6 Chapter 5

Eragon POV

Well, the funny thing Kate and others had thought my abilities were psychic gifts since I had only shown her Chlorokensis, Telekinesis, and Illusion creation since I was Kate's mate I decided to come clean and tell the others my abilities came from my ability to use magic Tanya looked at me as if I was crazy as she said. "It is magic, not psychic gifts."I replied as if it was the most obvious thing "Well duh phoenix blood runs through my veins."It took some time for them to register it was magic Eleazar was doubtful but even he couldn't come up with any other explanation as Kate questioned with curiosity "So what else you do with magic."I shrugged and replied, "I guess that is a huge list."

Kate didn't let excitement show on her face as she said "Well then you can show me tomorrow on our date."

The next day was very simple both kate and I was going on date to get to know each other better but the problem was there were not many places we could visit because of my appearance. So we decided a walk through the woods is enough Kate mostly showed me around the Denali covens territory the snow made the forest look beautiful.

Kate and I had mostly talked to each other about our life as I asked her "So what is your life like before you turned into a vampire."Kate was thoughtful as she started explaining "Well I was born in Slavic tribe during 1000's AD my real name is Katrina I was well trained in my tribe's martial arts that I became an attendant or basically a bodyguard to a highborn female of my tribe. Everything was normal until one day our caravan was attacked by Sasha who was Tanya's. Well, Sasha was so impressed by my courage and determination to defend the caravan and the physical resemblance I had to Tanya that she decided change into a vampire having lost my parents when I was very young Sasha quickly became my mother in all but blood with decade after my transformation my power developed."Kate slowly held her hand out showing sparks of electricity as she continued" Well Sasha soon found our youngest sister Irina and invited her into the family. Everything was going great Until the Voulturi discovered that Sasha had created an immortal child named Vasilii."

I acted confused and questioned "Immortal child."

Kate answered "Immortal children are vampires created out of humans who were barely more than infants… They were very beautiful. So endearing, so enchanting, you can't imagine. You had but to be near them to love them; it was an automatic thing. However, they could not be taught. They were frozen at whatever level of development they'd achieved before being bitten. Adorable two-year-olds with dimples and lisps that could destroy half a village in one of their tantrums. If they hungered, they fed, and no words of warning could restrain them… In the end, the practice was completely eliminated. The immortal children became unmentionable, a taboo, and Sasha created one causing Volturi to kill her and Vasili. We watched our mother get ripped apart and burned .The Voulturi only left us because we didn't know about Vasili."

I held kate's hand to comfort her seeing the gesture she smiled at me while I said "Sorry I brought out bad memories."Kate put one hand on my lips and shushed and me while saying"You known about this sooner or later."

Kate looked at me with a slight glint in her eyes as she asked pointing at bald eagle "You said you can transform animals or humans into many different forms. Care to try it out."I knew she was trying to get away from the bad memories as I sighed and replied, "Don't say I didn't warn you."

I waved my hands as gold aura covered the eagle who slowly landed in front of us and started to slowly turn into a human seeing this kate's jaw dropped while the eagle was a naked teenager with white hair looked at himself I saw horror written on his face as he looked at me and said "You monster turn me back into majestic self."I put my hands in a surrendering motion as I said "Okay I will turn you back to your usual self."

I turned him back to his original form as I saw Kate was still slack-jawed so I snapped my fingers in front of her face making her snap out of it as she grabbed my shoulder and shaking while asked "You can change a bird into a human."I was getting dizzy and as I replied, "I did say any form right."

Kate suddenly questioned, "Can you turn us into our human too."I gave a nod and replied, "I can actually."Kate who heard this suddenly kissing me leaving me dazed while she laughed and muttered, "Wait and Tanya and Irina hear about this we can go to the beach, shopping there are so many things I want to try out."

I snapped out of my daze as I cut in "If you want I can change you into a human with all the benefits of a vampire but none of the defects."Hearing this kate was stunned as she soon said"You can do that."

I gave a nod and replied, "Well if know how your body works then yes."Kate smirked hearing this as she asked "My body works, So jumping sex only after our first date."I spluttered hearing "No..no....I didn't mean that I just have to use magic to understand how your vampire body works."

Kate gave a teasing smiled replied, "I know."I huffed and muttered "She is enjoying this too much."

Our date was cut short was then dragged me to the house well let just say when the whole coven heard this they looked at me as If saying 'please do this.'
