Alexa looked at her. What exactly did she want her to say?

"Do you think he's doing that because it's a child from a woman who looks like his late wife?" Paige asked and Alexa stared deep into her eyes, as if searching for the answer this lady would like her to say.

"Honestly, I find it weird." She answered.

"Oh? Then do you like the idea?" Paige asked but Alexa did not respond. "There are times when mother's use their children to get together with a man in power. Do you like Raymond Stein? Do you wish for your daughter to draw you closer to him for financial gain?"

"I won't deny that I have a little attraction to Raymond Stein but I will definitely not use my daughter just to get what I want. Financial gain? As long as my daughter is happy with me, I don't need riches." Alexa admitted.
