"Lili"
"I'm sorry."
"I'm so, so sorry!"
Lili hysterically ask forgiveness in the air.
She didn't mean to do it!
It was an accident!
'yes. Yes! An accident!'
Trying to convince herself in vain.
Her friend has fallen from the roof.
No! Not just a friend. A sister!
She witnessed her fall.
"Lili"
She heard it again.
Marga's last word.
Marga's loud cries as she fall.
Marga's cries for help.
'it was an accident!'
She tried again. This time in her thoughts.
She was just trying to talk to Marga.
Their conversation turn into an unexpected heated argument.
I just want her to notice him.
He tried so hard and she always just notices him.
I love him so much but he loves her too much.
I'm angry.
I was out of my sense.
My thoughts was so heated and Marga just can't understand it.
no. Maybe I was just so irrational. so crazy.
We didn't notice we're at the edge of the roof.
I was shaking her. I was so emotionally unstable.
That when I let go my grip to her shoulders she uncontrollably slip backwards.
Marga falls.
She fell from a high building.
'I tried to reach her!'
"Marga."
Lili crazily whisper's her name.
"Marga's dead. "
She mutters.

LILI is going crazy.
Her eyes turn dark and blank.
Seeing nothing but the void of nothingness.
Her body moves unconsciously.
Leaving her back facing the crime scene.

BELOW the building, shrieks of horrified and shock witnesses are heard.
"Someone fell!"
A stranger yell these words as if it isn't enough to witness the horrible circumstance that yield upon an unfortunate freak 'accident'.
"AhhHh!"
"W-what!"
Everything is in chaos.
As people surrounded the body of the fallen girl.
Sirens of both emergency and police vehicles overshadowed the loud voices of the scared observers.
Police officers rush to the crime scene.
Medics hurried their emergency aid.
Wishing for the victim to be breathing in such an almost impossible scale.
The police colors the area with yellow things as they do their best to uncover facts that lead to the unfortunate accident.
They stop people from nearing the scene but can't stop them from recording the sad event.
They ask around.
Questions about what, when, who and who was last seen together with the victim.
Soon people from medias arrive.
Though the police tried to stop their unrespectful action,
they can't stop everyone from capturing anything from the crime scene.
Soon police identified the victim as Margaret Chen.
She was last seen together with her 'best' friend Lilian Toris.
They were at a party held in the building where Margaret or Marga as the victim was known had fallen.
It was a party for welcoming the year.
But Toris was not found in the area.
As the enforcers continued their investigation, medics cater to Marga's wrecked body.
She was carefully carried to the stretcher and was sent to the hospital to wish for a miracle.
Families are called.
Everyone rushes to the hospital.
Filed an emergency leave from works.
Fervently praying for her survival.
Doctors doing their best to revive the girl.
Even though everyone knew that she's gone.
The emergency doors open.
A doctor emerges.
He moves his head.
Then cries are heard.
Cries that speaks grief, sadness, and broken heart.
Marga.
She's gone.
Forever.

Eyes fluttered open.
Dark eyes stares at the ceiling.
Seeing nothing.
She woke up nth times ago on her bed.
She didn't know how many seconds, minutes, or hours passed but she lay still on her bed. Numbness and headache starting to creep in her body.
Her vision unfocus.
Her mouth move.
Unintelligible mutterings echos around the space.
Her eyes flicker.
Lili didn't know how she came home.
She sat up slowly.
Blurry moments passing by.
Memories flying so fast.
She stands up unsteadily.
She takes a step.
Then a lot more.
She arrive at her balcony.
It's dark.
No stars or moon to shine the eerie night.
Her rigid body leaning against the railings, anyone who sees the situation will be horrified and will call a police.
But she don't care.
Cold wind caress her cold skin.
Her heart frozen and mind keep replaying the unfortunate incident.
It was 2 AM.
A new year has come.
A supposed to be festive day turns to something akin to a funeral.
Grief.
Sadness.
Loneliness.
Darkness.
Emptiness.
All these imprison her.
Lili feels like she was lock up in a very cold cage.
A mountain of ice surrounds her.
Numbing her.
She take a step.
He final step.
Just for her body to fall and gone to the dark abyss of the night.
No one witnesses the second misfortune of the celebrated day.
At her birthday,
Lili died after just 2 hours of her bestfriend's death.
Her last words,
