1 I am a cloud....... Is that good or bad?
'Where am i, actually who am i ?' That was Gale's first though upon waking up. While Gale was trying to figure this out he heard a strange voice.
"Hello Gale, I am system the one who is tasked with making your life more enjoyable."
When gale heard this he tried to locate the source of the voice however he could not find it.
"You don't need to look for me Gale as i am a part of your soul."
When Gale heard this he became confused, or rather even more confused than when he woke up.
"Alright Gale, let's sort out the situation you are in. Firstly, you are a cloud, a being that should not have contentiousness, however the god of clouds got bored so he decided to make you a soul."
Upon hearing this Gale was shocked. He wanted to know so many things, like where he was, why could the god of clouds make souls, and many more. Once the system heard these thought's it tried to answer to the best of its abilities.
" Gale currently we are located 34,567 ft above a kingdom called Fiore, It is currently the year X767 and the reason the god of clouds can make souls is because all gods can make souls. Do you have any more questions?"
Gale was speechless. The systems answered all his questions and even answered a question he didn't ask. Gale started to wonder many things, however one thought genuinely scared him. What was he supposed to do? He couldn't move how he wanted, he couldn't see, he would be alone. As gale was about to get depression the system woke him up and gave him a bit of hope.
"Gale although you can't move or see right now in the future you will be able to do many things in the future. In order to give you an enjoyable life the god of clouds made me to help you have fun. Well enough of that lets start the tutorial."
When Gale heard that he would start a tutorial he was confused, although he knew many words that seemed to have been engraved into his soul, tutorial was not one of them. However it seemed like the system did not care and simply continued on with the 'tutorial'.
"Gale in order to complete the tutorial you must do as i say, alright?"
At this time gale had no choice to comply, if he didn't there was a chance he would never gain the freedom he desires.
"Gale think of the word 'status' and the tutorial will commence"
After learning how to start the tutorial Gale thought 'status' without wasting a second, but nothing could have prepared him for what happened next. In front of Gale appeared a white sheet of paper, it had strange characters on it that only Gale could understand. If it were translated into English it would read.

While Gale was reading this he had a few questions, and one of those questions was asking about his race. After all as far as he knew he was a normal cloud that was given a soul.
"If your body were to gain a soul without any modifications, your soul would have dissipated along with your body. As a counter measure to this problem the god of clouds altered your body and made you progenitor of a new race. Because of this your body will not dissipate under normal circumstances."
After hearing this Gale felt like an idiot. After some time passed Gale asked what his skills do, and the system replied.
"Cloud Magic allows you to make and manipulate clouds, this will allow you to change your form in the future making it possible to walk on the ground by increasing your density etc. The letter F next to your 'Cloud Magic' skill shows its rank. Skills can be categorized form F Rank- A Rank, since 'Cloud Magic' has an F next to it, that shows that the skill is F rank, this also shows that you magic still needs training in order to become truly powerful and eventually travel the surface of the world. Every time your magic increases in rank the mana required to use the skill will decrease and your control over clouds would increase. "
Gale hearing that he could eventually move on his own instead of travelling by the wind made him exited. He also discovered a reason to train himself, but before he was able to start training he was interrupted by the system.
"Congratulations on completing the tutorial."
Hearing that Gale was happy and immediately started training, or he should have if he knew how to. Realizing he had no idea on how to train his cloud magic he decided to ask the system.
"In order to train and use magic you need to feel the magic in your body and use it to manipulate the clouds to your will."
And Gale did just that. After about 3 minutes Gale managed to move his body slightly before passing out. When gale came to he immediately asked the system what happened.
"You passed out due to mana exhaustion, but don't worry that's not necessarily a bad thing, because of this you managed to increase your mana capacity."
Once Gale heard this he immediately thought 'status' and just as the system said his magic capacity increased.

Happy that his mana capacity increased Gale started training his magic again, and this time he managed to last a little longer before passing out, and just like last time his mana capacity had increased. After repeating this cycle for a while he started to notice that he wasn't always increasing his mana capacity stat every time he passed out. The system noticing his confusion said.
"The stronger you get the harder it is to get stronger."
Gale decided that it didn't matter as long as he was able to walk, talk, and see, so gale resumed the cycle of using all his mana, passing out, and waking up, only to do the same thing again and again. After repeating the process for a while he noticed that his cloud magic skill had increased from F rank to E rank. He also notice because of this it was taking much longer than usual in order to pass out, so he decided it was time to try creating clouds however he wasn't able to last more than half a second before he passed out from trying to create a cloud.
Over time Gale was eventually able to absorb clouds in order to replenish his mana. Although he never needed to as he would always be full on mana by the time he woke up from mana exhaustion.
1 year after Gale was born he was finally able to see, after numerous trails and errors he was finally able to create working eyes. although everything he saw was blurry he was still overjoyed by being able to see. After doing a mini celebration the system informed him that he had a new skill so he decided to check it out.

Gale was exited because he was able to make an extremely useful skill. Although it may seem kinda dull to others it was an extremely big deal to Gale as he was only able to see darkness for the past year. When Gale finally calmed down he looked around only to see an infinite blue, with many white splotches that seemed to be clouds. Upon realizing that he was still in the sky he decided to look down, he saw a beautiful albeit blurry city, a lush but blurry forest, and many tall blurry mountains. However when he tried to get closer to the city he realized he was still a cloud, so he only observed the city for a while before he went back to training. This time his training goal was to get a human form.
(A/N: Gale uses a different magic system from the rest of the world, if you haven't noticed already, so don't go yelling at me that he is supposed to use Ethernano instead of mana okay.)
