63 Eurazania's Rebirth

(Question, there are some days I might not be able to post because of work. So would you all rather I try to make some extra chaps and keep them in storage just in case or should I just post them as I finish writing them. On one hand, it would pretty much guarantee daily chapters even if for some reason I can't write that day. But on the other, it would mean I won't really post more than a chapter a day even on days I can write more.)

"Why are you both dressed up?" Carrion asked Albis and Suphia.

"No reason" They answered.

They both had made sure they looked good for today's event. Some time had passed since I had gotten to Jistav and today would be the day where I came to Eurazania. While no one had died or gotten injured when Milim decided to attack, the city was still destroyed, and to this moment the rebuilding was still in process.

(I don't know if I did a good job explaining how it was left so here is a before and after picture of Eurazania.)

Milim had really messed up the city, leaving absolutely nothing behind. The ground and the mountain behind Eurazania had been completely eradicated. The city was currently just a lot of tents and most of the population were in the neighboring cities that were a part of Tempest or in the City of tempest itself. They were quite fond of their home place but it was impossible to live in it at the moment. So a lot of work had been going into it since they had joined Tempest.

Many of Tempest's experienced builders and magic users had been sent to Eurazania to assist. Jistav was in a bad position because of the quality of their dirt and the fact they couldn't grow crops effectively, but Eurazania was just completely wiped off the map. Their plantations which were the main resource of the land had also been destroyed.

While the builders and the magic users were doing their best the restoration of the land was still not finished. It was simply impossible to fix the damage so quickly. And building couldn't start before the land had been flattened and restored.

At this moment the Beastketeers and Carrion were awaiting the one they hoped could assist the most. And while Phobio and Carrion were wearing regular clothing Suphia and Albis had gone through the trouble of organizing their hair and their clothing to look good.

"Do you think he can help us rebuild the city?" Phobio asked Carrion.

"If he can't, we are going to have to abandon our land and move our city's location. Even if this has been our land for millennia there is nothing we can do if it isn't safe to live here. We have to prioritize the safety of our citizens rather than our traditions."

Carrion looked behind him and sighed.

"Really, why couldn't she hold back a little?"

At that moment the place in front of them glowed for a second before I appeared with the kids, Hinata, and a few other people that had come along to watch over the kids and assist.

"Lord Rimuru." Albis and Suphia took the chance to step forward to greet us.

"Howdy."

"Whoaaaa what happened here." The kids said as they began to wander around and looked at the destruction.

I began to look around at the progress that had been made since we started and it wasn't much.

"Lord Rimuru, thank you for coming to assist us. If there is anything we can do to help you all you have to do is ask." Albis said.

"Whoa there Albis, why don't you slow down a little. They just got here, I am sure they have something they gotta do before we can know if they can help us or not." Carrion said with a teasing tone as he stepped forward to greet me.

"Don't worry Carrion, I think I should have come here a bit earlier. What was Milim thinking when she did this? Don't worry, I know how it used to look so I can help in restoring it. Might as well get to it now. Tell the people to clear the area and I can start, you can move everything over in that place where it will be out of the way."

"Eurazania thanks you once again," Carrion said as he began to carry out my orders and clear the land.

I stayed behind watching everything happen and I asked the people near me.

"Is there anything specific you would like to add to Eurazania? Picture how it used to be in your head and then tell me what you would add to it."

"Well, the hot springs in Tempest are quite nice," Albis said.

"Oh, in the mountains there used to be this cool type of tree with white leaves. They were only able to grow in it properly for some reason so all of them were destroyed. While we have some of their seeds saved they won't be able to grow outside the mountain."

I listened to them talk about their city before it was destroyed and everything they missed and wished to improve and once the entire place had been cleared out I began to work.

"You know this place has the benefit that it is basically a huge plot of land. There is no need to worry about anything getting in the way. So I get to have a bit of fun here."

The people around me gave me a few confused faces before I began to walk towards the city center by myself.

'Ciel, are you ready for this?'

[Ready as I'll ever be. I have organized the processes already. All that is left is to start.]

'Now this is where the fun begins.'

I began to float as my magic began to leave my body. Simultaneous activation of control laws, control elements, control magic, and Origin: Creation began to work.

A large burst of magicules left my body as we began to fix the damage on the land. Creating the highest quality dirt and using that to cover the land that had been destroyed. However, magical circuits were being engraved on the land at the same time. All of the circuits we had created for Tempest began to form in this land. And since we didn't have to worry about any existing buildings we were able to go a bit crazy with it. Increasing the potency and efficiency to a different level. Grass quickly began to grow on the new dirt, creating a big field where there once was a crater.

Now that the land had been restored I began to work on the main feature of Eurazania, the mountain with the waterfalls behind the city.

I pointed my hands towards it and magical formed vein-like objects began to grow in the mountain. Many magical formulas that Ciel had thought of were currently being written in the inside of the mountain. For this, I had given Ciel creative freedom, so she was quite excited about the plans she had made. The vein-like magicule circuit that ran all throughout the mountain began to grow and they began to shape the parts of the mountain that had been destroyed by Milim. The moment they stopped growing the mountain began to form once again.

Ciel had seen the creation of the mountain when she analyzed the skill Origin, so she knew that it used to have some magical properties. She was capable of restoring everything to what it once was but she didn't want that, we didn't want that, we wanted to make it better.

The mountain had become taller and some new features were appearing in it. New life was beginning to form in it. The threes with white leaves began to form once again, but it didn't stop there. Many new types of plant life were being created at this moment, enhancing the beauty of the mountain. And we might have gotten a bit carried away at the moment since we didn't stop at just plants.

Some new types of animals and monsters were being created from the magicules covering the mountain. Just like how Tempest snakes and Charybdis were born from Veldora's magicules, many beings were created on this day.

The gigantic waterfalls behind Eurazania were created once again but this time it was special. The special magic circuits that covered the mountain ensured that the water would always be clean and it would carry a small trace of magicules. Giving a small amount of energy to whoever drank it. This was going to be the main source of water for the city so I wanted to make sure that it was the best it could be. And we didn't have to worry about running low on the water since the circuits would also produce more water once it lowered past a certain point.

Since I practically had full creative freedom as to what to do with Eurazania I also added a few caves in the mountain with clean and warm water. There would be many secret natural hot springs. It had a different supply of water for the hot springs and this supply was filled with Hipokute herbs. Meaning the hot spring would have healing effects on whoever went in it.

'If there is anything Veldanava and I agree on is that creation is fun.'

[It is, wait until I tell you all the things I added on the mountain.] Ciel had a cheery tone as she spoke.

'You gotta hear all the things I added too, it was a few things that just popped into my head as we were working.'

[I'd like that.] Ciel had assisted in the background for the parts I had worked on yet she was still happy to listen.

'Oh, maybe we should add a few more things in the mountain-'

[We are getting close to a dangerous level of magicule usage. I think we should stop for now to not risk permanently damaging your strength.]

'Well, maybe it is time to call it a day too… We should do something like this in Tempest too, it is quite fun. I was worried we would damage the city and the forest but now that we have some experience with it we can probably do some things without damaging anything.'

I took my chance to step back and now that I was out of the building mindset I was a bit stupified by what I saw.

[It's beautiful.]

'We might have gone a bit too carried away'

I couldn't help but laugh. What used to be a nice city had turned into a piece of paradise. All of the magicule circuits all around the land and the mountain gave it an impressive look. There were many trees in the mountain that were beginning to glow as the darkness started to arrive. This may have been a land filled with magic and fantasy monsters. But this had to be the most magical sight I had seen.
