22 Council Meeting
On a make shift couch and chair in the infirmary Gaara was treated laid Lady Chiyo and yashamaru fast asleep.
Meanwhile in the castle Rasa was nowhere to be found, he had taken it upon himself to send the rouge ninjas off as per the argument and with a little bit of fatherly love.
The village had now easily recovered from the destruction caused by Gaara and even his siblings were no longer astonished by Gaara's feat.
Soon enough Kankuro and Temari stepped into the infirmary carrying a whole load of food for their junior brother only to step in and find out that in the broad day light everyone was fast asleep.
They had no business being lazy for the day, they had Gaara to catch up to so they dropped the lunchbox and resumed their daily activities.
At noon Rasa had returned to the castle and Baki had accompanied him to the council room which held all the 3 elders of Sunagakure.
"What would be the next step?" First Elder asked as he tried to predict Rasa's objectives
"I believe Gaara has proved he can handle the one tailed beast and we have nothing to worry about him losing control" Elder chiyo stated making Rasa tilt his head towards him.
"It doesn't end there, the battle was large on our path and even though we prepared for it, Gaara didn't, if he is to be an ultimate weapon of the sand then I say he needs more training to be adept in his ways" Baki stated
"I agree with you all and at the same time I feel I'm more drawn to make Gaara stronger..." Rasa said
"You can't force the child Rasa" Elder chiyo interrupted
"There's no time, the pressure from the hidden leaf is increasing and on the other end we have him, trying to take over the village, we never know when he'll strike so we have to be prepared "
"You have to be prepared!, him? He has to move at his own pace, worst case scenario is you'll be a father to him" Elder chiyo said with a hint of anger in her tone
Rasa nevertheless refused to acknowledge her words even though she was right.
"He is not ready yet, though he is able to fend off a few Jonins, he was not able to defeat them, the people we are against are much more than that and that is another reason we need to hasten our steps and we require all the help we can get on ground Elder chiyo" First Elder said
"So I suggest a training course for Gaara, make him return to the academy and let him take the genin exams as a special candidate, so he can start going on missions to see how outside of Sunagakure is" Baki said
"You keep forgetting he is still just six years old, he is lucky to even be alive!" Elder chiyo said now fully angry
"That is why elder Chiyo we advise you set the training course for him" Baki suggested
Which made Rasa nod along with First Elder
