Chapter 2: The escape.

Liam was yet to get out when they heard hard bangs on the door

" It must be them. Hurry up and use the back door. " Said the old woman.

Liam bowed before them and then ran away with the baby. As soon as he was out the soldiers pushed the door open and stormed inside to find Aurora's body and the women.

The could see that she was just from labor.

" Where is the baby ? " The croup leader asked commandingly.

" We don't know..." Said the old woman.

" Hi...you think we are here for jokes ? " The leader asked and before the woman could say anything the leader removed his sword and cut her throat to death.

The other women screamed in fear on seeing this.

Tell us now !!! The leader yelled when they heard noise outside and rushed to find Liam who had ran a distance.

The greenery men always used nature as their power and on seeing this the leader used his hand to control the vegetable around. He used his hand to make the grass rise and formed it into long ropes and when this was done he threw them to Liam.

They trapped his legs and in the process he fell down but put his hand around the baby to protect her from harm.

The man smirked and then pulled the ropes making Liam drag himself along the ground but then since he was from the fire tribe he rubbed his fingers and produced fire from them that burnt down the rope. After this he managed to get up on his two feel as he held the baby in his hands.

The greenery soldiers now all combined their powers forming a green smoke like circle formed around them. The used this force and pushed it towards Liam .

When he saw this coming he also used his palm to collect all the forces around him that made into a red smoke and he pushed it them.

The two forces collided and all burst releasing a strong force that pushed all of them to the ground violently.

Liam knew that he wouldn't survive this so he got up immediately to leave.

The other greenery men were groaning in pain when they saw Liam again.

" After him...!.." The commander commanded and they got up to follow him.

The other got up and tried to run after him but he was very fast. As Liam was still running, He met another group of greenery solders and they all trapped him between them.

He looked sides wondering where he could run to at the moment.

" We just want that the baby . we are not here to harm you

" The commander from the other group said.

" I wouldn't rather die. Than allowing you kill my child. " Liam said not willing to give up yet.

" Fine....Watch you nothing die. " The commander from the first group said and the men attacked Liam again.

What Liam did now he held the baby very strong in his arms and when the first solder attacked with a punch, Liam dodged by bending and then gave the soldiers a kick in his knees making him to black out.

The second one attacked with a sword almost cutting off his neck but Liam dodged that by moving away slightly and gave the man a fist on his chest that had his fire super natural powers.

The rest combined their powers to uproot the plants forming them into ropes to send to him but Liam saw this and jumped into space to avoid them and he spread his palm to release powers that burnt all the plants down and this made most of the soldiers to fall again.

The commander now stepped forward when Liam was down again and before he could land very well the commander also released an arrow that stabbed Liam on his chest.

The arrow in the process ran across the baby's cheek and left some blood on it.

Liam groaned in pain when he felt the arrow enter him and blood came from his chest and mouth too. Though he was still holding the baby tightly in his left arm.

" Give uo before yoy both die.

." The commander yelled.

Liam looked at them and smiled.

" What now ?? " They asked.

The commander then saw Liam spread his palm and there was some energy moving around him this time round it like white.

" What is that ? " The solder who was near the commander asked.

" It looks like Tornswind. " The commander.

" Isn't that that only used by those born with extra powers from the god of wars. " Said the commander they were all getting worried.

When the arrow cut across the baby's cheek, it actually went with some blood from the baby and when it entered Liam the blood from the baby entered too. This gave Liam the extreme superpowers that now enabled him to collect this energy called Tornswind.

And this baby had been born with prophecy already. The three shooting stars had appeared with the full moon.

The soldiers knew that this exactly the baby they needed to kill. They had been just killing all the babies born this night but now they knew this is who they were looking for.

" This is the baby we are looking for. Attack...!!!! " The commander commanded but before they could attack a very strong wind started coming slowly from the energy around Liam's arm

The wind became strong and stronger starting to blow their clothes and when it became very strong when Liam spread his palm to them and it blew all of them away and pushed them very hard to the ground.

Liam also didn't understand where he got this power from and he looked at his hand surprised.

He then remembered that he still had to run away and walked away as he couldn't run with the pain he was feeling from his chest that carried an arrow.

He walked slowly in that night to someone distance when he stopped near a river and then looked baby.

This was just a magical river that was actually aboundary path to the human world.

Liam looked at the baby and then removed some small bottle from his pockets.

He opened it and poured it into the baby's mouth and after this he placed her on the river.

Immediately the baby disappeared and when Liam saw this he smiled.

He couldn't move anymore and after this he also fell to the ground and lie asleep.

He was actually dead. But he died happily that he had saved his child.
