4 Chapter 4 - Saving a kid

Steven and I were in his office. Steven told the staff to bring two cups of coffee. He didn't turn around and asked me.

"So where have you been, bro? Why did I not see you in Venus City these few years? "

"Well, you can say something happened, and I left this city. I was in Mount city for 2 years. Also, I don't have my old phone, so I don't have your number." I just simply told him. I did not want to talk about the unhappy things in my life. They were just past, but I am in the present, so I also need to think about the present.

" Forget about me, but what happened to you, bro? I never thought that my fat friend could become this slim. Haha," I asked him in a joking manner.

" Well, like you, I also need to deal with many complicated things, and while dealing with those things, I become like this. Haha, I know this is unbelievable, but I am telling you the truth," he said to me while smiling. Well, I did not ask him about those complicated things that he needed to deal with. I really did not have any interest in knowing about the special class. After that, the staff brought us a cup of coffee. While drinking the coffee, we talked some more and now it was time to go back. We also exchanged our numbers and now I am finally outside of the showroom. I won't be going back to the hotel this early because before going to the hotel I want to travel around the city. It has been 2 years since I traveled around the city in my car.

Well, if you are wondering why I am not playing a game that could give me the powerful loot because sometimes I also need some rest. So sometimes I did take a break from the game for a day. This will make my mind fresher and the next day I can focus on the game.

While driving, I was thinking about the money I have. Actually, I don't like money, but the main thing was how I should convince my grandpa and grandmother I am rich. Well, I cannot just take out money from the inventory. This will make them suspicious of me. They will think that I did something illegal to earn that much money. So I was thinking about what I should do.

It has been one hour since I started traveling around the city. It is now 4:00 p.m. and I am feeling thirsty at this moment. So I decided to go to a cafe and drink something there.

I am currently at my high school and here I have a favorite cafe. When I was in High School, I always came here. The name of the cafe is New light. The owner of this cafe was Harry Vrain, a 50 years middle-aged man. 2 years ago that cafe was very famous.

I was going toward the cafe and a few minutes later; I reached the cafe, and the scene was very shocking for me. 2 years ago this place was very famous but now the cafe looks like a rundown place. I did not see many people here, only 2 to 3 people in the cafe.

I park my car near the cafe and get out of the car. Well, I think I suddenly noticed a Bugatti Divo, and many people got started. Well, I did not care about them, I just simply entered the cafe. I can see the cafe is still the same as before. But this place wasn't as lively as before.

I looked around the cafe and then went toward the boss of this Place. I can see that uncle Harry Is still the boss of this place. But other than that, I did not see any other stuff in the place. I went in front of him and said to him,

"How are you, uncle Harry?"

Well, for some time, I think he was startled. But then I think he was able to recognize me and said to me with a smile,

"Haha, boy, look at you. For a moment, I wasn't able to recognize you. Haha, I am fine, boy how are you? You suddenly stop coming here. Did you go somewhere? "

" I am also fine, uncle. Yes, these 2 years I lived in the Mount City because of this I was unable to come here." I explained to him and sat down in the chair.

" Uncle, give me your best coffee," I told him.

"Haha, no problem, wait some time," I think uncle Harry becomes happy and begins to make coffee happily.

2 minutes later,

Uncle gave me the coffee cup and also sat down beside me.

I took a sip of the coffee and said to uncle Harry, "Haha, uncle, your coffee is still as tasty as before."

Uncle Harry and I begin to talk about various things. I also got to know from him why his cafe became like this. It was because a new cafe was open beside the school, and the size of that cafe was bigger than this. So now everyone likes to go there. Because of this, uncle Harry's cafe became like this, but still, some old loyal customers still came to his cafe.

30 minutes later, I left the cafe. Now it was 4:35 p.m. so I wanted to go back to the hotel. I still need to clear the mission of the game. I was driving my car while thinking about the mission. Well, I can't lose my focus on the road. I was looking around when I suddenly noticed a kid. A very small kid playing with his soccer ball while his mother was standing beside him and talking with another lady. His mother wasn't paying attention to him. But suddenly the soccer ball came to the main road, and the kid ran towards the soccer ball. The kid did not notice that he was about to get hit by a truck.

Suddenly someone noticed that the kid was about to get hit by the car and she screamed. Hearing the screen, the kids' mother finally paid attention to the road, but it was too late. Her little kid was about to be hit by the car. She also screamed.

I quickly decided what I should do at this moment. I can just let this accident happen. If I let this happen, then I won't be able to sleep for a few months.

Instantly I activated my stealth and using ghost steps, I instantly appeared beside the kid, then picked him up and appeared beside his mother. After putting him down beside his mom, I once again used a ghost step and appeared in my car. All this happened in less than 5 seconds. No one is able to process just what happened here. They only saw that the kids suddenly disappeared from the road and appeared beside his mother. The truck driver already pressed the brake with his full strength. He also didn't know how the kid disappeared from the road. The mother of the little one suddenly hugged him and began to cry. For a moment, she thought she was going to lose her child. It really scares her.

Well, at this moment I am already far from that place and now I have a smile on my face. Well, it feels good to save someone. I have the power to save his life, so why should I be a selfish person and not save him? Well, let's go back to the hotel and play more games.

Well, Alex, because he was thinking about saving the kid, he didn't notice that when the kid was about to get hit by the truck a lady who was standing beside the little kid's mother, she instantly circulates a lot of spiritual energy in her legs and she was about to use her move to save the kid. But Alex, at this time, made his move.
