4 Pen Who?

Pina searched around her perimeter and see if there was any other sign that she was being chased (creature that can track scent, a scout from the Red Ember Kingdom, magic sigil on the trees, etc.)

After making sure that there was nothing else, she slowed down.

"Huff, huff, huff... thank you..."

"You don´t seem like someone from Red Ember Kingdom. Your... facial feature is a little strange. Who are you and where did you come from? Are you... a spy?"

Peng Hu was a little bit surprised by how she was treating him now, in comparison to what she did moments ago.

[She finally regained her composure. As always, women certainly have ways to change their mood spontaneously. First, I need to clear up my situation with her and avoid any other unneccesary misunderstanding. Afterwards, I need to gather information because this place doesn´t look like anything I remember.]

"My name is Peng Hu and I´m from America. United States. I have Chinese roots and that is why you may find my features a little bit strange in your standards. And... last time I checked, I was just a senior student at high school and did not have any secret life as a spy."

"Pen... Who? Your name is Pen Who? Or are you asking me what your name is? You have... amnesia?"

"No. My name is Peng Hu. I don´t have amnesia."

"Pen Who?"

"Not Pen Who. Peng Hu."

"Ben Who."

"NO! My name is Peng Hu! Not Pen Who nor Ben Who."

"Are you taking me for a fool or are you wasting time so that your teammates can catch up?"

Peng Hu knew that if he were to keep arguing with this person, he could probably end up like a few moments ago: joints locked.

[Sigh... I should have gotten an English name and prevent situations like this in the future... For now, let´s go with Pen Who, else she would kill me.]

"... Yes, my name is Pen Who."

"Pen Who... what a peculiar name. I actually feel sorry for you. No wonder you are alone and away from your people. If I were you, I would change my name. I am surprised that you are still using it."

[You were the one who gave me that name! Your mother is alone. Your whole family is alone!]

"I answered your questions. Now... could you kindly tell me where am I?"

As if repeating the same scene from the beginning when they first met, Pina pulled out her rapier and pointed at Peng Hu.

"I am the one asking questions. As to my questions... you have not answered them clearly."

"? How could I not? I said that I am from America and that..."

"That is the problem Mr. Who."

"I do not see where I could go wrong with America. If it is not clear, what I meant is that I am from the United States."

"There is no 'america'... nor any united... 'states'. As a matter of fact, it is very strange if any kingdom were to be allies in this era."

Peng Hu slowly digested what she just said. With a befuzzled look and a confused mind, Peng Hu wanted to clarify again and make sure that his ears weren't playing with him.

"What... did you just say? There is no... America?"

"There is no 'america' kingdom."
