, but it was not him that they expected.

"Hey girls what the hell is going on here."
