Chapter 1

"Hah!" I catch my breath while I'm leaning on a huge one eyed ogre's corpse.

I look up in the dark sky and sigh. I have a long way to go before I pass this trial.

[system: Times up! 10 min. resting is over. Resume the trial or you will face the system's penalty]

I click my tongue before I get up and get the ogre's eyes.

After that, I resumed on doing what's system is asking. I need to kill 2000 ogre in 7 days in this world before I pass the trial.

While I'm hunting some ogres, I can't help but remembering those time where I "accept" the system.

It's been a long time after I accept the system but I still remember it as if its still yesterday.

After it went blank that time, it seems like the sorrounding change as well as my clothes. Just a blink in the eye, it seems like I was suddenly transfered to another place. The sunny and noisy plaza suddenly became cloudy, quiet and the plaza suddenly become a strange town. I look around and notice that it is an empty town. I also notice that I am no longer wearing the same rugged clothes that I wear before.

I find it strange. Why am here? Why did the sorcerer transfer me in this kind of place?

While I am looking around, suddenly the town was slowly coverd by fog.

"awoooo"

"kekeke"

"Eh? What is that?" I unconsiously say it while observing the place.

[system: The trial will start now.

Mission: Survive the first night under the cursed town of Lefilia. Monsters are dangerous at night. Challenger's strength is now enough for now. Survival is a must. Challenger needs to regain strength.]

Hah?! What does it mean?!

Before I could say anything, I heard some strange sound comming from the fog. I slowly turn my head into that direction and i saw an inhuman figure slowly walking towards me.

"fck!" I silently cursed and before I know, I am already running through the fog. The fog is not that thick but it's enough to make this place more glommy and make my heart anxious. While running on nowhere, I notice a huge house and I unconsiously run towards there.

"Hello?! Is there anyone inside?" I said while knocking into the door. My voice is not that loud since I'm afraid that those monster might hear me.

I knock several times but no one is answering. I tried to open the door and fortunately, it was open. I oblivously went inside rightaway after discovering that it is open and lock it. I even place some havy object into the door. the house doesn't have any light but I think this is enough for now.

"growl..."

"kekekeke"

"skreeettcchh"

*BLAG! BLAG!*

I sat on the corner while hearing these strange sound outside. After that, I suddenly glance at the door, noticing that it's like someone is smashing it. I got curious so I tried to take a glance on what is that thing that smashing on the door. I slowly peek at the small whole on the hole but to my surprice, I also saw a weird red eyes and since I am near at the door, I heard some panting sound behind the door just like a wild animal.

"GRAAGHHH!!"

*BLAG! BLAG!"

After that, I suddenly feel on the floor. What is that thing?! After our eyes met, it become more strange and smash the door more. To my horor, I also move the table into the door. After a few moments, it suddenly stop but before I sigh a relief, I heard the window gives a "skretch" sound and after looking at it, I just want to hide myself under tne table.

outside, I saw a disfugured inhuman creature knock at the window. Thanks Heaven its close! Or else, I'll be devored by that monster! I don't know why but it seems like it cannot broken the window. thus it is looking straight into my eyes while it's saliva is dripping on it's mouth. It has long arms and disfigured face. It's feet looks like a kangaroo and has a sharp tail. It also have larger size than ordinary human and it's black hairt skin makes it more scary.

I just stared at that monster all night but after the sun rise again, that monster also dissapear.
