Leo

Matt Meltor and his army were camped a few hundred kilometers away from Hopeful Light town. After the terrifying explosion went off, he assumed that their mission to assist Lord Cromwell was now a failure. If the enemy was strong enough to produce such attack, they may be sending their lives straight to death's arms if he allowed them to proceed. However, he still decided to send a few men with the fastest phantom wolves to recon the situation. He is now contemplating on his modified carriage when one of his generals arrived and brought news.

"My lord, our soldiers came back with a messenger from Lord Cromwell." The old general reported.

"Good work. Bring the messenger in." Matt was truly glad that someone came from Lord Cromwell town. This means that the town may have survived the attack.

"Sir Meltor, my lord wishes to give you these." The messenger presented two message scrolls. The two message scrolls were sealed with Lord Cromwell's family insignia. Matt inspected an additional mark was engraved to the second scroll. He knew that this kind of mark was only attach to messages with utmost importance. It is so important that it is to be delivered to the capital and only be read by the king himself and no one else.

He unsealed the first scroll and reviewed the contents. His facial expression is a sight to behold as he learned what happened which Raygen briefly explained on the scroll.

"Please report to your lord that I received his message and will immediately send the other one to the capital. Help me congratulate him too on the birth of his son. We will rest here and will not disturb you any longer by coming there. We will depart and head home first thing in the morning."

"Please excuse me, sir. Then, I'll go now." The messenger bowed and hastily went out.

"My lord, what happened?" One of his generals asked as he saw the messenger leave.

"Well, here you go. Read it yourself." Matt handed the scroll to the general and placed the other scroll on a box beside his chair.

"A demon attack of this scale… Was annihilated by a single attack?" the general was shocked as he read the information.

"I know it's impossible but Raygen won't lie to me. This is definitely the real deal. Prepare our men and we will leave tomorrow."

"Yes, my lord." The general handed the scroll back before replying.

Hopeful Light town again received peaceful days after the demon attack. The destroyed terrain was no longer there, a bunch of rock affinity casters helped mend it. Raygen was now recuperating with his son on his arms. After he was able to go out of the medical ward, he headed straight home and stayed with his family. He asked for Mister Ryou's whereabouts to Grandma Reggie, and the old woman replied that their savior was out drinking with General Clave and Grandma Reggie's husband. Raygen smiled hearing about this and ordered some men to bring more wine and meat to satisfy their guest.

Raygen and Marie Cromwell finally named their son Leo Cromwell after a few days. They waited for Ryou to come back after his drinking session with the generals which lasted to three days. Apparently, Ryou suggested the name Leo from his grandfather's name which is Leonello. He said that his grandfather was a famous and powerful water caster and he hoped that Leo would be the same. The couple immediately agreed after what Ryou said.

The Blue Saint Kingdom oversees the land where Matt and Raygen's territory along with few more towns reside. A good economy, collection of taxes, hunting beasts and most importantly harvesting materials through a dungeon, and many more are the ways that makes any ruling body up and running. The rare minerals and weapons that are found in dungeons are not the only things that people covet. There are also what they call 'blessings' and powerful men would kill for it.

Upon receiving the report sent by Raygen, the King of Blue Saint Kingdom immediately dispatch his troops to Hopeful Light town. If Raygen's guess is verified, then a new dungeon will be formed beyond the Farkel forest. The King also accepted Raygen's analysis because based on past experiences of places with existing dungeons, demons would always sweep away the surroundings and build a fort. Then they would guard the dungeon, harvesting the resources within and develop a powerful leader. By then, humans will have a hard time gaining an advantage to keep the dungeon.
