2 Chapter 2 : Personal Garden.
Sitting cross-legged on the floor, Xen, or should I say, Nie li, began recalling some of the knowledge he received from the original Nie li.
He stayed in that state for awhile. Although he only took a small glimpse on it, it still took him half an hour. Nie li's knowledge is just so vast and he have to get used to them soon.
Opening his eyes, Nie li has an amazed expression on his face as he said in a low voice, " Wow, so that's the Sage Emperor and his Deity guards. Tsk. Good thing I asked for protection from that Goddess. It will surely be troublesome without it. "
Nie Li recalled the epic battle between the original Nie li and the Sage Emperor. Calling it epic is still an understatement. It is just so.... mind blowing!
" So I can also have that power as long as I continue cultivating huh... hmm... damn, I'm getting a bit too excited just by thinking about it. haha. "
" Now, time to see the garden... " after saying that, Nie li entered his personal space with just a thought and saw a huge tree inside with ten palm size fruits. The space inside is not that big but it's no different from the world outside.
After thinking for awhile, Nie li decided to ignore those fruits for now and made his way to the herbs planted around the Divine Phaseless tree.

There's plenty of herbs planted there in different in different kinds and classes.
Nie li scanned them with his eyes for a moment before picking up a few powerful class herbs and went out of the space.

Inside the bathroom, Nie li is currently sitting cross-legged in a huge wooden bathtub soaking his body on in the red liquid. The red liquid covered all of his body below his neck.
" Arggghhhhssss. Bear it. Bear it. You can do this. It's your first step on becoming immortal so you must persevere. " said Nie li trying to distract himself from the pain he's feeling at this moment. With a great determination, Nie li tried his best not to step out of the wooden bathtub.
Around two hours after that, the red liquid from before turned into a black and stinky liquid now. All of the medicinal effects on the liquid was absorbed by his body allowing him to cleanse away all of the impurities in it.
After noticing that, Nie li stood up and began cleaning himself. He still has a lot of things to do so he can't waste his time here.
" First, I need to earn money to buy more delicious food as I'm so hungry now. The food here is so bland so I better cook them myself. And the best way to do that will be.... hmm.. that's right. I'll sell some of those lower class herbs. I see. "
Nie li then dried himself after that before putting on his clothes. He once again went inside his personal garden and took some lower class herbs before making his way to the market.
Arriving there, Nie li entered a huge building and talk to the receptionist there. This building was owned by the Divine Family so Nie li isn't afraid to be cheated here.
" May I know how can I help you young sir? " asked the receptionist after seeing Nie li approaching her.
" I want to sell some herbs. Who should I talk to? "
" I see. May I know what are you planning to sell young sir? "
Nie li took out a piece of clothes from his pocket and handed it to the lady receptionist.
" This... Rat tail grass? And there's even 4 stalks of it! It's quite rare to see this herb these day. " exclaimed the receptionist in shock as she looked at Nie li with bright eyes. " Please wait here a bit young master while I will go and let our experts inspect this. Is that okay? "
" It's fine. I can wait but please make it quick. " said Nie li. He didn't mind waiting here but not for a long time because it's too much waste of his time.
" It won't take too much time young master. " replied the lady receptionist before she hurriedly went deeper inside building
Nie li didn't wait that long. In just around 5 minutes, he hard some hurried footsteps approaching. He soon saw the receptionist that he talked with before carrying the herbs on her hand.
" These herbs are authentic young Master. Our expert had appraisedit already. "
" Good, then can you tell me your highest offer for these herbs? I'm a bit in a hurry so I want to finish this quick.
" Oh, so it's like that. I thought only can still asked you for some tea first young master but since you're in a hurry, then I won't make it difficult for you. These herbs young master brought here are quite rare and high class. According to our price, we can buy it for one hundred demon spirit coins per stalks. Is that okay young master? "
" One hundred thousand for each stalk huh.... ? Fine, let's do it on that price then miss. "
" Great, please wait for a bit more time young master. I will go and get the money now. " said the receptionist.

" Let's see about that. I'll take my leave now. " said Nie as he stood up and left the place.

After coming out of the building, Nie li walked around aimlessly before entering a small alley and entered his personal space. He wanted to make sure that no one is following him so he waited like that for another hour before finally coming out. He knows how dangerous this world is so he will surely do everything he can to be safe.
" Mn. It seems like they are indeed not a greedy merchants. Well, it's not like they will cheat me for a few hundred thousand demon spirit coins. Now time to buy food but I also need to buy storage rings soon to hide the existence of my personal space. * sigh * I'll set that aside for now. "
Nie Li then made his way to the meat shop area after that. He inspected the meat one by one before deep red meat caught his eyes.
" Boss, what kind of meat is this? And how much is it? "
" Oh, you have a good eyes for meat young man. This is a Demon Cow meat. Its taste is first Class and it's only 2 demon spirit coins per pound. How many do you want? "

' Are you a barbarian? ' he thought as he handed four demon spirit coins to the shop owner and left to buy more food.
Nie li then put the meat inside his personal space before he continued buying more. He plan to used this whole week to force his cultivation as high as possible so he need plenty of food for that.
There's plenty of meats available here and in many different kind too. There's birds, goats, wolfs, etc. And all of them are demonic beast!
" I wonder how these meat will taste like. I only hope they will taste good. Hmm.. it's seems like I brought everything I need. It's time to go back. " said Nie li before leaving the market and went back to his dormitory.

After he returned, Nie li immediately started preparing the meat he bought. He first took out the demonic cow meat and sliced it into four equal portions. He planned toake four different dishes from it to see what taste the best. Good thing some of the spices like peppers, garlics and onions are still available here so it's not that bad. Although their appearance was a bit off though.
After more than an hour, he is finally done cooking. There's now four different meat dish in front of him. Picking up the chop sticks on the side, he begone tasting it.
" This.... seriously?! "
* chomp *
* Chomp *
" Hahahahaha. This is great. With this food alone, my life in this world will be worth living. Hahahaha! " said Nie after he was done eating the first meat dish.
He is genuinely surprised how tasty the meat from a demonic cow was. He didn't even realize that he already finished the half pound meat as he began eating the next.
* Burp *
" That's a very satisfying meal. I'll set aside this one for dinner. "
Nie lie then began cleaning the table and set aside the rest of the food he didn't manage to eat as he still plan to eat them later.
" Now, time to cultivate. "
