Chapter 6: Confrontation

He thought about the system and an interface emerged in front of him. He was shocked by seeing the information and was laughing. If someone were to see him at this moment, they would think that he is insane but the system he got is a cheat.

It also has a very strong bloodline which can even be compared to Titan Giant Ape. The ability he will gain would have all the advantages as high attack and defence with thunder elements in it

As for the Thunderclap Eagle, it also has a very high defence and attack power and has the lightning attribute to it. Its bloodline can even be traced back to Divine Lightning Thunder Eagle and would not lose to One Horned Thunder Rhino. The ability he would gain would have something related to high speed and attack power with lightning attribute. And if your luck is good, chances are high you may even get a flight skill.

Zeng Xin's pair of clear eyes suddenly shone with a red light. He abruptly jumped up high and twisted his body, the figure overhead suddenly emerged as a One-Horned Thunder Rhino and a deafening sound like thunder rumbled.

The beast lost his focus just for a second and he shot him again. This time it was a headshot but it did nothing. It just scraped off some skin nothing else.

"Bullets are of no use in front of this enemy."

Zeng Xin didn't immediately attack but quietly came closer to the Rhinoceros. After coming in a hundred metres of the beast, it suddenly turned around and looked at him.

'Shit!'

Zeng Xin knew that he made a mistake and underestimated the beast senses. He immediately took out the knife from his back and got in a fighting stance.

"ROARRRRRR!!!"

It immediately became enraged after seeing Zeng Xin as it roared. It raised both of his front hooves and stomped the ground causing a quake and ran toward him while jerking his head in anger.

Just as the rhino was going to hit him, Zeng Xin dodged its attack as he vanished from his place and appeared few metres left to the rhino.

The Thunder rhino seeing that its target had dodged its attack, glared at Zeng Xin and once again charged toward him, who evaded its attack once again.

This keeps going on for a while until the Thunder rhino exhausted himself. It looked at the human with anger in its eyes but can't do anything.

"What!? You already tired, you dumb beast." Zeng Xin smirked as he looked at the flaming rhino with provocation.

After a spirit beast reached the ten-thousand-year-old mark, it would start to develop intelligence but the intelligence would be only at the level of an infant, only those few with rare bloodlines would develop fast.

Even though the flaming rhino has reached ten thousand years old, its intelligence hadn't developed much. It immediately roared and became enraged because of Zeng Xin's provocation and charged at him. But this time seeing that the rhino was charging straight at him, he got in the stance.

The rhino too was overjoyed seeing that the human this time didn't look like he was going to dodge. It immediately lowered its head and charged toward the human as its horn started releasing thunder. This time he was going to make sure that the human died.

Zeng Xin seeing this also used his superspeed and too charged straight toward the beast. When they were just a few metres away from each other, Zeng Xin jumped suddenly and swung his knife in a round sweep manner and hit the rhino at his back and kicked him sending it flying as a light cut can be seen the place where the knife hit.

The thunder rhino was now utterly enraged as it looked at Zeng Xin with bloodshot eyes. Even though the attack didn't manage to hurt him, it still made him furious.

Before the rhino can even attack, Zeng Xin pulled his hand back and clenched his fist as he punched directly at the head of the charging rhino, making it stumble backward. Zeng Xin's pure physical strength is more than 150,000 kgs.

The sound of the breaking of a skull can be heard as the beast plopped down lifelessly on the ground. Zeng Xin came running toward the beast's dead body.

"Sorry for the fact that I killed you for my need. But I needed to kill you so that you can become my spirit ring."

After saying that Zeng Xin sat down and started to make a hand seal and absorb the spirit ring as his grandfather had taught him to.

As he started to make hand seal the black spirit ring started to float toward him, he released his Glock and the spirit ring appeared at the top of his head.

Zeng Shan came out of the tree and started keeping watch on Zeng Xin.
