The Reset

When I pressed the button a strong blue light appeared to fill the room. When I woke up I was in the same hospital bed that I woke up in at the first day I was here. But this time instead of a stamina bar I had two hearts. I thought since I reset everything with that button that this was how many times I was aloud to "die". After I was discharged from the hospital I walked outside and my clothes changed to an old timey western cowboy style and I had holsters with pistols instead of hidden blades. The strange thing was that the time period changed completely. It was now like an old 1800's town. I saw the man named "John" and ignored him so that I wouldn't half to do that mission and maybe I could find a different one. I walked around the 1800's style town for a few hours and then I went back to my hotel, but when I got there, there were three men waiting for me in the lobby. I decided in my mind that they were bad guys so I pulled my pistols and shot two of them. A strap with a knife appeared on my right thigh. I think the game was telling me that this guy needed to be killed with a knife. But the guy clapped and walked over to me. He put his hand on my shoulder, I pulled my knife. I began to speak,"now now young man, now do we want to hurt your guide?" I looked scared and sweat buckets when he said this. "W-wh-What d-do yo-you mea-mean guid-d-de?" I said with a terrible stutter. We ended up sittings a table at the back of the room and talking about what "guide" meant. He told me how he was sent to pick me up with his two useless buddies and when I killed the two other guys that is how he knew he found me. I was confused.
