2 Chapter 2 - Phoebus Apollo

(3rd POV)

The sun was shining on the island of Delos, gracing this land with the most beautiful and magnificent light.

And in this beautiful sunlight stood a beautiful 12-year-old girl with long white hair that fell down her back and lush blue eyes.

This little girl was holding in her arms a beautifully cute boy, who had beautiful golden eyes.

The little girl was Artemis, who was holding her youngest brother, who had just been born, in her arms.

Her brother's birth took 6 days, and along with hers, there would be 9 consecutive days of pain.

9 days! That's how long your mother had to suffer with extreme pain throughout her body.

And in these last 6 days, Artemis not only witnessed but was also responsible for the birth of her brother. After all, Artemis was simply the midwife to her own twin brother.

Artemis, with her eyes as pure as the moon, looked to the side. Where she saw her mother lying in the shade of a tree totally exhausted.

Leto was completely bloodied, and along with her expression of pain, sweat ran down her face and dripped onto the floor.

Artemis looked at her mother's state with pity.

{I will never have a child or go through anything like that.} Artemis made a promise in her heart.

As a woman, that devastated image of her mother was carved into her mind.

She would rather die than suffer what her mother suffered.

Artemis shook her head, no longer thinking about it, and turned her eyes to her baby brother who was looking around in confusion.

"Cute!" Artemis poked her brother's nose.

Her baby brother fidgeted in her arms, looking displeased with her action.

This only made Artemis' pure smile grow even wider.

{You're so cute.} She thought, poking his nose again, discovering a new hobby, which was teasing her baby brother.

Faced with this provocation, her little brother just moved his little hand and held her finger with a resentful expression.

This practically made Artemis almost melt from the cuteness.

Before she can continue teasing her baby brother, she hears her mother's faint voice.

"Artemis,...my...son." Leto's beautiful voice was hoarse from screaming in pain.

"Yes, Mommy." Artemis walks over to her mother, and with a bit of reluctance, she hands her beloved brother over to her beloved mother.

Leto's weak hands took her son tenderly and gently and brought him to her breasts.

Her blue eyes looked at her adorable son with absolute, unconditional love.

{My two children are so cute and beautiful, I'm so blessed.} She thought, running her hand over her baby's face, as she looked into her son's beautiful golden eyes.

With a slight smile on her dry lips, she lifted her son and using the last of her energy, Leto said:

"My dear, your name will be Phoebus Apollo."

(Apollo POV)

Where am I?

That was the first question I asked, as I looked at the giant woman holding me.

Although her size was somewhat exaggerated, she was extremely beautiful and had long white hair and bluish eyes. On her body, she wore white clothes that showed her innocence and purity.

The most peculiar thing about this situation was that I felt a strong connection with this giant girl. But this strange connection didn't answer my question.

After all, where am I?

One moment I am in my beloved bed suffering from a terrible disease called cancer, but the next moment I am being held lovingly in the arms of this giant girl.

This was a sudden change of events. Since I went from unfair lung cancer to waking up in the arms of a beautiful giant girl.

Why unfair? Well, This type of tumor is usually contracted through smoking or passive exposure to tobacco.

But I considered my body a temple so these things didn't even reach my body.

Especially because I didn't smoke, I didn't drink alcohol, I didn't use drugs. However, in the end, because of genetics, I got chronic lung cancer.

Saying that life is unfair would be a bit of a cliché, but it doesn't change the fact that life is truly unfair.

Now, thinking about it, I wouldn't doubt in the slightest that I had died, and that I was reborn in the land of giant women.

Even if that thought was a little unrealistic, I don't doubt in the slightest that I died in my bed, probably in my sleep.

Well, dying at 18 doesn't sound so bad, and it wasn't like anyone was going to miss me either.

Perhaps this is one of the few advantages of being an orphan.

But, to be honest, I don't see much point in complaining, as there must certainly be people in a much worse situation than me.

When I thought about this, I suddenly heard a beautiful melodious voice.

"Cute!" The next moment, I felt someone poking my nose.

The beautiful giant girl poked my nose with a smile on her lips.

Huh! You shouldn't be poking people's noses and calling them cute.

I protested fiercely against this abuse.

But my protest only made the giant girl smile even more.

She kept poking my nose until I unconsciously grabbed her finger with my hand.

Just as I was about to smile at my victory I noticed that my hand was... small and cute.

Seeing my little hand, I finally understood that the girl wasn't a giant person, in fact, it was me who was small, to be more exact, I was a baby.

I really reincarnated!

While I was in shock, this girl had a big goofy smile, almost like she was melting.

Before I could collect my thoughts, I heard a husky voice that I instinctively knew was beautiful.

"Artemis,…my…son." This voice seemed to resonate within me, making me naturally calm.

"Yes, Mommy." The girl named Artemis walks towards her mother.

Wait a second…

Artemis?!

It wouldn't be that famous Artemis, would it?

It must just be a coincidence.

As I was thinking about this, a pair of hands gently held me, and I finally looked into the eyes of the woman holding me.

How beautiful.

I thought, looking into her beautiful blue eyes.

Those eyes looked at me, with unconditional love, even though she was visibly not well, and quite tired, this did not affect her look of love in the slightest.

Honestly, I got lost in this woman's gaze and, naturally, I knew she was my mother.

She looked at me, giving me a gentle smile, and lifted me with difficulty.

"My dear son, your name will be Phoebus Apollo."

When I heard her say my name, my world seemed to explode with that information.

So that girl really was Artemis, the goddess of the moon

So that means I...

I am, Apollo!

With this thought, my body begins to float in the air, and without giving myself time to become confused by this situation, I feel very drowsy.

And along with the sunlight that illuminates me, my eyes close and my consciousness ironically fades into darkness.

(3rd POV)

Leto looked at her beloved son who was floating in the air, with Artemis standing beside her.

Under the watchful eyes of his mother and sister, Apollo grew from a baby to a 12-year-old boy in a matter of seconds.

Meanwhile, the gigantic sun in space emitted a dazzling light illuminating the entire land everywhere, even reaching Tartarus.

Those banished or imprisoned in Tartarus who had not seen this beautiful light for a long time stood in jubilation.

But in the next moment, this dazzling light began to converge into a column of light toward Delos.

The column of light descended upon Apollo, destroying Poseidon's barrier. However, thanks to the blinding light none of the gods could see what was happening.

And with the column of light falling on Apollo, the island that was floating in the air was lowered to the surface of the sea, and this Island that was infertile began to flourish life on it.

Apollo being bathed in sunlight caused long golden hair, woven by the sun itself, to grow on Apollo. A sun symbol adorned his glabella, showing and announcing the God of Sun and Light to the world.

Apollo possessed delicate and soft features, but at the same time he exuded a masculine charm, his beauty was abundant, and by opening his eyes his beauty was further enhanced by his beautiful golden eyes that were like the incandescent sun in the sky.

He knew that he had grown from a baby to an adult thanks to the wisdom he had gained.

Now there was not the slightest doubt that he had been reincarnated as the son of Leto, the goddess of motherhood, and his sister was Artemis, the goddess of the moon, being also the son of Zeus, the king of the gods.

With a gleam of cunning, he waved his hand, manipulating the sunlight and transforming it into a white robe with golden details that covered his body.

He was calm, as he had already accepted his death and his reincarnation.

And his body descended, towards his mother who, despite Apollo being 12 years old physically, Leto, who had been cured by the sun, did not hesitate for a single second and hugged her son tightly.

He looked at his mother and sister, and a name came out of his mouth, not just a name, but his own name.

"Phoebus Apollo." Although he accepted his situation, this whole situation still had a slight flavor of fantasy, a flavor that he liked.

Then, with a smile, he looked at Leto and said:

"Mother." He turned to Artemis. "Sister."

And the two women with a smile of pure happiness hugged their son and brother.

{Really I am Apollo.} He thought, feeling the warmth of his family, then a natural smile formed on his lips.
