5 Ch.5 Shadow Clone I choose you!

I have been going to the Academy for a week now and most of the stuff they are teaching is boring like how to properly use shuriken and kunai, learning what can only be described as ninja maths.

I was sitting in the second back of the class with Denki the bench was on the corner with the window. I would like to sit in the back but there was someone already claimed the seat and I didn't want to cause a scene, so I gave that seat up.

Our Homeroom teacher was Shino Aburame and I am not going to lie but I was kind of disappointed as to how he was looking, he had long black hair that was tied in that samurai fashion, he had large red bugs as his collar buttons, and he was wearing a vizor. Honestly, he looked better in Shippuden. With the glasses and his original haircut. He looked like the guy that sells you stuff in the schoolyard.

Shino sensei was teaching us the "Ninja Math". I was not really paying that much attention to it Hinata had already drilled those lessons into me a while ago so I was utilizing this time. I was channelling my chakra to my eyes. Trying to jump-start my Dojutsu. But it was not working. I mean it was there a few days ago but it was not working for some reason.

While I was working on the Dojutsu. Shino sensei shouted "Boruto, Boruto, Boruto Uzumaki!"

Denki pulled on my Jacket and it was enough to break me up from the training and I looked at him and he pointed at Shino sensei I stood up and I said: "Yes, sir?" Everyone started laughing.

He looked pissed and said, "Come down here and solve this."

I then walked down and Shikadai looked annoyed and Inojin looked at me and smiled, this bastard was having too much fun.

I walked up to the board and Shino sensei said "If you can't solve this you will be cleaning the whole classroom for a week."

I then picked up and started to solve the problem but the classroom started to shout, "fail, you suck, you are dumb." Shino sensei turned around and said "Shut up the next person to say anything will be joining him. You all need to understand that these things are important.

Paying attention, having patience and teamwork are the virtues of being a Shino. If you don't have any one of them it will end badly for you. Now Boruto as for you..."

As he turned around he saw that I had solved the problem and was very much surprised and so was everyone else. I mean it was a fairly difficult question but not impossible for me, I then did a little bow and said, "I am sorry sensei won't happen again."

He nodded and said, "Yeah, you can go to your seat."

I walked to my seat and sat down and everyone was pissed and surprised at the same time. Denki asked "How did you do that? You were not even paying attention?"

I smiled and said "I have already studied most of the stuff they are teaching here. Well, that is the academic stuff." I then paid attention to the rest of the class.

(Iwabee Pov)

I have to repeat a year again because of some stupid paper, in the past being Shinobi only thing that was required was that you are strong and can follow orders, but now we have to pass a paper exam to advance further. I hate this.

I was sitting in the classroom and this year it was filled with a bunch of kids that were born with a silver spoon in their mouth. I especially don't think this kid. Boruto Uzumaki, the son of the Seventh Hokage. Just because he is Hokage's son he thinks he doesn't need to pay attention. I will straighten him out.

We were in the sparing ring and it looked like the one from Naruto but this was bigger and had dirt ground. Instead of the concrete ground.

I was hanging back with Denki, Shikadai, Metal and Inojin. Metal had social anxiety, and I mean a bad one, he was good at taijutsu and shurikenjutsu but that only lasted until someone was watching him Inojin said "So Metal are you going to fight?"

Metal said with great conviction, "Yes, I will I want to fight strong opponents to grow, I will continue to train until I become the strongest."

Inojin then smiled and said, "Even if everyone is watching you?"

Metal panicked and asked, "What... do you mean?"

Inojin smiled and said, "Well if you want to spar with someone here everyone will see you obviously."

Metal started to look around and started panicking. Shikadai was annoyed and said, "Oye Inojin stop messing with metal."

Inojin made a face and said, "So Boruto will you fight someone?"

I smiled and said, "Yeah, and how about I start with you?"

Inojin smiled and said, "Now, now there is no need to be violent."

As we were talking Shino sensei called me "Boruto!" and I thought 'what is it now?'

I then walked up to him and asked "Yes, sensei?"

He cleared his throat and said "Iwabee wants to spar with you." and he pointed at Iwabee.

I then looked at Iwabee and he had a very cocky smile, I assume he wants to beat the Hokage's son to prove some dumb point I guess. I then said, "I accept."

He then laughed and said, "At least you have the guts to accept the challenge."

I didn't say anything and just gave him a condescending smile. That pissed him off quite well, I then entered the ring and he tossed his staff away and I said "Sensei allow Iwabee to have his weapon."

Shino sensei was surprised and asked, "Are you sure Boruto?"

I said, "Yes, I don't want to give him an excuse that he lost because he didn't have his weapon with him." He was fuming red with anger, he is not going to take it easy on me and neither am I.

Shino sensei said, "If something happens I will intervene."

We then took our potions, I chose a stance similar to Hinata but it wasn't quite like the Huga style, my pams were in front and I had some distance between my legs, sensei said "1, 2, 3, Hajime!"

I then went for him and we started our fight with a little taijutsu. We both threw punches but he had the height advantage and was actually pushing me back, he then landed a kick at my stomach and blocked it and created my distance and he smiled and said "It looks like you are good but is that all you got?"

I smiled and asked, "You want me to take it more seriously?"

He looked pissed but then laughed and said "That's all this is to you huh? A game? All of here are trying our best to become a Shinobi, while you are here enjoying your time, because of your father. You should be ashamed."

I then smiled but it was not a gentle smile it was a twisted one and I said "Ho... so let me show you Iwabee-Kun what I can really do."

He then got ready and I created three shadow clones and I was in front and the two were behind me as support, we went for him, I was moving at an incredible pace. I unleashed a barrage of attacks at Iwabee even if was able to dodge most of them many of them hit him.

In an attempt to create space Iwaabe shouted and pungled his staff into the ground and used Earth release to create a spiky mud wall and they were coming for me.

I jumped back towards the two shadow clones and they did the hand weave and said "Fūton: Reppūshō." They both created a strong Gale at the palm of their hands and that launched me up, and they were both pierced by the mud wall.

Iwabee saw that and smiled and said, "I have you now." And swung his staff from the ground and small sharp rocks were coming towards me and I created two shadow clones and one of the shadow clones said "Fūton: Toppa" and the small rocks were blown away. And some of them were coming for Iwabe he then created a mudwall to protect him.

The other shadow clone threw me down and I did the hand weave for my Jutsu and appeared from the sky and said "It's over." I punched the wall and pierced the wall and my punch connected with Iwabee's stomach and he was knocked back by the shockwave.

The whole classroom was in awe of the performance. They never would have imagined that I was this strong only a few people knew that. I then walked over to Iwabee and said "Oye you okay?" I offered him my hand

He took my hand and said, "I am, thank you."

I then said, "I am sorry if you are hurt or something."

He nodded and said, "No, I am sorry for thinking that you were... "

I genuinely smiled and said "I already forgot about that, but more importantly I am thankful to have someone as strong as you in my class. It will be fun sparring with you in the future."

He smiled and said, "Let's spar and become strong."

In the crowd, a plump looking girl was wearing a white shinobi outfit with a short skirt, it was Cho Cho she was eating chips asked the girl next to her "Hey Sarada did you know he was this powerful?"

the girl had black eyes and black hair, the hair reached her shoulders and she had parted her hair to the right, she was wearing a vermillion Jacket underneath a white shirt and she was wearing a red skirt and open toe boots.

She looked at her friend and didn't say anything and just looked at Boruto.
