Chapter 40 The Yasha Descends from the Sky

Kiyomi Liuli left her part-time job thinking about her grand plan and the bright future that came with it, her smile a bit sinister; she hummed a tune and dashed into her home in less than twenty seconds.

"I'm home!" she shouted, kicking off her shiny rounded leather shoes and dashing towards her room. Kiyomi Koko, who was watching a primetime drama in the living room, turned around in surprise, "Why are you back so late? Were you having a study session with Mr. Nanahara? I saved some dinner for you, it's in the kitchen. You can heat it up yourself."

"I already ate!" Kiyomi Liuli said as she dashed up the stairs. At home, she didn't need to maintain her girlish demeanor and ran fiercely, much like a little wild boar launching an attack.

She couldn't wait to look at the case, couldn't wait to start on the path to becoming "Detective Liuli."
