1 The End
It was like any other day.
I was at work when it happened.
The world as we know would end.
All the people I loved died.
The same day I died.

I was at my desk working when my coworker spoke, "Hey guys check this out." He turned on the t.v. that was hanging by the wall and changed the channel to the news.
A lady reporter started speaking with fear in her voice, " This is an emergency this is not a drill! I repeat this is not a drill! Everyone please go home and lock your doors! Stay-" She was interrupt by screams and she jumped from her seat and tried to back away with tears streaming down her face she spoke, "Please I don't want to die!" Just as the words came out of her mouth she was decapitated. Blood started spraying all over the place. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I turn to see some of my coworkers covering their mouths in shock while some turned away from the sight. I turned back to look at the t.v. thinking it couldn't get any worse but I was wrong.
Where the lady reporter once stood there was a figure that wasn't even human. I can't even describe, it was some kind of monster that you would only see in movies. We continued to watch as this monster was holding the head of the lady reporter in what I believed were its claws. It lifted the head close to its face showing that it had one big eye then it started shaking with it a tearing sound was heard. The sound was coming from the monster as it opened its mouth and ate the head in one bite. Then it hunched over the reporter's headless body and started eating it.. People started gasping and screaming.
Then one person shouted, " THE SKY!" We all turned to look through the glass window to see the once clear sky is now completely black. Another voice spoke, "Where did the sun go?" I try to get a closer look because It looked like the sky was moving then all of a sudden something fell down from the sky and hit the glass leaving a crack. Then right after it was hit again and again until finally on the 4th try the glass broke. Everyone stepped back and we look to see something on the ground. A young man stepped forward to take closer look and spoke, " Don't worry it's just a bat." A lady that was next to him said, "That's one ugly bat." I couldn't help but agree as it had wings and ears like a bat but it looked as it was starved as you can see its rib cage. Almost like a skeleton wrap up in skin and it had about a 2 inch tail with a point at the end of it. The young guy bent down to see if it was dead then the bat open its eyes and lunged at him,bit his neck and he started screaming. It was like some kind of signal as more of these bat things came through the broken window and started attacking us. I quickly hid under my desk. I carefully poked my head out too see people running away, some were already dead as their bodies were covered with those bat things eating them, as I tried to find a way to escape.
I saw the exit I waited for a clear path once I saw it I ran. Just when I was about to reach the door something grabbed my ankle and I fell. I looked to see what grabbed me to see my coworker his face was covered in scratches, where his left eye was supposed to be was just a hole, some of his teeth were missing and the hand holding my ankle two of his fingers were missing. It reminded of a zombie and he spoke, "Help...me!" "I'm sorry!" I said helplessly as I kicked him off of me and got up. Once I left those bats jumped on him, he was screaming til only gurgle came out then nothing. I quickly open the door and shut it behind me. I leaned against the door as I looked up, "I'm so sorry!" I said hopelessly. I know there was nothing I could do to help but I can't help but feel like a piece of shit for kicking him away. Then a bang hit the door. I quickly moved away from it then another bang came and I ran towards the stairs. I ran down the flights of stairs and once I get down to the garage I pull out my keys and unlock my car. I get in and speed out of there. As I drive out if there i prayed that I get to my family and time and they are safe. Once I'm out and on the road I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
It was complete chaos. Stores were trashed, some buildings were on fire, people are running and screaming to get away from the monster or demons. Whatever they are some looked like mutated giant spiders, some had wings, some even had a human figure but with multiple limbs or just blobs of things. There were just so many.
It took me about 20 minutes to get to my family's house. I parked in the driveway to see my parents and sister's cars. It looked like it hasn't hit here yet. So I quickly got out of the car and ran too the door. I opened it and yell, "MOM, DAD, SIS, LITTLE BRO WE NEED-" the next words got stuck in my throat as I stand by the living room entrance to see a man standing with his back towards me. He had jet black wings as tall as him. He turned around and when I saw his face I couldn't help but think he so breathtakingly handsome. His hair black as night, eyes were black like a dark hole with red pupils. I looked him up and down to see he had something red on his beautiful lips. As I kept looking he had no shirt and only black jeans on no shoes. So, his bare chest was for me to see his and I wanted to run my hands all over him but then something red was dripping down on his chest to his stomach and that was what snapped me out of this trance. What I saw in his arms I screamed in horror.
