1 Prologue: Receiving My System
I was about to receive my System. In this world there existed monsters, hunted by Monster Hunters who protected the regulars. Regular humans weren't strong enough to take on Monsters, but luckily the Gods had blessed the human race with Systems - infusible magic-like elements that could enhance a person's strength. But receiving a System is not as simple as it sounds.
In order to receive a System, you had to be compatible. Compatible, as in, if you were born an incompatible way you could not survive the fusion of a System with your body. Not only that but even if your body was compatible with a System you had to go through intense training so your body wouldn't explode upon receiving a System. As you can tell, a System's infusion is quite dangerous, no matter what.
But I, Fujin Enomoto had been training for the last seven years and now, at seventeen years old I was ready to be infused with a System. I was quite muscular due to the training I had sea-blue eyes and dark brown-grey hair with blonde highlights. I was wearing the training school's uniform which was a kimono.
I was already attending the Graduation Ceremony of my System training course. It was thought and at moments unbearable, but I had finally done it. I was going to graduate and receive my System today.
I was in a class with fifteen other students. My friends of those fifteen were only two - Ai and Rayyan. They were my best friends. I had met them seven years ago and we had been inseparable ever since.
Then suddenly my name was called. "Fujin Enomoto!" a familiar voice called.
I stood up from my seat and went in the direction of the voice. I entered an ancient temple of the Gods, where I would now be infused with my specially chosen System via a ritual.
In front of me was my sensei - Mr. Horayuki. He had been my sensei for all those seven years and I had grown quite fond of him. He would be the one to infuse me with my System.
I stepped in front of the old man and bowed; So did he. I then straightened my back preparing to receive my System.
"I hope you get a System that suits you, Fujin." Mr. Horayuki said to me with a soft smile. "You always were my favorite." he then mumbled under his breath, barely audible.
Mr. Horayuki's look then went from kind and warm to very serious. His green eyes began to shine as he put both of his hands out. He began chanting a spell in a language I presumed to be related to the Gods. He had begun the ritual.
His hair began to float as his arms started to glow. The room got brighter as magic circles formed around me. They were blue and warm. I wondered what kind of System I would receive as I began o float, presumably, from the magic.
My eyes also began to glow their blue color as I felt something enter my body. A sort of energy that filled it completely. I then lost consciousness. Did I die?

I then woke up floating in a blue space. Suddenly before me appeared letters and numbers, information. I wasn't sure where I was, if I was just seeing things or if I was dead, but I then read what I saw before me.

I looked at the information about my System in aww. 'Amazing!' I thought as I read it, 'Dragon magic! Elements? That's amazing'. I got excited like a child. But then I looked down. 'Level 0?' I wondered, 'I thought that System's only start at Level 1 and above. It's a bit strange, but it's fine. I'll just get enough points and level up—.'
I then looked at the "Points needed for Level up" section of the System. "One hundred million points for level one?" I yelled no longer just thought, " That's insane! None of my actions give me a fraction of that!"
Am I just stuck at Level 0? What is my skill for this Level?
I looked at the skill for Level 0 and was glad that I could at least do something.
As soon as I had finished reading the System I came back to consciousness.
"Dragon Mage System Infused. System Activating." I heard an unfamiliar female voice spoke inside of my head as I came back to consciousness.
I then floated back to the ground and was asked to exit by Mr. Horayuki as another student was called to receive his System.
I exited the Graduation Ceremony hall puzzled and confused.
What was I supposed to do when I was below Level 1?!
