1 Chapter 1: Hi, my name is Ethan.

"Something something something something quicksilver and something~~"

Midnight black hair, sometimes hazel sometimes sable pupils, naughty smirk, 1.8 meter height.

That's me! A random average boy with average looks and average everything else. Not really doing anything special. Just currently standing on top of the pyramid of Giza, sipping coconut juice as I stargaze, counting the high concentration of stars that looks lucidly like the exact reflection of the desert below.

I think I'm on the pyramid of Giza... probably not. My gps is not working well in such a remote area. At least I can assure that the coconut juice is real. Mom bought it fresh today.

Almost forgot! My frenzy purple Bluetooth earphones are connected to my ears, the other end plugged into my budget iPhone. Or else how would I be able to sing such angelic lyrics?

I know, I know. Nothing about this is average. I kinda lied.

I lied about myself looking very average. I'm really handsome. You can call me at 9*******3. Got it? I'm waiting for a call sooner or later.

"Sweets dreams are made of this~" My beautiful voice reverberated in the serene night sky. Sadly, I'm too high up from the surface level for passersby to enjoy my concert. Sorry, maybe next time.

I gaze into the sky once again. That blinding light, isn't it the watchtower? Should I pay a visit? Don't think I've been there yet...

"I recommend you to leave my territory child. For as I, wouldn't be so nice in a few more seconds." A raspy old man voice disrupted my thoughts of the watchtower.

I squinted my eyes to see the skinny figure levitating up the gigantic stairs and steps of the pyramid.

A dirty yellow robe and that weird shaped hat thing... Very Egyptian style of clothing...

Oops, almost forget. I am in Egypt! I slap my head.

"Don't worry man. I did not litter. Coconut is in hand. See! Spick and Span. Squeaky clean!" I rub the material underneath my butt with a tissue paper.

A vein popped on the thin man's forehead. Sticky blood ran down his temple, dying his shirt.

"I, the mighty Cran, shall not wait any longer. Red tornado has humiliated me by defending my sandstorms. You will be my first sacrifice to regenerate my health."

The wrinkles in his face wrinkles even more, scarier than the ugliest scrotum in the world.

With that said, he forcefully jerks his sharp pointed staff at me with his lengthy, saggy skinned arm, impolite and without a warning.

I already feel the razored wind slicing across my cheek when it's still few feet away, the staff's tip not hesitating to penetrate my handsome features.

It is pretty insane though. According to my speculations, it can definitely pierce through stone like butter through knife. Sorry, I meant knife through butter. But I'm pretty sure red tornadoes new armor is way stronger than stone. That's why he could defeat this Cran Berry guy.

but of course, if a DC superhero can, I can too. If not I would never qualify to join the justice league.

I cup my hand in an 'O' shape. I wait patiently for the last second... and then simply evade to the left.

At the second I hear a swoosh created by the structure of a staff entering a hole, similar to the whistle of a train driving into a cave, I simply close my grip, and prepare my magic trick.

Faster than a flash, my feet is off solid pyramid. However, I do not see the familiar one I was on.

I witness every detail below me in a different perspective as I race further away from the beauty I see.

Yikes, it hit something squishy! Time to release.

I loosen my grip and I drop back on the pyramid I was previously on as a frail figure with a long stick sticking out of the chest area flew away in a gorgeous arc, plopping lifelessly on the ground.

"Damn! Are you dead? I haven't even introduce myself! Always forget that!" I wail in despair, leaving one sentence as I notice the clean up crew approaching from a distant away— a literal crimson colored twister.

"Hi, my name is Ethan. Bye bye Cran. Have a good life in heaven!"

I shut my eyes and the magic happened again.

I disappeared!
