Ch 16 Surprise

I was waiting in my room for him but he didn't came. I was wearing a revealing gown that showed my curves well and exposed my long and milky legs. I made it myself by cutting my brown gown. Amy asked me several times about why I needed needle and thread but I ushered her out of my room and closed my door. I got wounds on my fingers. I was getting sleepy and tired. Why he didn't came? 

I stood up angrily and paced my room up and down. I was getting anxious. Suddenly, I remembered him staring at the sky , lost in his thoughts. I got filled with fear. I stopped in my steps. 

" What if he is thinking of her? " I muttered to myself in horror. she would come tomorrow. What will I do? 

He was already acting possessed. 

" I won't let this happen." I said a bit too loudly. 

My sharp voice pierced the silence of night. If he couldn't come to me then I would go to him. I smiled on my devil mind. 

I put on a black robe and opened my door slowly. I took one step slowly, then other slowly. I was aware of my surroundings. I walked slowly, slowly, slowly...

Thanks to Mother Mary nobody was there. Now, I was close to main gate, just a set of stairs and I would be free. I saw that no one was there. Wisteria palace had its own perks. No one to guard the palace. I highly took advantage of it. I climbed down the stairs and ran to the main gate. 

I grabbed the door handle to open it. 

" Princess..." 

My heart almost stopped when I heard that. My heart was palpitating fastly. My limbs went cold and my throat dried. My energy drained suddenly. My legs went limp. But, I clutched the door handle to support myself. 

" Princess, Where are you going?" 

It was Jenifer. Her timing was really wrong. Why was she wandering around so late at night? 

I turned around to face her. She was in her nightgown and was holding a candle. 

" I..I" cleared my throat " I was going to take a stroll. I couldn't sleep so....." 

I smacked myself for telling such a white lie. 

" Princess, you shouldn't wander around even if you are in palace. This is not how a lady behaves....I will give you some hot milk, you will feel better." She said in her stern voice. 

She really was a woman of values. But, she wouldn't understand how urgent this was for me? 

" No, I am full from dinner. I will go to my room." I told her. 

" Princess, you don't even have a knight. I can't allow you to go outside. Promise me, you won't go out." She said in her gentle and lovely voice again.

It always reminded me of my nanny. I didn't mean to hurt her. 

" I promise....amd I am sorry.....You don't have to worry. I will go to my room." I convinced her. 

I am sorry Jenifer because I was going to break this promise. To meet him, I could cross any boundaries.I went back to my room.

" I will definitely come to you." I said to myself. 

I did so much preparations today. I won't let it go in vain. I couraged myself. 

I put the pillows under blanket so that it would look like I was sleeping. I went into balcony and saw that it's really high. I got scared for a moment but I won't be discouraged by this. 

Wisteria palace won't be able to trap me. I stood over the rally grabbing the pillar so tightly that my knuckles went white.

It was really high. My legs were shaking from fear and from cold. Cold winds blowed my robe exposing my skin to face the cold. I was shivering.My heart was beating really fast. 

" Mother Mary, help me. If I fall down from her, my bones will become a powder." I prayed. 

I finally gathered all courage and started to climb down with the help of pillar. The time I touched the ground I practically slipped to my knees and felt it. 

Staying and walking on ground was best. I dusted my robe and walked towards Alaric. 

He lived in blue palace. I walked in shadows. Many guards were patrolling. I hid behind bushes when I saw the blue palace.

Many knights were guarding that palace. How will I enter? There must be a back door.

I walked side by side with bushes and went behind the palace. There was a back door. But, it was closed I could see a big lock even from here. 

My already scattered courage fade away. But, then I remembered about that girl. 

" There must be another way. There has to be. I will definitely find a way." I motivated myself. 

I walked a bit more and saw a balcony. I could climb there. There was no one there. I came out of the bushes and climbed up easily this time because there were many thick vines. I was getting the hang of it. I praised myself and smiled on my achievement. 

Balcony was really big and there was even a swing there. Two chairs and a table to sit. There were many plants here as well. It looked beautiful. I opened the door to room and it was open. 

" Thankyou, Mother Mary." I whispered.

I slowly entered the room. It was dark. There was only a lamp that lighted the room faintly. On the top of that, curtains were down. He was not in his room. Where was he then? 

" It's okay.He won't go anywhere. He will come back eventually." I whispered

I lighted his room with some more candles amd sat on sofa. His room was bigger than mine with a king sized bed and a pair of couches. Soft cushions and a table of glass. Most of which was either blue or white. This room smelled of him. I wasn't mistaken it was his room. 

I sat there for God knows how long? I yawned and I was drowsy. 

My sleep went away when I heard that footsteps. He must be here. I walked and hid behind the curtains to surprise him. Curtains were made of thick clothes so he won't be able to see me. The door opened and his footsteps slowed. He closed the door behind him and looked around the room. I smiled internally. He was really going to be surprised. He started to unbutton his shirt. This was the moment to attack. Are you ready with me? I asked invisible people around me. I was really going crazy. 

He turned around and removed his shirt

 My face was flaming. He was just perfect. I was swooning over him. He was looking towards curtains like he could sense me here. 

" What are you thinking? It's time to attack. Don't be such a shy cat now. You have it be bold. Yeah, bold....." I whispered to myself.

I remembered each line of seduction. I imagined that soul of that female lead had entered me. 

Alaric was searching something under the pillow. It was right time. There was no going back . I walked out and was going to surprise him but he turned around suddenly I was surprised and the next thing I knew was I was on his bed and he was above me pointing a knife to my throat. 

I was going to die of heartattack someday. 

On seeing me, his eyes got widened. He was surprised.

" What are you doing here?" He asked in a surprised tone. 

" C.....Can you put this thing away?" I asked while pointing to his knife. 

" Oh....." He realised what was I taking about.

He got up and placed that knife. I also got up. I was smiling broadly. 

"Did you like my surprise?" I asked. 

" I...I am...." 

I interrupted and said, "Speechless..I knew it." 

" You should go now....it' late." He said something unexpected and washed my excitement. 

But, I was here for a mission. My mission to seduce him and I was going to complete it. I inhaled deeply and dropped my robe off me. 

He was going to say something but he just freezed on seeing me. His jaw dropped and I smirked on my small achievement. 

Alaric ( 3 hours ago)

I was really happy when elder brother told me Camilla was coming back. She was my bestfriend. We were inseparable as children. I was really happy. 

" Did something good happen?" Rick asked.

He was writing reports . I was working overtime to clear my schedule for tomorrow.

" Yeah, Camilla is coming back." I said. 

" Hmm..." He laughed " be ready for a war." He said while a smirking. 

" Why?" I looked at him confusingly.

" Did you forget about your secret lover? She is a bit feisty one." 

" Oh right , I really forgot. How could I? " I really forgot about her for a second. I was so engrossed in my work I forgot to visit her.

Madeleine wasn't going to like it. She was already so obsessed. I already knew this would happen but not this much early. 

She was going to be hurt broken. Maybe, It was time to make her realize her mistake and to plant the seeds of love inside her. I sighed. Coming days were going to be chaotic.

" Did you tell her about Gabriella?" He asked. 

I didn't say anything. 

Gabriella was my first crush when I was fourteen. She was daughter of a viscount. We liked each other and I thought I loved her. We were attracted to each other . She was my first kiss. She was sweet and beautiful girl. I really used to love her voice. The way she called me."La.." she used to call me La and I used to call her doll because she was just like a doll. Blonde hair and blue eyes. Really small. I thought she was my everything.

Rick snapped me out of my thoughts. 

" What are you thinking?....You better tell her before she knows from somewhere else..." He warned me.
