From Peace To Chaos

'BOOM'

The signal transmitted, the biohazard box reacted in the form of an explosion. The green liquid as it touched the air, immediately vaporized to become green smoke, covering the whole room and still continued to spread outside.

'Cough' 'Cough'

Everyone was taken aback. With the exception of Yuehan's group who wore oxygen masks, Kyle and the others were choked by the smoke.

There was an immediate reaction inside the tall box which was inscribed by the word "Mineral". It was the box which was according to the story, the root of the major problem.

Inside the tall box, unknowingly, there was a genuine mineral that stood tall. The inordinate exquisiteness of the shape and magnificient amalgamation of clear colors it held on its translucent body made it exceedingly invaluable. Bearing a grandiose style in its imposing form, it gave off a noble majesty.

As the smoke was carried by the wind of the explosion, it passed into the small holes of the box and entered inside of it. It led to the sudden reaction in which the mineral glowed lucently with luminous light in colors of yellow, violet, and pink spectacularly. The classroom with green gas all over was accompanied by the bewitching light.

Because of the reaction given by the mineral, it caused a strong disturbance to the properties of the air and then led back again to the reaction of the green smoke. The chain reaction produced by the circumstances allowed it to redo and rewrite its properties. It was gradually turning black. It was like a drop of an ink that dropped into a glass of water, rapidly spreading in a dark mass of particles.

Instead of green, the classroom and beyond of it was now engulfed with dark murky gases.

The scenario was very fast that everyone's thoughts could not catch up to the scenes. Without waiting for them to wait to organize their jumbled thoughts; with the exception of Yuehan's group beside Kyle, everyone's bloodvessels and part of their nerves were turning violet giving them an urgency of crisis.

They first felt each of a twinge of pain. When the color hastened to become black as if it was rotting, the pain was also escalating. To lessen their pain, their restless hands touched their agonizing body, when suddenly it became unbearable.

"Ahhhhh!"

All of them let out shrill sounds. As it was very insuppressable; some of them were rolling to the ground while screaming, banging their heads everywhere until bloody all over, and gripping their necks and loosing choking sounds. In the result, all kinds of sounds and voices were made and clearly, all of them were crazed.

"Wh-wha-what are you all doing? Renz, Lyka Stop it----!" Yuehan's group was unaffected except of Kyle. One of them who was the secretary according to their story of their role play, Mia, finally let out a sound after all of their shock. Located behind Jhundy, she quickly ran fast and went to help her congenial friends.

"Wh-wha-what's going on?!"

"What exactly is happening?"

"Something is wrong!"

"Why is this happening?"

"..."

After one had regained his/her senses, it led to a chain reaction of responses of everyone of Yuehan's group. Unlike the first person to immediately step out, they subconciously took their steps back except for one person.

"What are you standing there for?!" It was one the assistants, Jasper, in the story. He immediately went out to help whereas the others were still hesitating.

"Le-Let's should help them!" Jhundy spurred into action to save them when Yuehan grabbed his arm and held him back.

"Do not!" Sensing something out of this situation, Yuehan thoughts were all over his mind.

"What are you doing Yuehan?!" Jhundy immediately boiled to anger. He pulled his arm and scolded him. "We should help them! Quickly!"

"Do-do not! You should not." Yuehan's worries were useless as Jhundy immediately goaded himself in action to help. "Jhundyyy!"

But as of this moment, a screech was let out by someone.

"AAAAHHHH!!!"

Yuehan's group including Jhundy immediately reacted and stopped to see Jasper who went to help earlier bitten off by the neck, body spurting out blood. Then followed by the another, then another until a whole group were biting, tearing his clothes and skinning him off.

Before time could even pass, another bloodcurdling scream was again heard to see Mia far in front of them to be bitten off and pushed to the ground followed by the swarm to eat her. Gruesomeness was very vivid in detail.

After Yuehan heard the second scream and saw another group member was again bitten off; before the guy was pushed over, he immediately pulled back Jhundy and said, "Let us get the hell outta here!"

The gazes of the infected were unto their group that came less from the outside (spectators) and many in the inside (classmates). They walked comically yet hair-raisingly terrifying. Their bodies seemed to adapt first as they were all twitching repeatedly and if having seizures. Falling down again and again, and gaining their foothold again and again; they tried to balance their bodies repeatedly.

Everyone in Yuehan's group felt the dangerous crisis looming on them. Every cells of their bodies were screaming in terror. Immediately afterwards, a sudden responsive thought was transmitted from their brains as an instinctive reflex was made to undo the limits of the body and broke it just to survive and flee. Jhundy and Yuehan immediately strained out to find a way to get out from this place.

Front filled with more people than the back, their sudden subconscious attempt was to move to the right door which there were less and was already near to them.

"Ahhhh!!" A timid woman of their group, Mae, was pounced upon by doing so and was followed by the swarm to have a carnage of tender meat. In their way, the sounds of moving chairs sounded out as they crazingly sprang any obstacles, paying no heed just to get into the alluring body of a human. As the infected were succumbed to their voracious delicacy, it secured a clear way out for Yuehan's group as they immediately spurred into action to follow that way and escape.

The first to dash away fast was Aldee who was already near. After he came out by the door, he immediately fled unto the hallway.

The second person, Hiro, was unlucky as he lost balance and fell down. As he immediately tried to make a hold of his body; before he could stand up, he was held in his right leg by an arm that depicted with black vessels and nerves.

It was an infected which was one of the entities that struggled to get a hold of flesh with gore of the lying Mae. As this infected didn't get something, a living person suddenly fell down and beheld its leg for it to eat. It suddenly attached its arm to its leg and somehow made it successfully to take a bite out of it.

"Ahhhh!" For the first time, Hiro screamed out loud the greatest in his entire life. He instinctively held his left leg out in the air to make a momentum of force and burst it into the face of the infected with its teeth biting on his right leg.

'Pop' 'Click' 'Bang' As the said infected was thrown out, it hit its other kins and pop out sounds of flesh hitting with each other could be heard. At the same time, it sounded out again when they broke and hit the chairs and the ones standing fell on the floor strongly.

The infected were all naturally highly aggresive entities and once they were provoked, they immediately shifted their gazes which fell to Hiro. They let out weird and hoarse roars as they were trying to stand up or were crawling on the floor, just to pursue their target. "Arghhhh!"

After Hiro kicked his way out, he immediately got in his way through the outside with his right leg burdening him in his balance and posture. He somehow sensed the urgent crisis behind him and alarmed him to scamp away with his right leg hurriedly going into the hallway shouting out "HELP!!".

The infected also scamped away all over with their wriggling bodies immediately chasing after him.

At the same time.

The infected who were majorly inside the room were also alarmed by the roars and the scream. As they sensed the rage of their kins, they instinctively stopped what they were doing and searched their enemies in their surroundings. They found out the two remaining living persons, Jhundy and Yuehan, who stopped earlier to watch the proceedings when Hiro from earlier fell down.

Only 5 breaths had only passed during at that time.

After the group of infected who hurriedly chased Hiro, the spot was cleared away a lot of them. This gave Jhundy and Yuehan an opportunity and they spontaneously ran into the right door.

Unfortunately, they were blocked. The infected whom were crawling earlier were late to regain its foothold and balance to chase Hiro. With their first target was now far to see; Yuehan and Jhundy who were already nearby, became their new targets. Approaching them both, there were three of them.

The looming crisis was beyond of their imagination as they knew that a whole lot of the infected was also closing up on them from behind.

Yuehan who was faster than Jhundy was first to encounter them.

In the caliginous atmosphere; their grim bodies were squiggling, their swarthy skin full of dark vessels and black nerves were tenebrific than ever.
