33 Origin: Wraith

*Thump*

"Alright! Yes, keep moving! You've got this!" Gwen cheered as Peter smiled in amusement while Yuri scowled in annoyance. "You got this Yuri!"

"Hey! I thought you were supposed to be on my team!" Peter complained half-heartedly leaning back avoiding a jab and stepping back avoiding a leg sweep.

"Awww. Don't be like that! Yuri is like my sister." Gwen giggled as Peter blocked a before rolling under a kick and sweeping Yuri off her leg and slamming her to the ground.

"You are my girlfriend!"

"Consider it payback for getting cosy with Susan."

"I thought I had your permission!"

"Doesn't make me any less jealous." Gwen grumbled as she went back to cheering for Yuri. "Yuri! Yuri! Kick his butt!"

"Like that's ever gonna happen-" Peter scoffed before at Gwen and froze a bit when he saw to look in Yuri's eyes as she helped herself up.

"Susan too huh? It seems like your lust knows no bounds." Yuri grumbled to herself. "Looks like Onee-chan has to educate you."

"Relax lady-"

"Haah!" Yuri attacked with fervour as Peter jumped back avoiding an axe kick before ducking down dodging a spinning kick. "Take this-woah!"

Peter smirked as he timed his attack grabbing Yuri's extended leg mid hair and proceeded to slam her onto the mat before turning her and quickly putting her in a leg lock.

Yuri thrashed around tried to free herself from his grasp but Peter would not let up and he only tightened his hold causing her to groan in pain.

"Ugh! I give up!" Yuri groaned as Peter quickly let go and got back to his feet. Yuri pouted as he inspected her reddened feet. "Awww. Meanie you couldn't even let me win huh?"

"Gender equality remember?" Peter rolled his eyes as he offered Yuri a hand which she took grumpily.

"Whatever jackass-woah!" Yuri gasped as Peter pulled her close and wrapped his arms around Yuri's waist. "Wha-?! What are you doing Peter?!"

"Ohhh. Now, this is getting interesting." Gwen giggled to herself as she pulled her phone out.

Something I should have done a long time ago." Peter said as he slipped his hands into Yuri's top and caressed her bareback running across the bra strap in the process. Yuri shuddered in pleasure as her bosom pressed against Peter's chest making her knockers look more bigger than they already were.

Peter planted small kisses on Yuri's neck as she lifted her head sub-conscious to grant Peter more access to his neck.

"Peter!" Yuri gasped out as Peter's hard-on pressed against her stomach. Before Yuri could say anything Peter grabbed her gently by her shoulder-length hair and pulled her into a deep kiss.

Yuri's eyes widened but slowly she leaned into him and melted into his kiss. Grabbing him by his shirt she pulled him close trying to mesh her body into his. She moaned into the kiss and growled in annoyance as Peter pulled back with a smug smile on his face.

Yuri groaned in annoyance looking at his smile as she turned around to leave. "Ugh! I hate you.."

She didn't get too far as Peter grabbed her from behind and hugged her. Yuri half-heartedly resisted but Peter wouldn't loosen his vice on her.

"I love you." Peter confessed abruptly causing Yuri to freeze in shock. Peter smiled to himself as he leaned down and rested his chin on her shoulder. "I really, really love you."

"Ah... Well... Um... I." Yuri tried to say something coherent but nothing came out which made Peter chuckle.

"I love you." He said once again as he placed a small kiss on her cheek before letting go of her and walking away. "Freshen up, we have weapon training after lunch."

"Really smooth, babe." Gwen grinned mischievously as she pocketed her phone done recording the moment as Peter walked past her but not before smacking her bubble butt which made her squeal.

"Haha. Come, help me set up the table."

"Alrighty!"

------

"Are you sure about this?" Peter asked as Susan nodded.

"I am." Susan replied as she shakily rubbed her arm. "There isn't much left anyway. Reed is gone, insane and incapable of saying anything intelligent. Ben doesn't want anything to do with Baxter after seeing just what kind of person Reed had turned into. My stupid brother is under watch and won't be getting his freedom anytime soon..."

"I'm sorry." Peter said as he looked away causing Susan to clench her fist before taking a deep breath and wiping her tears.

"Honestly speaking, I shouldn't even here talking to you and yet here I am." Susan shrugged chuckling in a self-deprecating manner. "As much as upset I am, I am not blind enough to not know just how far Richards went and how Johnny acted even though I know he was manipulated by Reed. There's also the fact that you helped lessen the punishment. Thank you... Thank you for that."

"You are welcome." Peter smiled after a pause. "But this is a different manner..."

"I know but I am sure." Susan nodded firmly. "There isn't much left of the fantastic four left, to begin with. It's just me now. I would like to expand the company in various and for the betterment of humanity."

Susan walked towards the glass wall and looked outside with a sad smile.

"We were only teenagers when we thought about starting our own company. Well me and Richards mostly, Johnny was just going with that flow haha. Typical him." Susan smiled to herself. "We wanted to put our brains together to come up with ideas that could solve all the problems, hunger, diseases, wars and all sorts of evil. Help usher humanity into a lasting era of love, peace and care. We wanted to make the world a better place. But... It was hard."

Peter remained silent as he listened to her.

"Very hard. We had issues, money, biases, prejudice but we managed, we did it. Our company, our first step to making our wishful dreams come true. I could see it coming true... A world that knows not of grief but only love and peace. I could see my future with Reed, a happy one." Susan clenched her lips as she touched the glass panel. "But that vision of future faded away just as quickly as manifested. Reed got absorbed into his work and our relationship died before it had even the chance to blossom. I knew we would never be together and if we did, I wouldn't have the happiness I want. So I kept moving on, working hard to match the pace of the men in my life who were the most important to me."

Susan's eyes glazed over as she stared into the sunset.

"Then that accident happened. Two years ago, I was liberated from my shackles. I was set free, I had my initial issues no doubt but for the longest time, I felt alive. Us against the odds, fighting crimes and injustice, being praised my people, being showered in so much love and admiration. It was like a dream come true. I felt like... We were making a difference." Susan's smile faded away as she clenched her fist. "But look what happened now... My dream, my family and my everything is in shambles. How did it go wrong?. I want to blame you! I really, really want to blame you for it but I can't. I know... My dream was fractured since the beginning."

Susan looked up as she wiped her tears.

"But I won't give up on it now... As fractured and flawed as it is. I'll try my best to make it come true as much as I can." Susan said turning around and looking Peter dead in the eye. "Fantasia Four is no more... But my dream will go on. I'll turn it into a reality but I can't do it alone."

"Peter, I need your help." Susan asked softly as she looked at him with fiery eyes. Peter stared at her before scoffing and looking away as he got up.

"I know you don't need me to point it out to you just how naive your dreams are?" Peter asked as Susan nodded.

"I am well aware of my flaws."

"But you still want to walk this path?"

"I do."

"And you want my help in this?"

"I do."

"Do you know how crazy you sound?"

"I do."

"Haah." Peter chuckled shaking his head. "The path you want to walk on is that of hero, of a saviour and that's something I'm not fit to be. I am nor will I ever be a saviour. Even when I save people most of the time there's always a selfish motivation behind it. I can't walk this path."

"I don't want you to. I know killing is something that you and I will never see eye to eye but despite all of that. I still want you. I don't like killing but I'll admit there have been times where I have felt killing was justified and a necessity as much as I hate it." Susan admitted. "I don't want you to walk this path for me. I want you to help me walk this path. I want you to be there to hold me when I stumble, console me when I'm down and guide me when I'm lost. I need you to help me become a hero."

'Ironic.' Peter thought to himself but he cracked a smile. "I don't know what is going in your head and I'm already dreading for whatever it may be. But... I can't imagine leaving you alone at a time like this."

"You mean-"

"Yeah, I'll help you." Peter replied a Susan grinned widely rushing to hug him but stopped as Peter raised his hand. "But... I have a few conditions and I need to know if you will be willing to respect them."

"I think we can work it out." Susan replied with a happy smile which Peter returned as Susan wrapped her arms around his torso for a tight hug.

"I guess... An end of something is the beginning of another." Peter smiled as he rubbed Susan's back planting a small kiss on her head.

The news of Fantastic Four disbanding made rounds even though many people already predicted this. But it wasn't the news of the disbandment of the group that made the headlines.

It was the establishment of a new company called AfterLife Foundation with Susan Storm a.k.a the Invisible Woman and Peter Parker a student from Midtown High School who is about to graduate.

Afterlife burst into the scene making breakthroughs in pharmaceuticals providing better and cheap medicinal alternatives. Rumours were popping up that Susan is aiming to absorb OsCorp but that was yet to be proven.

"Alright... There! Yuri?! It's done." Peter called out as he stepped back from the workstation and admired his latest creation.

"Really?!" Yuri rushed to his side and almost bumped into Peter who caught her and chucked.

"Easy there."

"I... Wow..." Yuri mimicked a fist as she galed at the black and gold masterpiece in front of her. "She's beautiful."

"I know right?" Peter smirked proudly as he folded his arms.

"Does she have a name?" Yuri asked as she traced the fabric of the suit.

"She does..." Peter's smirked widened even more. "I call her..."

"Wraith."

Sooo.... First of all. I want to apologise for the delay. Things haven't been great lately :))

Anyways, I got hella suggestions that Peter should start his company and get rich, like rich rich rich.

And I had already planned to do it but much later on. After the Battle of New York actually but since some of you were insisting I altered my plan up.

I didn't see any other way to establish Peter's Company so early since it's way too early and while Peter is quite loaded now, he doesn't have the capital to start his own company so...

I present to you AfterLife. The name just came to me. The company has made its debut in pharmaceuticals but will inevitably expand its reach into other fields. Now, I believe the timing is also quite right since I have plans for Peter and those plans need huge funding, so with AfterLife, it's all secured.

Anyways, I'm open to any suggestions you might have with AfterLife. Please let me know if you have any ideas on how the company should grow its reach and become one of the biggest business empires.

Anyways, I'll see you at the next one.
