While Alice had just finished her day off with Jon and William, Mason was taking a break after the fight with the goblins.
Although he was not tired, he did not have any mana left, and with his 4 mana stats, it would take him nearly 5 minutes to recover each mana stat. According to the God of the System, this recovery time would increase exponentially along with every 5 mana stats.
While Mason was having dinner with Fort Night and the rest of the nights, who had already become close to him not only because he was a respected mage, but had also helped them to defeat the goblins, Jack, the god of the system was focusing on something else.
Currently, Jack had nearly 25 CP, out of which he had spent 20 CP on gaining a new skill [Basic Water Bullet] which he had graciously given to the new member of his player following, adding him onto the debt group, which now had no-one other than himself.

Jack was rather satisfied with the new addition he had created. Although Heron's current state was beyond pathetic, his stats and skills showed that he was actually rather strong. He would at the very least be able to wipe the floor with the current Alice and current Mason by just relying on the strength of his body and its speed.
He would just ram him massive 8-foot body into Alice and crush her under his immense weight of a few hundred kg. [1]
On the other hand, Heron could just keep his distance from Mason until Mason expended at least 2 of his 4 Wind bullets, and then just dash into Mason killing him instantly since Mason would not be able to move away.
And after the skills given to him by Jack, Heron was undoubtedly the strongest of Jack's players.
The person is question, Heron, was utterly baffled by the number of messages. As he was scrolling in his mind, he came across something amazing.
His 'arts' were declared to be skills and displayed, along with the skill he was lent. It was this very skill which intrigued him.
'Water bullet huh?' He though to himself as he followed the imprinted steps to perform the skill from his mind. However, just as he finally managed to curl his furry fingers into the shape of required, he turned and pointed his hand, which was trembling from to having enough energy to hold its own weight, into his mouth.

That voice startled Heron completely, and he stopped in his actions.

This was the voice of Jack, directly transmitted to Heron using the system. Although Jack could put a halt to all the skills of Heron, and completely kill him instantly since he had accepted his powers, he still decided to explain this to Heron just in case the idiot decided to use the skill when Jack wasn't looking.
Hearing this, Heron was speechless, not that he could speak with his parched throat in the first place.
[1] just for those who feel this is wrong. Firstly, I will not use the American system, and will always use metric system, except when saying 'For miles on end', and similar stuff. Secondly, a normal African male lion weighs 190 kg on average, to an 8ft non-human of the lion-man who can stand on two feet and so needs more muscles, should weight more.
